If you love discovering on-trend and classic colours from both well-known and emerging brands or simply want to grow your nail varnish collection then *MeeBox is the UK’s newest nail subscription box that delivers nail polishes, treatments and tools right to your front door each month with a theme to match. I’m a sucker for a good theme, and the November edition doesn’t dissappoint. Centered around all things Taupe, there’s a great variety of shades that are subtle enough to be worn all day, everyday and can also be dressed up with some  glitter for some vavavoom!  With five full sized products on board from nail varnishes, a quick drying top coat and a Hydrating Treatment your at-home mani just got that little easier!

Each month you can expect to see a themed curation containing a generous mix of products from nail varnish, manicure tools and even hand creams, all of which are from well-known brands that we all love and know as well as some new discoveries too.

The November Taupe to Mee edition features Color Club, NCLA, Nu Bar, Cuccio .and Dr’s Remedy, all of which are enclosed inside MeeBox’s very own branded box with everything packaged nice and snug so you don’t need to worry about breakages.

1.  Color Club Nail Lacquer in “PosItively Posh” – Full Size. RRP £8.00

I’ve loved what I’ve tried from Color Club previously so welcomed Positively Posh,  a cool-toned dark mushroom creme that applies opaque in one single coat with a formula that makes nail painting such a doddle!

2.  NCLA Nudes in “Volume V” – Full Size. RRP £10.95

NCLA is a cruelty-free and vegan brand that has been producing high-quality nail polishes for quite some time, I’ve not tried much from this brand but Volume V forms parts of their nude collection. Described as a toasty shade, this is a dark nude with the perfect hint of brown making it elegant and flattering.

3.  Nu Bar Nail Lacquer in “Spark Prism” – Full Size. RRP £8.00

Nu Bar isn’t a brand I’ve come across before but their Prism collection is inspired by the colourful play of light embodied within a bottle so if you love pretty glitter varnishes this does not disappoint!

Spark is a neutral tan beige with fine glitter and the subtleness not only looks classy but it’s something that you’ll be able to pull off during the day too.

4.  Cuccio Quick Dry Drops – Full Size. RRP £7.50

I’m that girl who always seems to paint her nails at the absolute wrong time…every time! The Cuccio Quick Dry Drops contain a unique blend of solvent and silicone oil designed to help accelerate the drying time of your manicure as well as help protect the nail enamel from smudging. I’ve not tried drops before so I’m looking forward to giving this a go.

5.  Dr’s Remedy Hydrating Treatment – Full Size. RRP £11.95

This natural nail conditioner, infused with Biotin and the carbohydrate complex Pentavitin contains moisturising binding capabilities. Hydration is also enriched with whole wheat protein and four major vitamins. This clear coat helps moisturise, strengthen and protect the look of nails. Wear alone as a treatment or as a base coat under your favorite shade.

My nails are rarely naked and therefore never really have an opportunity to breathe so this month’s addition of Dr Remedy’s Hydrating Treatment is the perfect excuse for some TLC to revive and hydrate my nails.

My Verdict

Even though it feels as though we’ve been suffering through winter for months now, what better way to brighten up those cold, dreary winter days than a box filled with a beautiful collection of taupes that are universally flattering and make that transition from day into the night effortless. Keeping to the nail theme I love the addition of the quick dry drops and the Hydrating Treatment, both of which I’m looking forward to trying out.

Executed to perfection showcasing well known brands and new discoveries, MeeBox have literally hit the nail on the head and have curated the perfect line up for November and gets full marks from me. I personally love to coordinate with the seasons and the chosen colours for this month’s box are so pretty and incredibly versatile for this time of the year, in fact I think you’ll be able to pull them off all year round!

If you tend to stick to classic shades then this box gives you the opportunity to try something which you normally wouldn’t reach out for and with five full sized products on board it’s great value for money making it the perfect guilt-free treat for those who simply want to grow their nail varnish collection or just love all things nails!

I like the sound of this box as I love painting my nails, but I’m not a fan of these colours. Looking forward to seeing what they have in the future though! 🙂 x
