Not to give anyone the frighteners, but there’s only six Friday’s left until Christmas and in the run up, Naturisimo have just launched their Make Up Discovery Box, a collective of make-up and skincare from popular green brands for all of your festive needs and will leave you beaming like shining star! With 3 full sized products and the remainder being samples it’s another impressive edition and as always they’ve stuck to the theme throughout, something which always ticks the boxes for me.
For those of you who don’t want to commit to a subscription, Naturisimo have launched their new beauty box concept offering a themed curation each month that you can buy as a one off for only £9.95 and contains a strictly natural and organic beauty line up with the added bonus of being able to see the contents before you purchase.
The November edition features the brands Bellapierre, Living Nature, Lily Lolo, Vapour Organic, Caudalie and Madara.
1. Living Nature Natural Eye Pencil – Full Size. RRP £14.50
I’ve tried quite a few skincare products from Living Nature in the past so very much welcomed being introduced to their Natural Eyeliner, something which appeals to me being a contact lense wearer.
There’s two variations this month so you’ll either receive the shade Midnight or River Stone. I received Midnight, a super black and smooth textured pencil which glides onto the waterline effortlessly due to the vegetable waxes. Some natural eyeliners I’ve tried in the past transfer under the eye but this one doesn’t as much, I did notice very slight wear after 10-12 hours but I’m so ok with that!
2. Lily Lolo Loose Mineral Eye Shadow – Full Size. RRP £5.99
This loose mineral eyeshadow in the shade Pink Champagne gives a soft sweep of pink with a high shimmer finish. The shadow has a smooth texture and has a very fine shimmer adding a beautiful natural sheen which blends well with other shades too.
3. Bellapierre Lipstick – Full Size. RRP £15.99
Bellápierre is a brand that focus on natural mineral makeup and have a whole range of products that would be suitable for a majority of people and this month you can expect to find a very wearable lipstick in the shade Catwalk.
Catwalk is a semi matte soft pink with a hint of coral that effortlessly warms up the complexion and the natural colour is great for every day wear. Formulated with minerals and waxes, the lipstick feels smooth and the moisturising formula doesn’t my leave lips craving for moisture.
4. Vapour Organic Stratus Soft Focus Skin Perfector – Sample Size
The Stratus Soft Focus Instant Skin Perfector is a cream textured 3 in 1 product that moisturisers, primes and is a no colour foundation making it suitable for all skin tones.
My first impressions despite it being suitable for oily skin, is it felt quite oily but magically the texture transforms into a satin finish. It’s infused with lots of lovely organic ingredients which really help to nourish the skin and the light reflective technology helps to brighten the skin and disguise imperfections, perfect for an instant boost during the winter months where skin can become dull and dry. Vapour Organic is definitely a brand I’m interesting in getting to know better!
5. Caudalie Vinoperfect Tinted Moisturiser Duo sample – Sachet Samples
Ideal for a bit of colour and a glow to your skin, this oil-free, hydrating SPF20 moisturiser diminishes skin concerns, tightens the pores, reduces excess sebum, decreases imperfections, corrects spots, and leaves the complexion even and radiant.
I received the Caudaline Vinoperfect Tinted Moisturiser inside another beauty box this year but the shade was a little light for my skin so I’m delighted to see two different shades inside this month’s box, fingers crossed I find the perfect near match!
6. Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum – Sachet Sample
Being oily skinned, I much prefer serums as opposed to heavy duty moisturisers and the Vinoperfect Radiance Serum by Caudalie is something I’ve tried previously and loved.
The Serum promises to creates a radiant complexion, corrects dark spots and prevents them from reappearing making the skin evened out and more radiant. Its oil-free formula is suitable for all skin types too.
7. Madara Micellar Water – Sachet Sample
Last but not least and really makes the box complete is a sample of Madara’s Micellar Water. It’s been featured previously but nonetheless this all-in-one, no-rinse cleansing is ideal for daily use and promises to remove make-up and impurities, balances and hydrates even sensitive skin in one single step. Based on moisturising aloe vera, skinquenching hyaluronic acid and calming Northern peony.
My Verdict
The Naturisimo Make up Discovery Box has been curated to perfection and features a solid line up of make-up and skincare treats striking the perfect balance to get you looking you’re very best for the festive period. As always they’ve stuck to the theme throughout and with three full sized products and a generous mix of samples its great value for money with everything being very usable. Make up shades are really tough to get right especially when you’re catering for the masses but this is where this edition really shines as they’ve included a really versatile range which anyone can pull off.
Again, they’ve focused on all elements with an assortment of natural, organic and cruelty-free products from a collective of both well known and emerging brands, something which never disappoints.
Naturisimo to date have created some great themed boxes giving you an opportunity to really discover the beauty of organic and natural brands that the industry has to offer.
