The *December Pink Parcel was bound to be full of festive cheer and just plain fun to open and I wasn’t wrong! Whilst it feels like Christmas every month with Pink Parcel they’ve definitely pulled out all the stops for this months edition with a jam packed line-up of treats that’s got me beaming from ear to ear, it’s so impressive!  As a company who continue to really wow me with an AH-mazing haul of surprises from beauty to lifestyle not forgetting the generous amount of monthly essentials , it’s a box that delivers month on month and effortlessly transforms that dreaded time of the month into an event to look forward to!

Pink Parcel is a subscription service for your monthly cycle who send you what you need, right when you need it as well as some lovely treats to brighten up those days of the month. With three dispatch dates to choose from, Pink Parcel literally take care of everything and will ship your box before your period is due. If you’re worried about flows and absorbency’s, they have that covered too as you can choose your preferred brand as well as the type of sanitary items to suit your flow making it completely bespoke to your needs.

1. Period Essentials

No matter what your cycle length is the amount of sanitary items and liners included within the box is impressive. You can also choose between receiving pads or tampons from a good selection of brands.

I was particularly happy to see popular brands on board such as Tampax, Always and Body Form. If you’re anything like me then this really helps avoid last-minute runs to the supermarket! There’s also a useful drawstring pouch filled with pads and liners that you can slip into your handbag.

As well as the necessities, Pink Parcel have also included some Tampon Disposal bags from Fab Little Bag  however if you don’t use tampons then these can be used for liners instead!

2. SASS Purifying Cleanser – Full Size 30ml RRP £8.00

Leaving no stone unturned, all subscribers will receive a feminine hygiene product each month and this edition includes a full sized Purifying Cleanser from SASS.

The SASS Purifying Cleanser has been specially created to help you feel fresh throughout the day. Their gentle formula contains special Ecodermine technology that acts as a probiotic to maintain intimate harmony, soothes the skin and helps you be at your best.

3. Beauty, Lifestyle and Jewellery Treats – 6 Items

If you love discovering beauty products as well as lifestyle items too then you’ll love this month’s jam packed edition, it impressively covers a good area with a line up that includes key essentials for everyday use as well some additional treats such as nail varnish, skincare treats and jewellery.

Cuteness overload alert! How adorable is the Gingerbread Man/Woman Lip Balm (RRP £1.95). Packaging aside, inside you’re greeted to a lovely vanilla cookie scent that smells good enough to eat.

Glitter is everywhere during Christmas and whilst it’s rather annoying to be covered in glitter from all the tree decorations I much prefer it on my nails so I was delighted to see the OPI Nail Lacquer in Gaining Mole-mentum (Full Size RRP £8.95), the perfect excuse to glam up your nails. With shredded light pink and gold glitter in a clear base, I love how fun this is!

Skincare is really important during the winter months and even more so during the party season so the Freeman Beauty Face Mask (RRP £1.50) and the Vichy Sleep Idealia (Sample Size) are a great choice inside this month’s box to give your skin a little TLC when it needs it the most…in my case it will be new years day!

I love that Pink Parcel have included a pack of Glucotabs in Orange/Raspberry (Travel Pack RRP 95p) this month, 10 fast acting glucose energy tablets with no artificial colours or preservatives that will have you back on form in no time if you’re a little partied out!

Of course you’ll need a little something to dress up those party outfits and the Lisa Angel Liberty Bracelet (RRP £15.00) does exactly that, it’s so pretty and dainty.

4. Tea and Chocolate Treats – 2 items

As well as the beauty line up you can also expect to see a tea bag sachet and bar of chocolate from both emerging brands to well-known brands.

The Gingerbread Man Tea sample from the English Tea Shop contains a delicious blend of Roasted Barley, Cinnamon, Ginger, Apple with Key Lime and promises to taste just like gingerbread man biscuits.   Also inside the box is an organic chocolate bar from AngeliQ in Festive Orange with Organic Cranberry (35g).

My Verdict

All in all, I’m so impressed with the December Pink Parcel and they’ve certainly ended the year with a bang, although having said that I wouldn’t expect any less from a company who really know how to wow their subscribers! With the box struggling to stay shut, the jam-packed line up features such a fabulous haul of beauty and lifestyle as well as those little extras to ensure you’re fully equipped making it the ultimate survival kit that’s really got you covered! We all expect a little cheer inside our beauty boxes during December and Pink Parcel have indeed delivered on that front and as always it arrives reliably on time and covers me from the first day to even the last and all the uncanny stuff which happens in between too! I love the variety this month and there’s lots of new discoveries and practical products to keep you looking and feeling and great right up to the new year.

If you’re looking for a true treat that spoils you rotten when you need it the most Pink Parcel definitely comes out on top and is an instant pick me up. It’s a monthly gift that you’ll definitely want to keep and the thrill of the surprise makes me really look forward to that time of the month!
