So whilst I was pretty impressed with my first ever Pink Parcel last month I’m truly blown away by the *October edition which not only features a showstopping line up they’ve also teamed up with Coopafeel, a charity who’s objective is to to stamp out late detection of breast cancer by raising awareness. There’s no such thing as a bad period day when Pink Parcel are involved as they’re trying to change that by delivering your preferred monthly essentials and a really good mix of surprises from beauty to lifestyle to make that time of the month a little more exciting and bearable. The actual size of the box is huge and inside it’s brimmed to the top with everything you could possibly need for an equipped and happy period, it’s impressive and definitely has you covered from the first day to even the last and all the uncanny stuff which happens in between too! It’s a monthly gift that you’ll definitely want to keep and the best bit its great value for money too. If you need cheering up during that dreaded time of the month then Pink Parcel is definitely great for that.

Pink Parcel is a subscription service for your monthly cycle who send you what you need, right when you need it as well as some lovely treats to brighten up those days of the month. With three dispatch dates to choose from, Pink Parcel literally take care of everything and will ship your box before your period is due. If you’re worried about flows and absorbances, they have that covered too as you can choose your preferred brand as well as the type of sanitary items to suit your flow making it completely bespoke to your needs.

Upon opening the box it was brimmed to the top and I love that everything’s organised discreetly within little boxes usefully labelled so you know exactly what’s inside.

1. Period Essentials

No matter what your cycle length is the amount of sanitary items and liners included within the box is impressive. You can also choose between receiving pads or tampons from a good selection of brands.

I was particularly happy to see popular brands on board such as Tampax, Always and Body Form. If you’re anything like me then this really helps avoid last-minute runs to the supermarket! There’s also a useful drawstring pouch which you can slip into your handbag for carrying your monthly essentials when you’re on the go too.

2. SASS Intimate Refreshing Mist – Full Size 30ml RRP £8.00

With Pink Parcel’s new revamped concept, all subscribers will receive a feminine hygiene product each month and this edition includes a full sized Refreshing Mist from SASS.

I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s more of stickler when it comes to periods and good hygiene so this handy sized mist will definitely come in useful. The mist neutralises odour with a crisp fragrance to refresh you anytime, anywhere.

3. The Beauty Treats – 7 Items

If you love discovering beauty products then you’ll love this month’s jam packed edition, it impressively covers a good area of beauty with a line up that includes key essentials for everyday use as well some additional treats such a make up and nail varnish.

The MUA palettes are famed for their low price point, great colour range and good quality so I was excited to see their Amour Eye and Face Palette (full size RRP £5.00) which contains 10 powder eyeshadows & 2 cream metallic shades. I love multi-purpose products and this palette effortlessly creates anything from an understated and pretty day time look, to a dramatic evening look.

With my nail varnish collection growing at a frightening rate I never say no to another and the Revlon Nail Varnish in Grey Suede (Full Size RRP £6.49) is a light creamy taupe perfect for those who want a more natural look and this definitely steps up to the job as it’s chic but subtle and goes with every outfit!

The Mad Beauty Mini Nail Files (RRP £0.99) not only do they look the part but they make great travel and handbag companions, I love the retro design, so cute!

Inside this month’s edition you can expect to see the Amie Purifying Facial Wash and a Matte Finish Moisturiser Duo (Sample Size 10ml each), perfect for those who do suffer from oily skin and breakouts during the time of the month.

With more and more brands moving towards friendlier alternatives, the bandzee Hair Ties (RRP £5.95)  are soft, stretchy ‘no dent’ hair ties that hold ponytails up tight, but still leave the hair fresh and kink-free and are available in a wide selection of colours and patterns and make pretty trendy bracelets too! They’ve also launched their very own monthly subscription box, for more information click here.

This month Pink Parcel have featured a Moisturising Hand Sanitiser (Full Size) from their very own collection and I very much welcome this handbag beauty staple which always comes in useful whether you’re on the go or in the office! This is anything but boring, I love the scent and the formula doesn’t leave your hands parched and sticky unlike other santisers, this is nourishing and sweetly scented for a luxe freshen up.

4. Tea and Chocolate Treats – 2 items

As well as the beauty line up you can also expect to see a tea bag sachet and bar of chocolate from both emerging brands to well-known brands.

This month’s goodies include an indulgent Chocolate Flake Tea from Teapigs and a OMBAR Coco Mylk Chocolate Bar (35g).

5. Mad Beauty Pop Heart Hand Warmer – RRP £4.99

Last but not least is an adorable and quirky Heart Hand Warmer by Mad Beauty which magically warms up once you pop the little coin inside.

6. Coppafeel Items

Pink Parcel have partnered with Coppafeel this month, there’s some handy information to ensure we are all more breast aware by delivering vital information such symptoms and signs.  The items make great additions inside this month’s box.

My Verdict

It’s no surprise that Pink Parcel has very quickly become a box that I can’t wait to get my hands on and with this being my second edition I’ve fallen head over heels. In terms of what they’re trying to achieve they’ve got the concept spot on and this is where Pink Parcel really shines and stands out. With another jam-packed edition, this month’s showstopping line up ticks all the boxes for me – there’s lots of new and exciting discoveries, it covers a good area of beauty and lifestyle with everything being very useable, I don’t think there’s anything I didn’t like which is quite novel!

If you’re looking for a true treat which spoils you rotten when you need it the most Pink Parcel definitely comes out on top and has you completely covered. It’s a monthly gift that you’ll definitely want to keep and it comes in at such a steal of a price.

I can’t wait to see their next edition, hurry up November!
