The September edition features the brands Swell, Tabitha James Kraan and rahua – who said green beauty wasn’t luxurious!
1. Swell Ultimate Volume Masque – Travel Size 50ml. RRP £10.00
If your hair is on the finer side of the spectrum and needs a little oomph this masque claims to add volume to your hair without weighing it down whilst also nourishing and moisturizing the hair to leave your hair looking smooth and shiny.
The masque contains ingredients that are formulated to add volume to your hair and to give you thick, beautiful locks.
2. Tabitha James Kraan Organic Hair Cleanser – Travel Size 60ml RRP £9.00
With luxury at the forefront, Tabitha James Kraan has been pioneering Organic Hairdressing for nearly 20 years and her collection of haircare products are infused with the purest natural ingredients whose properties nourish, enhance and protect – naturally and organically & made in England.
The Organic hair cleanser restores hair and scalp health with a revolutionary mild formulation that nourishes and protects your hair whilst delivering incredible shine and body without stripping any goodness. The ingredients are pretty impressive too and include certified organic oats, coconut, aloe vera and essential oils of neroli, tea tree, tangerine, lavender, myrrh and bergamot.
3. Tabitha James Kraan Organic 4 in 1 Conditioner – Travel Size 60ml RRP £9.00
This lightweight Multi-usage miracle conditioner can be used traditionally, as a leave-in treatment, a nourishing scalp cream and a texturise & curl styling cream.
Just like the Hair Cleanser this also boasts a beautiful blend of ingredients such as certified organic rosehip oil, argan oil, coconut oil and essential oils of neroli, tangerine, bergamot and myrrh.
I’m really looking forward to trying out this collection from Tabitha James Kraan and I love that both of the samples have a pump dispenser, ideal for getting just the right amount without any wastage.
4. rahua Samples
When it comes to luxury, rahua really do steal the show and whilst the price tag might be a little dissuasive their high-end products are formulated with 100% natural and certified organic ingredients native to the Amazon rainforest. There’s a generous mix of samples giving you the perfect opportunity to try out the brand.
The rahua Shampoo (sachet sample 12ml) is 100% natural, organic to create and maintain healthy, bouncy and lustrous hair. It works for all hair types and is especially effective for color-treated hair. Derived from coconut oil it cleanses the hair gently while the rahua oil molecules penetrate deep into the hair shaft, strengthening and fortifying weak, damaged strands.
I was super impressed with how clean this made my hair feel. The scent is a little questionable but if you can get past that then this is a great product.
The rahua Conditioner (sachet sample 10ml) is from the same collection as the shampoo and is a double-duty product which works as both a conditioner and a medium hold styling cream. This conditioner contains aloe which moisturises and regenerates hair and Rice Bran Wax which gives hair hold for style durability.
At first I was little apprehensive that this would leave my hair greasy due to the rich and creamy texture but surprisingly it didn’t weigh my hair down or make it look oily. This undoubtedly left my hair silky, much more manageable and created the perfect base for a smooth blow dry.
Inside the box you can also expect to find the rahua Finishing Treatment (sachet sample 5ml) and the rahua Cream Wax (sachet sample 5ml).
From what I’ve tried so far the shampoo cleans really well and the conditioner definitely provides amazing moisture and shine. If you’re looking for a luxury hair care product or simply want to treat yourself then rahua is definitely worth a try.
Naturisimo to date have created some great themed boxes giving you an opportunity to really discover the beauty of organic and natural brands that the industry has to offer. The Haircare Heroes edition is definitely one my favourites as it covers all bases and showcases a selection of luxurious brands. As well as targeting some of my own hair concerns I also love that the products are completely safe and friendly to use on my hair extensions, something I’ve been meaning to look into so thanks to Naturisimo I think I might just find the perfect duo!
Compared to previous months there’s quite a few sample sachets but the remainder are generously sized so whilst it seems less value for money the box is actually worth £34.00.
