My Little Super Box March 2015
Price of the Box –  from £13.95 a month
No of Products  – 5 items
Value – £58.79
www.mylittlebox.co.uk

The March My Little Box has landed and this month see’s a fun and very comic inspired edition than the usual chic and relaxed versions we’re use to. Whilst there isn’t a magical cape, stretchy pants or any super powers within this month’s box  (not that us women need these!) it certainly has the wow and pow factor shouting all things girl power. I love the super-hero theme and it was nice to see something a little different this month without compromising on any of those intricate details or the quality inside. Just when you think you’ve seen the best of My Little Box they go and surprise us with another showstopping edition and I’m sure you will agree there’s a lot to love about this month’s box which debuts the first ever clothing item.

I know I say this every month but this box never fails to impress me with this months edition being no exception. From it’s chic presentation to the stylish and luxe contents within, it beautifully captures this month’s theme.

This box offers something very different compared to the other boxes and if their previous boxes are anything to go by you will certainly not be disappointed. It’s definitely a showstopper and one which is beautifully composed with their very own in-house illustrator Kanako. Every month the box truly captures me and the contents and loveliness inside is even more pleasing, it’s something which My Little Box do extremely well.

My Little Box is a hand-picked and beautifully designed box of beauty, fashion and lifestyle surprises. With fashion accessories, beauty products and other goodies created exclusively for you and based around a different theme every month, each box promises to delight their subscribers. They also produce their in house beauty products known as My Little Beauty.

The February edition features five items with an incredible value of £58.79 and includes a mixture of skin and hair care products contained within a charming drawstring bag alongside two lifestyle items. Enclosed is the My Little World Magazine which is always a good read with interview features, useful beauty tips to mouth watering recipes.

1. Garnier Miracle Sleeping Cream – Full-Size 50ml RRP £12.99

I don’t know what it is but recently I’ve acquired quite a few anti-ageing products and can’t help but think someones trying to subtly tell me something! This innovative, self-smoothing texture cream by Garnier envelops the skin and visibly helps reduce the appearance of signs of fatigue during the night, promising visible results from the 1st morning. Whilst this is branded as an anti-ageing product it also focuses on tired skin and claims to leave the skin looking fresh and radiant while helping to regenerate the skin too.

I’m not quite there yet with the anti-ageing products but I’m definitely willing to give this a try to see if it does transform my skin overnight.

2. Keratase Lait Crystal Conditioner  – Travel Size 75ml Worth £7.50

I’ve tried this range from Keratase last year and absolutely adored what it did for my problematic, frizz-prone hair.

If you have dry hair like mine,  this unique conditioner will give you tremendous softness and volume and the secret lies within the triple-threat formula. Liquid light reflectors deliver mega-watt shine, while eco-friendly polymers restore brittle, uneven follicles on a microscopic level and the Vitamin-rich aloe vera hydrates the hair without weighing it down, giving a silky texture which we all crave.

The conditioner texture is really light weight and works great as a daily conditioner for my long, thick hair as it doesn’t weigh it down and leaves my hair feeling soft, free flowing and bouncy ( just like the hair adverts!) and not forgetting how divine it leaves my hair smelling afterwards. It’s definitely my little hero this month and happy to reacquainted again.

3.  My Little Beauty Lip Nourishing Stick – Full Size RRP £5.30

I think it’s pretty amazing that My Little Box also have their own beauty range which is called My Little Beauty.

This month see’s a full sized Lip Nourishing Stick, made with sweet almond oil and shea butter to hydrate and nourish the lips. Unfortunately I have a severe nut allergy so wasn’t able to try this which is a shame as I love lip balms.

4. Lifestyle Items

This month’s box included two lifestyle items which really complemented the theme and excitedly contained the first ever clothing item for subscribers in the UK.

First up is a T’shirt designed by Gat Rimon and My Little Box  (RRP £29) and there’s a few different one’s I’ve seen in terms of the statement on the front but they are all grey in colour with black writing.  The quality is quite impressive and doesn’t look cheap or tacky. In fact it looks really stylish with it’s rolled-up sleeves. For me this is definitely the showstopper within the box and I absolutely love mine but there’s a little bit of a down side – that damn song keeps springing to mind every time!

Up next is a sheet of Super Stickers (RRP £4.00) which contains a variety of super-hero inspired stickers from outfits to empowering quotes. I’m not really too wowed by these but I’m sure I’ve got a boring notebook at work which could do with a little sprucing up!

 My Verdict

I loved this month’s edition and it was quite refreshing to see something a little more fun and different compared to previous editions and as per every month the attention to detail, intricate design and content is impressive which is something this box never fails on. In terms of the beauty line up, it wasn’t what I was hoping for in comparison to what others received such as a Caudalie hand cream and a lip and cheek crayon, but nevertheless the t’shirt made up for this and I think it’s definitely the highlight within the box and I can see this being quite popular amongst subscribers. This month’s box has an amazing value of around £58.79 beating the price of the box and there was also a few discount codes included to redeem against some of the brands showcased.

One of the aspects I really like about the My Little Box is that they include a great handbag sized magazine which includes interview features, beauty tips along with recipes too. As well as all of the pretty photo’s it’s a great read too.

My Little Box is full of charm and I love the surprise aspect as they do not release any spoilers. This is a box which I eagerly wait for each month and one which holds it’s own class and uniqueness.

If you like chic and adorable lifestyle items along with good beauty brands, you will simply fall in love with this box and I can’t recommend it enough!

My Little Frenchie Box – Ines de La FressangeFebruary 2015
Price of the Box –  from £13.95 a month
No of Products  – 6 items
Value – £64.49
www.mylittlebox.co.uk

If last month’s box left you in awe and wanting more, the February My Little Box edition makes a fashionable statement in true parisienne form in collaboration with Ines de La Fressange who is world-renowned for her role as muse to leading international designers.

I know I say this every month but this box never fails to impress me with this months edition being no exception. From it’s chic presentation to the stylish and luxe contents within, it beautifully captures this month’s collaboration.

The February edition contains six items with an incredible value of £64.49 and includes a mixture of make up products which is contained within a charming drawstring bag and also lifestyle items. Enclosed is the My Little World Magazine which is always a good read with interview features, useful beauty tips to mouth watering recipes.

1. By Terry Crayon Khol Terrybly – Full-Size RRP £23.00

I think it’s pretty impressive that’s there’s a full sized eyeliner from opulent make up brand By Terry and having heard great things I was excited to be finally introduced.

This eyeliner claims to be a high-precision waterproof eye pencil to create bold and glamorous eyes and also guarantees to be very long-lasting with excellent hold.

I received the shade bronze generation which a very dark brown with hints of shimmer. I don’t usually turn to shades other than black but this one is surprisingly does look more black than bronze.

I tend to use Kohls mainly for their smooth and creamy application, and this Terrybly pencil takes it to the ultimate level of performance. The creamy liner literally glides onto the waterline very effortlessly and it’s deep pigment with the subtle shimmer gives a super intense colour that really makes the eyes pop. Unfortunately two hours later I noticed I had shimmer everywhere under my eye and it just wouldn’t budge! This was a complete let down for me as I had such high expectations. I loved the formula itself and hoping that their black eyeliner without the shimmer delivers a much better result.

2. L’Oreal Brow Artist Shaper  – Full Size RRP £5.49

Brow filling is a must for me to give me extra definition and shape and I much prefer pencils instead of powders so was happy to see a this within the bag in the shade Dark Brunette. This 3 in 1 eyebrow pencil intensifies, defines and tames the brows and features a wax based formula and a soft brush tip.

Firstly this has just the right texture with it not being to creamy or too stiff and the colour was a perfect near match for me. I really love this pencil which works pretty well and it’s really budget friendly too.

3.  DHC Blotting Paper  – Full Size (100 sheets) RRP £4.00

If you have oil-prone skin like me, blotting papers are great to eliminate oil and mattify the skin while you’re on the go.

These blotting papers are fragrance free and gently eradicate excess oil and mattify the skin such as the nose, chin and forehead by simply blotting or wiping the area. I love the pretty pink packaging and this will certainly be replacing the ones I already have in my make up bag. The pack is conveniently sized and is great for keeping in your make up bag or handbag for on the go touch ups to keep your complexion shine-free throughout the day and night.

4.  My Little Beauty Complexion Enhancer  – Full Size 30ml RRP £9.50

I think it’s pretty amazing that My Little Box also have their own beauty range which is called My Little Beauty.

This month see’s a full sized tube of a Complexion Enhancer, a very welcomed addition to combat dullness and lackluster skin during the colder months.

The slightly tinted formula is very light and it’s versatility is perfect for all skin tones. It’s infused with Apricot Kernal and anti-oxidants and not only gives a warm natural glow but also protects your skin leaving it soft and smooth. It’s is lightly scented too and is great for days when you want be make-up free.

5. Lifestyle Items

This month’s box included 2 lifestyle items which really complemented the Ines de la Fressange collaboration.

First up is a Smart Phone Case (RRP £16) which has been designed by Ines de La Fressange and My Little Box. The quality is quite impressive and doesn’t look cheap or tacky. In fact it looks really stylish. My iphone fitted perfectly within the case and I love that there was an extra compartment too for me to store other bits. I’m forever losing my phone in my handbag and this is so ideal for me.

Up next is an adorable Pot of Messages (RRP £6.50) which contains 28 tiny scrolls inscribed with happy and positives quotes to brighten your day. This is probably my favourite item this month, the sentiment is so lovely and I can’t wait to read each one.

 My Verdict

I adore this months edition which beautifully captures the collaboration with Ines de La Fressange and as per every month the attention to detail, intricate design and content is impressive which is something this box never fails on. I loved the beauty line up this month mainly showcasing make-up this month along with both of the lifestyle items. I liked that there was something practical and also something quite unique and fun.

My Little Energy Box – January 2015
Price of the Box –  from £13.95 a month

www.mylittlebox.co.uk

The January 2015 box has landed from it’s home in France and this month’s edit is My Little Energy Box, focused around positive vibes and energy to get you looking and feeling great again. January is the time to purge the toxins, take up that invigorating new activity and of course to be a better you!  This edit features a gym bag to kick-start those resolutions, an adorable calender to keep you super-organised and a selection of beauty treats from energising skincare to a nail varnish from a brand I love.

This box offers something very unique compared to the other boxes and if their previous boxes are anything to go by you will certainly not be disappointed. It’s definitely a showstopper and one which is beautifully composed with their very own in-house illustrator Kanako.

My Little Box is a hand-picked and beautifully designed box of beauty, fashion and lifestyle surprises. With fashion accessories, beauty products and other goodies created exclusively for you and based around a different theme every month, each box promises to delight their subscribers. They also produce their own in-house beauty products known as My Little Beauty.

The January edition contains five items and includes a mixture of beauty products which is contained within a charming drawstring bag and also lifestyle items. Enclosed is the My Little World Magazine which is always a good read with interview features, useful beauty tips to mouth watering recipes.

1. Talika Photo-Hydra Day – Travel Size 50ml. Full Size 50ml RRP £43.50

Within this month’s box is a very generous sized sample of Talika’s Photo Hydra Day Cream and in line with this month’s theme, the cream uses the energy from natural light to deeply moisturise and hydrate the skin making it much more than just an average moisturiser. The cream also contains the powerful moisture-binding ingredient Hyaluronic Acid which creates an effective water reservoir within the skin cells and plumps the skin for a rejuvenating and youthful effect alongside Mango Butter, which nourishes the skin and prevents dehydration.

Talika isn’t a brand I’ve heard of before however I’m really excited to try out this cream which claims to offer multiple skin benefits for all skin types.

2. Nails Inc Nail Varnish – Full Size 10ml RRP £11.00

I was delighted to see a Nails Inc nail varnish in the shade Tate, a classic red which is very parisian.

Tate is a deep blood red with a lovely glossy finish and a couple of coats gives you a fully opaque result.

I love the shade which will pair well with any outfit and can be worn all year round.

3.  My Little Beauty Energising Mist  – Full Size RRP £7.50

I think it’s pretty amazing that My Little Box also have their own beauty range which is called My Little Beauty.

Inside this month’s box is a full sized Energising Mist which is very fitting for this month’s box.

This face and body mist is enriched with Vitamin C and green tea to help refresh the appearance of dull and fatigued skin as well as re-energising a tired body.

The mist has a gorgeous and non-artificial smell which smells really refreshing with subtle floral notes.

I think the inclusion of the mist was a great choice for this month’s box. Not only is it a great pick me up to wake up the skin but the handy sized spray will easily fit into a handbag for on-the-go touch ups as well as it being an essential for the gym bag too.

4. Lifestyle Items

This month’s box included two lifestyle extras in the form of a gym bag and an adorable calender.

First up is a very good sized gym bag made from nylon with a motivational quote on the side “Energy is Contagious”. It’s the ideal size with smaller compartments inside to store money and keys. It’s also very light weight, perfect for carrying around especially if you don’t drive. It’s a good all rounder bag that can double up as a weekend bag too if you’re not a gym enthusiast.

Up next is an adorable calender in an A5 size which can be hung up or alternatively it’s even small enough to fit inside your handbag. A great essential to keep you super-organised this year.

 My Verdict

I really love this month’s box which not only focuses on fitness but also has a great balance of beauty and lifestyle essentials to help kick start the year. As per every month the attention to detail, intricate design and content is impressive which is something this box never fails on.

My Little Box is full of charm and I love the surprise aspect as they do not release any spoilers. This is a box which I eagerly wait for each month and one which holds it’s own class and uniqueness.

This month’s box showcased brands such as Talika, Nails Inc and an item from their in-house My Little Beauty range. I particularly liked all of the beauty products this month which are all good sized and usable. The lifestyle items complemented the first box of year perfectly.

This months My Little World Magazine was also good read and contained fitness challenges, some useful tutorials from nail art to hair and even some healthy breakfast ideas.

I’m looking forward to the February edit and hoping it’s themed around the month of red hearts!

My Little Box – Fleur De Force – December 2014
Price of the Box –  from £13.95 a month
No of Products  – 7 items
www.mylittlebox.co.uk

I’m a little late to the party with this month’s review as my December 2014 My Little Box went astray and had to be sent out again hence posting this review today.

The December box month sees a collaboration with Beauty and Fashion Blogger Fleur De Force. Last month I attended the My Little Box party where the December box was showcased along with lots of food and drink and not forgetting the lovely team at My Little Box who were all very welcoming and lovely. This edit features a festive line up which includes adorable gift wrapping essentials to get your creativity juices flowing, a must-have winter headband and a good selection of beauty discoveries from skin loving treats to a party lipstick. This edition is one of my favourites from My Little Box and as per every month the attention to detail, design and content is impressive which is something which this box never fails on.

This box offers something very different compared to the other boxes and if their previous boxes are anything to go by you will certainly not be disappointed. It’s definitely a showstopper and one which is beautifully composed with their very own in-house illustrator Kanako.

The December edition contains 7 items and includes a mixture of beauty products which is contained within a charming drawstring bag and also lifestyle items. Enclosed is the My Little World Magazine which is always a good read with interview features, useful beauty tips to mouth watering recipes.

1. Cowshed Wild Cow Invigorating Body Lotion – Travel Size 100ml RRP £10.00

I love Cowshed products and you definitely need some what of a sense of humour to really appreciate this brand. There is a range for all sorts of different cows from lazy cow to even a saucy cow as well as others! I was happy to see a generous sized body lotion inside this month’s box.

Cowshed products are quintessentially British and all Made in England. Inspired by nature, Cowshed’s range of honest, natural and therapeutic products, use only the best organic and wildcrafted plant extracts and the highest quality essential oils.

I received the Wild Cow Invigorating Body Lotion which contains the finest quality Shea and Cocoa Butters to moisturise and tone the skin. It’s infusion of Lemongrass, Ginger and Rosemary helps to refresh and cleanse, awaken the senses and sharpen the mind. The texture of the cream is quite rich and feels really nourishing on the skin which is perfect for the months of winter.

This is a great pick me up in the morning after a shower to wake up the body and mind.

2. L’Occitane Immortelle Precious Crème – Sample Size 15ml

This is a good sized sample of a new triple-action formula with which boasts an even higher concentration of active molecules to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles, boosts the skin’s firmness and offer’s lasting anti-ageing protection. It’s Ideal for normal to dry skin with the cream being rich and smooth in texture, it visibly corrects deep wrinkles and helps restore firmness to the skin with a combination of organic immortelle essential oil and organic immortelle cell extracts.

I really love L’Occintane products but unfortunately this isn’t suited for my skin type.

3.  My Little Beauty Lipstick  – Full Size RRP £15.00

I think it’s pretty amazing that My Little Box also have their own beauty range which is called My Little Beauty.

Inside this months box is a full sized lipstick which comes in an ultimate party red shade with a hint of pink and claims to suit all complexions even your hair colour won’t come in between you and this universal shade!

I really love the shade which is quite pigmented with a glossy finish. I was expecting this to be a full on red but surprisingly it’s not that vibrant making it suitable for wearing during the day too. The formula is really hydrating and I like that the colour can be built up. The only aspect which lets this down is the cardboard packaging the lipstick is housed in. Although it looks really cute it’s very child-like!

4. Lifestyle Items

The December box included a variety of lifestyle extras from a headband to adorable gift wrapping essentials.

First up is the pretty collection of masking tape, gift tags and a reel of cotton, the perfect assortment for wrapping up presents. Whilst I wasn’t able to make use of these during the Christmas period, the designs are not all festive focused which is great as I can use these for wrapping birthday presents instead and the remainder can always be used for next Christmas. The masking tape and gift tags both have a good variety of designs and there’s a generous amount too.

Up next is a stylish head band in a sand colour with subtle glittery strands of thread running through the wool, it’s the perfect chic essential to keep you warm this winter and I’ve already pack this for my trip to Amsterdam. They could of easily left this loose in the box but I love the little gift box which this came presented in it’s so cute!

 My Verdict

I adore this month’s edition from it’s chic presentation to the stylish and luxe contents within. There’s a great selection of beauty and lifestyle items from skin loving treats, a party lipstick, a generous assortment of adorable gift wrapping essentials and a winter head band. This edition is one of my favourites from My Little Box and as per every month the attention to detail, the intricate design and curated content is impressive which is something which this box never fails on.

My Little Box is full of charm and I love the surprise aspect as they do not release any spoilers. This is a box which I eagerly wait for each month and one which holds it’s own class and uniqueness.

This month’s box showcased brands such as Cowshed, L’Occitane and an item from their in-house My Little Beauty range. I particularly liked the Cowshed body lotion and the universal red lipstick. The lifestyle items complemented the December edit perfectly and I’m looking forward to putting my creativity to the test with the gift wrapping goodies.

This months My Little World Magazine was also good read and contained an interview feature with Fleur De Force,  some useful tutorials from gift wrapping to party make-up and even some mouthwatering recipe ideas.

My Little Cosy BoxNovember 2014
Price of the Box –  from £13.95 a month

www.mylittlebox.co.uk

The November 2014 My Little Box edition has landed from it’s home in France and this month features an all things cosy line up which includes adorable winter essentials to get you through the cold weather and a good selection of eye make-up perfect for the party season ahead. I’m not a fan of winter but I do love snuggling up in fluffy pyjamas and hugging a hot cup of tea.

My unveiling of last month’s box left me truly impressed and I was pretty confident that this edit certainly wasn’t going to disappoint and I wasn’t wrong. From it’s chic presentation to the stylish and luxe contents within, it really captures the cosy scene perfectly.

This box offers something very different compared to the other boxes and if their previous boxes are anything to go by you will certainly not be disappointed. It’s definitely a showstopper and one which is beautifully composed with their very own in-house illustrator Kanako.

This month’s cosy edition contains 5 items and includes a mixture of beauty products which is contained within a charming drawstring bag and also lifestyle items. Enclosed is the My Little World Magazine which is always a good read with useful beauty tips to mouth watering recipes.

1. Arcancil Star Liner Waterproof Eyeliner – Full Size RRP £5.50

I love black eyeliner, it’s a product I use on a daily basis and whilst I have many I was happy to receive one from a new brand.

This pencil combines the waterproof resistance with exceptional colour intensity. It is ideal for creating a smoky look or can also be used to draw a precise line and its waterproof formula makes it long lasting.

The pencil is very creamy and pigmented and is really easy to work with when creating a smokey eye look. I love the depth of the black which makes the eyes pop. This also worked well on the waterline and under the lower lash line.

2. Yves Rocher Eyeshadow – Full Size RRP £13.20

This is a creamy powder textured eyeshadow which is colour intensive and the coverage is adaptable to the desired effect with a lasting hold.

I received the shade Brun café mat which is a dark sultry brown shade in a matte finish. There are other colour variations which you could possibly receive from coffee browns to smokey greys. The eyeshadow comes in a sturdy palette along with a sponge tip applicator.

The powder blends extremely well and the shade is perfect for autumn/winter. I also like that this comes in a matte finish making it suitable for day and evening wear.

3.  My Little Beauty Volume and Care Mascara  – Full Size RRP £16.00

I think it’s pretty amazing that My Little Box also have their own beauty range which is called My Little Beauty.

Inside this months box is a full sized Volume and Care Mascara which plumps up the lashes whilst the infusion of beeswax, jojoba and sesame oil regenerates and nourishes.

This has a straight wand with thick bristles which capture the lashes effortlessly. The formula makes the lashes look fuller with a natural looking result without any clumping.

4. Lifestyle Items

This month’s box included 2 lifestyle items which really sets the cosy scene.

First up is the My Little Bouillotte by Tsumori Chisato who is a Japanese fashion designer known for her bright patterns and bold colors. She has exclusively designed this heat cushion for this months box which is pretty impressive. The cushion is simply warmed in the microwave for 20-30 seconds.  As well as its warming properties it’s also very adorable with it’s vibrant red material. I’ve not tried this yet but it’s the perfect companion for keeping you warm during the colder months.

Up next is a dinky little Espresso Mug printed with “How is your day gonna be?” and on the opposite side is an illustration by Kanako of a woman drinking expresso. I can’t believe how teeny the mug is, it’s utterly cute and not being an espresso drinker I may have to start!

 My Verdict

I adore this month’s edition from it’s chic presentation to the stylish and luxe contents within. There’s a great selection of cosy must-haves and make-up to spice up the cold winter days. It really amazes me how much love and passion goes into My Little Box. It’s been three months since they launched in the UK and to date they have succeeded in delivering fantastic edits which certainly exceed my expectations month on month.

As soon as you open the box it shouts out quality, class and all things chic. The attention to detail is very intricate and delicate and it’s certainly evident that a lot of effort and planning has goes into delivering each edit.  It’s uniqueness definitely stands out from the rest and their presentation is the prettiest I’ve seen. My Little Box is full of charm and I love the surprise aspect as they do not release any spoilers. This is a box which I eagerly wait for each month.

The box showcased brands such as Arcancil, Yves Rocher and an item from their in-house My Little Beauty range. I love all of the eye make up which can be used individually or together to create a classic smokey eye look.  The lifestyle items complemented the theme perfectly and I can’t wait to snuggle up with the heat cushion.

This months My Little World Magazine was also good read and contained some useful tips and tricks from messy braided buns to Autumn make-up. There’s even some mouthwatering recipe ideas.

I can’t wait for December’s edition which I’m hoping will have a festive theme.

From it’s chic presentation to the stylish and luxe contents within, it beautifully captures the work of Diane Von Furstenberg and her famous prints.

With fashion accessories, beauty products and other goodies created exclusively for you and based around a different theme every month, each box promises to delight their subscribers. They also produce their in house beauty products known as My Little Beauty.

This month’s DVF edition contains 5 items and includes a mixture of beauty products which is contained within a charming draw string bag and also lifestyle items. Enclosed is also the My Little World Magazine which see’s it’s first debut inside the UK box.

1. Keratase Laque Noir Hairspray – Travel Size 75ml

The Keratase fixing hairspray offers a long-lasting hold and provides a 48hr anti-humidity super shield with an exclusive blend of fixing polymers in a water-free formula. It’s extra strong hold is ideal for controlling volume or radically structured styles. As we approach the party season this is the perfect companion to control my unruly hair for the cold and wetter evenings ahead.

This good sized travel spray comes in 75ml.

2. L’occitane Vanilla Bouquet Hand Cream – Sample Size 10ml

I’m a big fan of  L’occitane, who’s products smell absolutely divine.Their distinct aroma’s can always be smelt when walking past their pretty dressed windows.

This highly concentrated hand cream which contains 20% shea butter helps to protect, nourish and soften the hands. It’s indulgent scent has sweet notes reminiscent of a vanilla flower.

I love the formula which is rich and when applied sinks into the skin without a trace of greasiness. My hands felt wonderfully soft.

3.  My Little Beauty Micellar Water  – Full Size 150ml

I think it’s pretty amazing that My Little Box also have their own beauty range which is called My Little Beauty.

This month see’s a full sized bottle of Micellar Water which gently removes make up and dirt and is infused with skin loving ingredients such as aloe vera for it’s softening properties and orange extract to smooth even the most sensitive skin.

I do love micellar water as it’s very effective at removing stubborn make-up and also freshens and brightens the skin.

4. Lifestyle Items

This month’s box included 2 lifestyle items which finished the box off perfectly.

First up is the DVF Print Scarf which comes designed in either a green, black or a red print from Diane Von Furstenberg’s  famous collection. The silky material is of great quality and can be used in multiple ways such as a head band or if you’re feeling creative the scarf can also be transformed into a bag or a shrug! There’s some great step by step video’s on their Instagram account. I can’t wait to use the scarf to brighten up some of my autumn attire.

Up next is a cute DVF lip-shaped brooch. The lips come from a cover which Diane Von Furstenberg did for Interview Magazine in 1976 and very naturally became the brand logo.

 My Verdict

I adore the October DVF edition from it’s chic presentation to the stylish and luxe contents within which beautifully captures the work of Diane Von Furstenberg and her famous prints. It really amazes me how much love and passion goes into My Little Box.

As soon as I opened the box it spelt out quality, class and all things chic. The attention to detail is very intricate and delicate and it’s certainly evident that a lot of effort and planning has gone into delivering this edit.  It’s uniqueness definitely stands out from the others and their presentation is the prettiest I’ve seen. My Little Box is full of charm and I love the surprise aspect as they do not release any spoilers. This is certainly a box which I eagerly wait for!

The box also showcased well-known beauty brands such as Keratase and L’occitane and an item from their in-house My Little Beauty Range. The lifestyle items complemented the collaboration perfectly and I can’t wait to use the scarf to brighten up some of my autumn attire.

This month also see’s the addition of the My Little World Magazine and contains articles from Diane Von Furstenberg and some useful tips and tricks. There’s even some mouthwatering recipe ideas.

There’s also some great offers inside the box for DVF,  Keratase and L’occitane.

I can’t wait for next month’s edition.

My Little Parisienne Box (September Edition)
Price of the Box –  from £13.95 a month
No of Products  – 6 items
www.mylittlebox.co.uk

I’m so excited to welcome the first UK edition of the September 2014 My Little Box. Since my unveiling of their previous box a few weeks ago I was truly impressed by everything which this box had to offer from the chic and cute presentation to the carefully selected products within the box.

I must admit I did have a sneaky peek at this month’s box and subscribed around two weeks ago and whilst it’s a bit late as we near the end of September I’ve definitely saved the best until last.

This box offers something very different compared to the other boxes and if their previous boxes are anything to go by you will certainly not be disappointed. It’s definitely a showstopper and one which is beautifully composed with their very own in-house illustrator Kanako.

This month’s theme, My Little Parisienne Box fits in perfectly with the first UK edition. The box contains 6 items and includes a mixture of beauty products which is contained within a charming draw string bag and within the box is also a few lifestyle items.

1. Laura Mercier Foundation Primer- Travel Size 30ml RRP £19.00

Laura Mercier has been busy this month as this is the second offering I have received of this primer, not that I’m complaining as I now have two which will last for the remainder of the year if not longer.

This foundation primer is oil free  and creates the perfect canvas for makeup application, especially for those with sensitive and oily skin. The soothing, lightweight, water based gel forms an even, invisible layer that acts as a buffer to outside elements, expertly holding foundation for longer wear and keeping cosmetics from being absorbed into the skin.

I use this primer religiously as a base before applying my foundation. If you have oily/combination skin it’s the perfect formula as it’s very light weight and doesn’t feel greasy. Whilst on, this definitely works hand in hand with the foundation and controls any oil production on the surface of the skin and creates a smooth canvas which keep’s my foundation looking great and flawless all day.

2. Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Dry Oil – Sample Size RRP £3.66

The brand Nuxe was born in Paris in 1990 and created by a graduate of the Paris Institute of Political Studies and holder of an MBA in Marketing & Finance, Aliza Jabès, an inspired female entrepreneur.

Nuxe’s philosophy is “Beauty by Nature” offering a unique combination of nature, performance and sensuality with high-quality, efficient products

Whilst I’ve heard of this brand I’ve not had the opportunity to try any of the Nuxe range and was happy to be introduced in the form of their award winning and cult favourite the Huile Prodigieuse Dry Oil.

This luxurious multi-purpose dry oil is made using six precious plant oils (Macadamia, Hazelnut, Borrage, Almond, Camellia and St. John’s Wort), and nourishes, repairs and softens skin and hair.

When applied it doesn’t feel greasy or oily, it goes on soft and smells divine pretty much like a field full of flowers in the Summer.

3.  My Little Beauty Stylo Lumiere Pen  – Full Size RRP £11.00

I think it’s pretty amazing that My Little Box also have their own beauty range which is called My Little Beauty.

This brush applicator pen is a complexion brightening product to give your skin an instant glow. The velvety texture is perfect for foundation fixes and can also be used as an eye shadow primer or as a boaster to brighten the complexion. If that’s not enough it’s waterproof too!

4. Lifestyle Items

This month’s box included 3 lifestyle items which finished the box off perfectly.

First up is  My Little Carnet which is a note book and on the first few pages is an introduction to My Little Box and their story which is really informative and gives you a good feel of the company.

Up next is a chic designed laptop case by their very own in-house illustrator Kanako. Unfortunately this didn’t fit my laptop despite trying to to squeeze it in a few times. Someone mentioned that this could be used as a hot water bottle cover which is a great idea so not all is lost!

Lastly is a pack of Parisienne themed stickers and these can be stuck onto your fridge, computer, phone or on a note book, the possibilities are endless!

 My Verdict

I’m extremely happy with the first UK edition of My Little Box. I find it amazing how so much love and passion has gone into this box from the attention to detail, the design and the contents. Their warming welcome was also was a lovely touch and certainly made you feel part of the My Little Box family.

As soon as I opened the box it spelt out quality, class and all things chic. The attention to detail is very intricate and delicate and it’s certainly evident that a lot of effort and planning has gone into delivering the UK version.  It’s uniqueness definitely stands out from the others and their presentation is the prettiest I’ve seen. My Little Box is full of charm and I love the surprise aspect as they do not release any spoilers. This is certainly a box I won’t be getting bored of!

Unfortunately the My Little World Magazine wasn’t available this month but it will be inside the box from October.

I can’t wait for next month’s edition.

I’m so excited to welcome My Little Box which has finally landed in the UK after it’s success in it’s home of France. Whilst this isn’t September’s Box I was kindly sent one of their previous boxes to share with my readers to give you a taster of what you could discover with this Parisian box. I can assure you My Little Box offers something very different compared to the other boxes and if their previous boxes are anything to go by you will certainly not be disappointed.

With fashion accessories, beauty products and other goodies created exclusively for you and based around a different theme every month, each box promises to delight their subscribers. They also produce their in house beauty products known as My Little Beauty.

The box I received was July’s Edition which was My Sunshine Box. This box is themed for the Summer month of July and contains an informative magazine, a sunglasses case which is simply adorable, the cutest head band and a charming drawstring bag containing three beauty products – Kerastase Cristalliste Shampoo, My little Beauty Mascara and Absolution L’Eau Soir et Matin which is a make up remover.

As soon as I opened the box it spelt out quality, class and all things chic. The attention to detail is very intricate and delicate from their presentation to the carefully selected products within the box. It’s the perfect Little Box and offers something very magical. It’s uniqueness is definitely a show stopper and their presentation is the prettiest I’ve seen. I am hoping that the UK version of My Little Box delivers the same quality and charm as the successful French box.
