For those who managed to get your hands on the *September Cohorted Beauty Box are in for a real treat as it’s definitely one of their best editions to date. Packed with high end and lust worthy products from brands we all love and know they’ve gone above and beyond curating a showstopping line up which will leave you beaming from ear to ear, I’m so smitten!

The September edition features lots of exciting discoveries from theBalm, Nars, Gucci and Molton Brown, all of which are beautifully presented inside their signature black box secured with an organza ribbon giving it a very luxurious look and feel.

1. theBalm Nude Tude Eyeshadow Palette – Full Size RRP £35.00

One of the many showstoppers inside this month’s edition is the Nude Tude palette by the theBalm which I’ve been lusting after for quite some time so it was such a lovely surprise to see this inside.

The outer packaging has a very vintage boudoir feel which is carried throughout the palette itself. Whilst this may not be to everyone’s taste, I love the fun and slightly naughty artwork!

Inside there’s a dual ended brush (eyeliner and shadow brush) and a very good sized mirror. The palette consists of 12 neutral shades ranging from cool to warm tones, from matte to shimmer finishes.

There are a variety of looks which can be created with this palette especially if you love nude/neutral looks. Overall, this palette turned out even better than what I had hoped, it has a great range of shades and the darker shades are perfect for lining the eyes too, the black is surprisingly very pigmented as are the rest of the shades.

2. Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in “Walkyrie” – Full Size RRP £19.00

Eeek! I’m seriously obsessed with this lip pencil in the shade Walkyrie, the colour is perfect for autumn, it’s a lovely 90’s brown toned shade which is really on trend too.

With a very velvety feel this pencil is light weight with a beautiful creamy formula which glides onto the lips effortless and whilst it’s not that hydrating it doesn’t leave my lips dry once it starts to wear off unlike other matte lipsticks I’ve tried.

If you love autumn shades Walkyrie is one of those colours that’s so easy to pull off making it suitable for day and evening wear.

3. Gucci Premier Shower Gel – Travel Size 50ml RRP £7.50

Made up of a gentle cleansing base together with hydrating ingredients, the Gucci Premiere shower gel is laced with orange blossom, white flowers, musk and leather.

I’m a big fan of floral scents and judging by the smell this will definitely luxe up your shower, perfect if your off out for the evening.

4. Molton Brown Seamoss Bath and Shower Gel – Travel Size RRP £10.00

This revitalising shower gel by Molton Brown has a pure ozonic aroma and is infused with body-boosting seaweed and horse chestnut extracts. It improves skin texture, is an excellent antidote to stress and fatigue, and leaves your mind and senses energised. I love anything which claims to recharge body and mind especially after a stressful day at work so I very much welcome this!

5. theBalm Put a Lid on it Eyelid Primer – Sample Size 3.7ml Worth £6.00

Last but not least is sample of thebalm’s Eyelid Primer which makes the perfect pairing with the palette. The primer has a gel-like consistency with a light nude tint to it, which becomes invisible once you smooth it out over the lid. The finish is matte and slightly powdery and act’s as a great base for amplifying the eyeshadow. It’s not the best primer I’ve tried in terms of longevity but nonetheless a great opportunity to try out another formula.

My Verdict

Cohorted to date have certainly marketed themselves as a company dedicated to wow-ing their customers and without a doubt this month’s edition is truly AH-mazing to a point where I think it’s their best ever edition yet. From make up to bath and shower treats they’ve showcased an amazing line up of high end brands with everything being so spot on for me, I absolutely adore everything and the selection itself is perfect for autumn/winter. The value as always is incredible and features two full sized products alongside three good size samples totalling £71.50.

If you lust over premium and high end brands or simply want a guilt-free treat each month the Cohorted Beauty Box really is great for that. Each month the box can be purchased as a one off transaction so there’s no subscription involved giving you full control and flexibility to purchase as and when you want to.

In other news Cohorted will be launching their white edition box in October so I’ll be sure to keep you all updated as and when they release more information.
