Since Cohorted launched their ever so popular beauty box they’ve gone above and beyond delivering something that little more luxe to their customers and last month they stepped it up a gear by launching a monthly beauty subscription box as well as their quarterly fragrance box (The White Edition). Today’s post unveils their first ever *November White Edition so if you’re perfume obsessed like me it’s definitely got the appeal factor especially if you’re not loyal to just the one scent! The box showcases scents from both high-end and unique perfumers, however if you stick to a certain type of fragrance this could potentially be a little hit or miss, but that being said there is a good variety, all of which are seasonally appropriate and the value is phenomenal so it’s definitely worth trying.

The November edition features one full sized perfume from Guerlain and the remainder are adorable travel sizes from Versace, Boucheron and Annick Goutal. Inside the box you can also expect to find an information booklet which gives a detailed overview of the brands and the scents, all of which are presented inside a sleek white signature box giving it a very luxurious look and feel.

1. Guerlain Shalimar Parfum Initial – Full Size 100ml RRP £94.50

Shalimar, a perfume inspired by a love story of Shah Jahangir and his wife, Mumtaz Majal who built the Taj Mahal in her honour. The fragrance has been named after the Gardens of Shalimar which was beloved by his wife.

Whether the story is true or not, the magic of Shalimar is indisputable and it starts off with the mysterious design of the beautiful bottle right through to the oriental fragrance, although it won’t be to everyone’s taste.

This is a very bold and somewhat sexy smelling perfume which is made up of some beautiful notes such as jasmine , iris, rose, as well as lemon and bergamot and whilst it’s got that mysterious side it was just too strong compared to what I usually go for. I love the whole concept of Shalimar, I wanted to love the fragrance… but unfortunately it just didn’t hit the right notes for me.

2.  Versace Crystal Noir – Mini Bottle 5ml. Worth £15.00

Versace is easily one of the most famous design houses in the world so I was delighted to see their Crystal Noir Perfume.

The scent is dark and sultry with a slightly spicy opening dominated by an angelic presence of white flowers. The bottle mirrors the scent’s sophisticated sexiness, with an elegant base bottle topped by a smoky crystal, it’s so pretty!

I think this is a great fragrance for the evenings especially if you want to amp it up a bit with your sexy side!

3. Boucheron Place Vendome Eau De Toilette Mini Bottle 4.5ml. Worth £10.00

Boucheron, who are popularly known for their exquisite jewellery also have a collection of fragrances and this month’s edition features Place Vendôme which is light and delicate with an excellent balance of blossoming flowers and sweetness without being overpowering.

It effortlessly goes well with many different moods and it’s the kind of fragrance which is suitable for both day and evening wear. I really like it, and the bottle….well it’s a piece of art!

4.  Annick Goutal Paris Grand Amour – Sample Vial 1.75ml

I love my floral scents and this smells just like a mixed bouquet making it quite difficult to pinpoint the actual notes but the daintiness and elegance reminds me of spring.

My Verdict

Cohorted’s first ever White Edition is without a doubt impressive, luxurious and showcases an assortment of high-end and unique perfumers giving you the perfect opportunity to discover some interesting and exciting perfumes.  I’m a perfume obsessive so this is definitely a concept which appeals to me and something that I very much welcome but that being said if you’re particular about your fragrances the inclusion of just the one full sized perfume could potentially be hit or miss for some. In terms of the selection I think there’s something for everyone’s nose and their careful selection of picks is spot on for autumn/winter.

Overall I’m really impressed, the value is truly phenomenal and whilst some of the samples are small there’s enough of each one giving you plenty of time to decide which one(s) you like best and the bottles themselves are beautiful.

If you love your fragrances, want to find your signature scent or want to discover more from high end and luxurious brands this box is the perfect destination.

You can sign up to the White Edition which is released quaterly via www.cohorted.co.uk
