A new month means new beauty treats and trends within the ever evolving Love Me Beauty Boutique. Last month saw their newly launched website go live as well as changes to the actual concept itself which means you can now add on extra credit packages as well as the opportunity to treat yourself all month long! This post rounds up some of the lovely new additions which you can expect to see inside this month’s boutique.
October showcases a selection of new arrivals from Lottie London, Lord & Berry, Ciate, Comfort Zone and Monu alongside a eyelash curler from Love Me Beauty’s very own collection. There’s a good balance of beauty this month including some products from previous months so whether you love make-up, nails, skincare or beauty tools there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Each month the Love Me Beauty membership is worth 60 credits and you simply chose the items you want inside your box from a selection of products ranging from hair, body, nails, skincare and make-up with majority of the items being full sized or travel sized.
1. Monu Illuminating Primer – (10 credits) Travel Size 25ml
I’ve received this inside another beauty box this year and absolutely loved it so I’m pleased to be reacquainted again! Monu is an ethical skincare brand, they are against animal testing and their products contain no synthetic perfumes or colours. This Illuminating Primer SPF 15 contains zinc oxide for sun protection, plus antioxidant vitamin E, and is paraben free.
The Monu Illuminating Primer which contains SPF 15 comes fragranced with a gentle scent and is suitable for all skin types. It contains illuminating, light reflecting particles to give the face a radiant and soft-focus finish. This does need to be massaged into the skin very well otherwise it will leave white traces due to the thick formula, but despite this I really love it. Not only does it help protect against UV damage, it also gives the skin a really nice dewy glow without making it look greasy on my oily skin, in fact it counter-acted the usual shine. It also grips foundation giving you a smoot canvas and a long lasting finish which keeps your make up looking fresh and intact for most of the day.
2. Comfort Zone Sublime Skin Serum – (10 credits) Travel Size 8ml
Comfort Zone isn’t a brand I’m come across before but they hail from Italy and their collection of innovative skincare contains a lot of high-end ingredients.
This visible Rejuvenating Serum reinforces the biological skin equilibrium, retrieves softness and and elasticity with visible skin compactness and luminosity. The 30ml full size is a whopping £88.00 so this 8ml sample is quite generous!
3. Lord & Berry Twistick Sheer Lipstick in “Shut up”- (20 credits) RRP £8.00
With 10 shades of the Lord & Berry Twistick Sheer Lipstick available within the boutique you’ll be spoilt for choice this month! From reds, pinks to nude shades there’s something for everyone. “Shut up” is a gorgeous berry pink which gives a pretty wash of colour and although the formula is a little more sheer than a lipstick it still packs a punch.
Not to be an enabler but it’s definitely worth snapping up a few of these whilst there still available!
4. Lottie London Nail Varnish – (10 credit) Full Size RRP £4.99
Whilst my nail polish collection is growing at somewhat of a frightening rate, I always welcome a new discovery and this month you can expect to see four different shades from Lottie London, a colourful and youthful beauty brand.
Icon-oholic is a beautiful classic red which will effortlessly brighten up any outfit.
5. Ciate Mini Nail Varnish – (10 credits) – Travel Size
Another nail varnish brand featured this month is Ciate and there’s a few mini sized bottles which are great for traveling.
Pom Pom is a bright red which leans more towards a coral shade.
6. Love Me Beauty Eyelash Curler – (10 credits)
As well as the beauty products Love Me Beauty have created a collection of their very own branded beauty tools, majority of which have sold out now but the newly launched eyelash curler as well as the nail file is still up for grabs.
My Verdict
This month’s boutique showcases another great line up of top-to-toe treats from an array of established brands alongside a few new discoveries with something for every beauty enthusiast. Whether you love makeup, skincare, nails, beauty tools or a little bit of everything Love Me Beauty has all areas covered this month. The products are really generous in size too and when you take some of the RRP’s into account its exceptional value for money. A good collection of make up from Caitlyn Cosmetics has just hit the boutique too!
