If you’ve been missing your K-beauty fix since Memebox closed its doors to the UK then you’ll love the newly launched *Kawaii Panda Box, a box you can purchase monthly as a one off providing you with the cutest and most effective cosmetics and skincare from their suppliers in Korea. Every monthly edition will contain 5 beauty and skincare products from both well-known and emerging brands to help you look and feel amazing. I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s been eagerly waiting for a UK based K-beauty beauty box and whilst there’s a couple of companies who do still ship to the UK I feel that little more confident knowing that my box of goodies will arrive hassle-free without any custom charges.

The September Kawaii Panda line up features an impressive beauty overhaul with a mixture of skin and bodycare and boasts 6 full sized products showcasing Korean brands we all love and know as well as a couple of new discoveries too.

1. Etude House Perfect Multi Cleansing Foam – Full Size 170ml RRP £6.00

This good sized multi-action 3 in 1 facial foam wash promises to creates a rich & soft lather to thoroughly remove makeup, sun cream & impurities. It’s formulated with green tea extract to seal in moisture after cleansing leaving the skin clean, fresh and comfortable and sounds perfect for those with oily skin.

2. Secret Key 24k Gold Premium Face Cream – Full Size 50g RRP £7.89

The most interesting product amongst the line up is the Secret Key 24 Gold Premium Face Cream. This cream keeps the skin moist, clear and healthy and contains 24k gold components whilst also boasting whitening and anti-wrinkle benefits.

3. Tony Moly Bamboo Fresh Water Soothing Mist – Full Size RRP £5.63

Although facial mists are commonly used during the summer I tend to use them during the winter too especially at work when the central heating sucks all the life out of my skin so I was delighted to see this inside the box.

Shaped as bamboo shoot this facial mist contains 94% pure natural Damyang bamboo water full of amino acids and 18 different kinds of minerals. Its cooling properties is especially good for soothing skin overexposed to the sun but can also be used to refresh the skin. It’s suitable for all skin types including those who have sensitive skin.

4. Tony Moly Kiss Kiss Lip Scrub – Full Size RRP £6.60

The Tony Moly Kiss Kiss Lip Scrub comes in a cute little pink lip-shaped plastic container. The scrub has a creamy texture with tiny granules which gently exfoliate the lips. After scrubbing, my lips felt amazingly soft and plump, it’s the perfect addition for winter especially if you suffer from dry lips.

5. Mamonde Jasmine Honey Sleeping Mask – Full Size RRP £8.68

With many steps within the Korean skincare regime (10 to be precise!) a sleeping mask is the very last. The Mamonde Jasmine Honey Sleeping Mask promises brightening effects to maintain transparent and bright skin whilst your sleep.

There’s a great guide via Kawaii Panda’s website which goes through each step http://www.kawaiipanda.co.uk/skincare.html

6. Innisfree Jeju Fig Hand Cream – Full Size 30ml RRP £2.08

For those of you who read my posts regularly will know that I’m a sucker for a hand cream. I don’t recall receiving any lately so I was pleased to see one from Innisfree. I love the cute design on the tube which is really eye catching however the strong scent kind of puts me off which is a shame as I love the lightness of the formula which absorbs really well without leaving your hands feeling greasy.

My Verdict

If you love K-Beauty then the Kawaii Panda Box is a great, affordable concept with a touch of cuteness delivering a wide array of popular Korean brands straight to your door without committing to a monthly subscription. I’m really impressed with this month’s edition which not only covers a good area of beauty but also includes a very generous amount of products, all of which are full sized so it’s definitely excellent value for money. There’s quite a few highlights this month and I love that they’ve added some cute packaged products too it really adds to the appeal of this box.

If you love discovering the latest and greatest from korean brands which aren’t easy to get hold of in the UK then this box is great for that and being UK based you don’t have to worry about any custom charges.

There’s two days left to order the October Box which will be centered around fruit and veg and 10 lucky people will also receive a Elizavecca bubble clay mask.
