If you’ve been missing your K-beauty fix since Memebox closed its doors to the UK then you’ll love the newly launched *Kawaii Panda Box, a box you can purchase monthly as a one off providing you with the cutest and most effective cosmetics and skincare from their suppliers in Korea. Every monthly edition will contain 5 beauty and skincare products from both well-known and emerging brands to help you look and feel amazing. I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s been eagerly waiting for a UK based K-beauty beauty box and whilst there’s a couple of companies who do still ship to the UK I feel that little more confident knowing that my box of goodies will arrive hassle-free without any custom charges.

The October Kawaii Panda Beauty Box is centered around fruit and veg and I’m delighted to report they’ve stuck to the theme throughout with another impressive line up featuring a mixture of skin and body care products alongside a make up treat too. The box features brands we all love and know and includes five full sized products.

1. Holika Holika Avocado Shower Gel – Full Size 240ml RRP £4.69

I’m a sucker for cute packaging and this avocado shaped shower gel is so adorable and definitely one of my favourites from the line-up.

Design aside the formula is just as loveable and contains six kinds of flower ingredients to hydrate the skin. I love the scent, it’s really refreshing and the bottle itself makes a lovely show piece in the bathroom!

2. Skinfood Black Pomegranate Toner  – Full Size 180ml RRP £11.22

I didn’t even know that Black Pomegranate existed until now but like other fruits it’s also high in antioxidants which really benefits the skin. I love pomegranate so I knew that I would automatically fall in love with this. The toner comes inside a beautiful glass bottle and the scent alone is absolutely gorgeous. At first it’s a little sticky but it soon settled and felt slightly more heavier than my usual toner. I’ll give this a few more days more before I decide on whether I like it or not.

3. Tony Moly Dalcom Gloss – Full Size RRP £3.56

How cute is this lip gloss? The Dalcom gloss by Tony Moly is a cross between a tint and a gloss, it’s very tomato scented but I love the formula which doesn’t feel tacky or sticky on the lips.

4. Secret Key Lemon D’Toc Peeling Gel – Full Size RRP £6.42

This Peeling gel is one of Secret Key’s best sellers so it was great to see this within the line-up this month. The gel works to remove dead skin cells and care for pores while maintaining moisture on the skin leaving it feeling fresh and smooth with an impressive list of ingredients such as lemon extract, Hibiscus, Aloe Vera Leaf Extract, Witch Hazel and Camomile. This product is also 5-free which means it contains no parabens, mineral oil, Benzophenone, phenoxyethanol, and artificial colouring.

I’ve not tried this type of cleanser before so I’m looking forward to giving this a go over the weekend.

5. The Face Shop Handmade Grape Soap – Full Size RRP £2.27

The Face Shop Handmade Grape Soap can be used for both the face and body, and with it’s low pH level it’s suitable for all skin types including those with sensitive skin.

This isn’t something I would use on my face as I prefer gel type cleansers but I’ll definitely use this as a body soap.

My Verdict

If you love K-Beauty then the Kawaii Panda Box is a great, affordable concept with a touch of cuteness delivering a wide array of popular Korean brands straight to your door without committing to a monthly subscription. I’m really impressed with this month’s edition which not only covers a good area of beauty but they’ve also stuck to the theme throughout with everything being spot on. Something which really amazes me about this box is that it allows me to discover a variety of different products from popular Korean brands and so far there’s been some really interesting products on board. In terms of value, the contents always exceed the price of the box and with all the products being full size you’ll be really able judge whether you like them or not. The cherry on the cake is the inclusion of the cute packaged products, it really adds to the appeal of this box for me.

If you love discovering the latest and greatest from Korean brands which aren’t easy to get hold of in the UK then this box is great for that and being UK based you don’t have to worry about any custom charges.

The November Kawaii Panda Box is available now and will be centered around make-up.
