I was so grateful to be introduced to my first Pink Parcel last year and ever since then I’ve been truly wowed by their curations and rightly so as it effortlessly puts a whole lot of cheer into something that’s rather dull and depressing. Not losing this momentum as we kick start a new year, they’ve of course curated another fabulous edition for January with an lovely haul of surprises from beauty to lifestyle as well as a generous amount of monthly essentials that’s got you covered from the first day to the very last and when you combine all the elements together it’s rather genius and a monthly delivery I really look forward to receiving.

Pink Parcel is a subscription service for your monthly cycle who send you what you need, right when you need it as well as some lovely treats to brighten up those days of the month. With three dispatch dates to choose from, Pink Parcel literally take care of everything and will ship your box before your period is due. If you’re worried about flows and absorbency’s, they have that covered too as you can choose your preferred brand as well as the type of sanitary items to suit your flow making it completely bespoke to your needs.

1. Period Essentials

No matter what your cycle length is the amount of sanitary items and liners included within the box is impressive. You can also choose between receiving pads or tampons from a good selection of brands.

I was particularly happy to see popular brands on board such as Tampax, Always and Body Form. If you’re anything like me then this really helps avoid last-minute runs to the supermarket! There’s also a useful drawstring pouch filled with pads and liners that you can slip into your handbag.

As well as the necessities, you’ll also find a pack of Tampon Disposal bags from Fab Little Bag (RRP £1.99) however if you don’t use tampons then these can be used for liners instead!

2.  SASS Refreshing Wipes – RRP £2.50

Leaving no stone unturned, all subscribers will receive a feminine hygiene product each month and this edition includes a pack of refreshing wipes from SASS that have been created to neutralise odour and provide PH balanced scent protection, so you can feel fresh and protected anytime, anywhere making them the perfect addition for popping into the handbag.

3. Beauty and Lifestyle – 5 Items

If you love discovering beauty products as well as lifestyle items too then you’ll love this month’s edition, it impressively covers a good area of beauty with a line up that includes key essentials for everyday as well some additional treats in the form of cute stationary.

First from the beauty line up is the Normaderm Beautifying Anti-Blemish Care (Sample Size 3ml) from Vichy’s newly launched collection and an exclusive to Pink Parcel subscribers. The cream not only hydrates the skin but also contains spot busting properties too to target hormonal breakouts. I suffer from breakouts a few days before my period so this is such an exciting discovery this month and something I really welcome.

If your skin’s in need of a little extra TLC then this good sized sample pot of Twenty First Century Herbs Skin Balm is a 100% natural cream with French lavender, Calendula, oat straw, sweet almond and macadamia oil that is designed to target a wide array of skin concerns such as dry skin, eczema, psoriasis, oily skin and spots!

Kiss Cosmetics isn’t a brand I’ve been introduced to before but their Kiss Stick in Birthday Suit (Full Size RRP £7.00) is a highly pigmented lipstick with a moisture enriched formula. Subscribers can expect to receive 1 of 8 shades from the collection and whilst this isn’t a shade I would have picked out myself I’m definitely interested in trying out some of their other shades.

As well as the lipstick there’s also another make up addition in the form of the Bellapierre Shimmer Powder in the shade Snowflake (Full Size RRP £12.99). I love the shimmer powders from Bellepierre, they have wonderful pigmentation, blend really easily with little fallout and are an ultimate all-in-one mineral make up product that you can mix with lip balm, clear nail polish, and with a drop of water it even becomes an eyeshadow and an eyeliner.

I think every one of us has experienced the agony of realising later that an idea is utterly gone from our minds and that no amount of mental gymnastics can bring it back so this set of 3 notepads by Pink Parcel (RRP £2.50) are great for capturing ideas that spring to mind when you’re on the go!

4. Tea and Foodie Treats – 3 items

As well as the beauty line up you can also expect to see a luxurious Vanilla and Almond Tea sample from The London Tea Club , guilt-free sweeties from Jealous Sweets that are packed with Vitamin C and a pack of Pip & Nut Coconut Almond Butter. I love the variety this month, what a great trio to keep your cravings in check!

My Verdict

Pink Parcel have certainly kick started the year with another amazing haul of beauty discoveries, tea and foodie treats to keep our cravings in check as well as all the little extras making it the ultimate survival kit that’s got your back when you need it the most. As always the box never fails to put a smile to my face, I really love the unboxing experience and there’s always lots of go through with a good selection of new and exciting things to try each month. I’m particularly excited about trying the exclusive spot-busting product from Vichy’s new Normaderm range, it’s such a fitting addition for those who do breakout during their period.

If you’re looking for a true treat that spoils you rotten when you need it the most Pink Parcel definitely comes out on top and is an instant pick me up that’s incredible value for money. It’s a monthly gift that you’ll definitely want to keep and the thrill of the surprise makes me really look forward to that time of the month!
