Inside the box you can also expect to find information cards for each product with a detailed overview as well as some perfume blotters too so you’re pretty much all set!

1.   Maison Francis Kurkdijan Oud Satin Mood – Sample Vial 2ml

Oud Satin Mood by Maison Francis Kurkdjian is an Oriental Woody fragrance for both women and men. Launched in 2015. the fragrance features agarwood (oud), bulgarian rose, benzoin, turkish rose, violet and vanilla.

I love the sweetness and the hint of flowers but the real star of the show is the oud which makes this such an interesting scent.

2.   Jean Patou Joy  –  Sample Vial 1.5ml

Jean Patou Joy is a classic, fresh floral fragrance, which represents a tribute to the jasmine flower. The scent opens with notes of jasmine, may rose and Bulgarian rose oil, before revealing a rich bouquet of ylang ylang, tuberose, jasmine de may and musk. Joy’s opulent scent represents timeless and refined beauty.

With plentiful amounts of jasmine and red rose, this is such a classy, elegant perfume and most definitely feminine but it’s a little overpowering for me but one thing that does stand out is the longevity.

3.   Chloé Eau de Toilette   –  Sample Vial 1.2ml

Chloe is one of those perfumes that is hard not to fall in love with. It has a nice sweet scent that is really fresh and feminine making it ideal for the day, but also appropriate for evenings too. With notes of pink peony, freesia, lychee, magnolia flower, lily of the valley, rose, cedar wood, amber and honey it’s classy, girly and definitely a perfume that will please floral fans.

4.   Miller Harris La Fumée  – Sample Vial 2ml

The hypnotic scent of La Fumee is made up of dry and sensual woods, alongside a heady swirl of incense. Exotic notes from faraway places make up the centrepiece of the perfume: cardamom from Guatemala and Egyptian cumin are combined with elemi from the Philippines and incense from the Yemen.

This smoky incense of woods and birch alongside a citrus-like aroma makes this is a very unisex scent with lots of character. The scent is rich and exotic although it’s a little overpowering to wear during the day but perfect for the evenings.

5.   Flower by Kenzo L’Elixir  –  Sample Vial 1ml

I have to admit this is definitely my kind of fragrance!  It starts off with sweet and fruity notes of mandarin and raspberry before evolving into the floral heart of bulgarian rose and orange blossom.  The base has notes of bourbon vanilla that makes me feel all cosy when I wear it so it’s the perfect candidate for the winter months and the longevity is pretty amazing too!

Flower by Kenzo L’Elixir is by far my favourite from the line-up, it’s one of those scents that will have you coming back for more.

6.   Creed Royal Mayfair  – 2ml eau de parfum

Royal Mayfair by Creed is a Floral Fruity Gourmand fragrance for both women and men and is a new fragrance which launched this year. Top notes are gin, lime and pine tree; middle note is rose; base notes are orange, cedar and eucalyptus.

I really wasn’t expecting to like this but the opening of mild eucalyptus soon joined by pine, gin and cedar is quite simply a breath of fresh air!

7.   Timothy Han Editions On The Road  – 2ml eau de parfum

London-based niche line Timothy Han Edition Perfumes has introduced On the Road, a new fragrance inspired by the Jack Kerouac novel.

It begins with smoky notes of benzoin and birch reminiscent of the hot asphalt and grittiness of New York City. Punctuated by forays into tobacco filled bars where a new era in music is being defined by the Jazz greats, our journey takes us through the openness of the dusty cornfields of a Mid-Western America and rises to the cedar forests of a Pacific Coast. The restlessness of the journey finally gives way to the optimism left by the fresh green fragrance of galbanum, citrus and bergamot. Additional notes include lavandin, amyris, cedar, patchouli, tonka bean, oakmoss, guaiac wood, vanilla and labdanum.

8.   Penhaligon’s Halfeti  – 1.5ml eau de parfum

Halfeti draws inspiration from the lavish goods traded with Turkey: exotic florals, spices, soft leathers and precious fabrics. The fragrance is named for the small Turkish village of Halfeti, where enchanting black roses grow on the banks of the Euphrates river.

Halfeti is an opulent and multifaceted fragrance with so many wonderful scents dancing together and the sweetness alongside the oud makes this the ideal choice for the winter.

9.   Shay and Blue Framboise Noire  – 2ml eau de parfum

Shay and Blue are a fairly young perfume brand, with “a vision to uphold the age-old and traditional craft of fine perfumery and Framboise Noire is a new woody fragrance inspired by notes of black raspberries, red berries, iris pallida, white oud, musk and black woods.

10.  Neela Vermeire Ashoka  – 2ml eau de parfum

Ashoka has notes of fig leaves, leather, white and pink lotus, mimosa, fig milk, osmanthus, rose, water hyacinth, vetiver, styrax, incense, sandalwood, myrrh, tonka bean, and fir balsam which makes this such an amazing comforting scent.

There’s so much to love about Ashoka, and I think it’s my new favourite from the line.

11.   Vince Camuto Amore – 7.5ml eau de parfum

Bottled inside a very pretty exterior, Amore is a floriental and was developed by perfumer Laurent Le Guernec; the notes include clementine ice, cassis bud, bergamot, passion fruit, muguet, blush orchids, freesia, lotus, sandalwood, cashmere accord, crystallized amber and musk.

This is a bright, sexy, fruity floral and was definitely love at first whiff for me.  I think this one is a good pick if you’re looking for something a little more youthful and not too overpowering and the more I wear this the more I fall in love with it.

12.   philosophy amazing grace shampoo, bath and shower gel – Travel Size 30ml

Last but not least is a travel sized bath and showel gel from philosophy that also doubles up as a shampoo too!  The creamy formula is really dreamy and lathers up very well leaving only a light hint of  scent behind on your skin.

The scent is soft and clean, perfect for those who don’t like anything too overwhelming or complicated.

My Verdict

Curated to perfection, I think the Perfume Society have come up with such an amazing edition that will effortlessly solve all your fragrance woes over the festive period. There’s literally something for every occasion and mood with a very generous amount of vials so you’re bound to fall in love with something and this where this box really shines. Whether you are looking for something fresh and flirty or something sophisticated or alluring and everything in between then the Putting on the Spritz edition showcases a great collection and each and every scent will effortlessly stand out against the layers and layers of clothing this winter!

Whilst there’s no full sized products there is enough of each sample to use for at least 3 days or more giving you plenty of time to decide which one(s) you like best. Since discovering my first ever Perfume Society Box I’ve become obsessed with these little vials mainly because I can spritz a different scent each day to match my mood or occasion, I’m literally spoilt for choice as they include so many inside their boxes, the only negative is I’m lusting after quite a few of the full sized!

If you want to stand out and steer away from the usual favourites then these fragrances will not fail to get you noticed.
