A company that always continues to wow me is Pink Parcel, it’s truly amazing how many goodies they cram into their curations and it effortlessly puts a whole lot of cheer into something that’s rather dull and depressing. The *February edition features a lovely haul of surprises from beauty to lifestyle as well as a generous amount of monthly essentials that’s got you covered from the first day to the very last but it feels a teeny bit lacking on the beauty front this month but having said that it hasn’t failed to make me smile as there’s quite a few highlights, something that’s always guaranteed! There’s also a few new discoveries on board from brands I’ve not been introduced to before making the unboxing experience much more interesting.

Pink Parcel is a subscription service for your monthly cycle who send you what you need, right when you need it as well as some lovely treats to brighten up those days of the month. With three dispatch dates to choose from, Pink Parcel literally take care of everything and will ship your box before your period is due. If you’re worried about flows and absorbency’s, they have that covered too as you can choose your preferred brand as well as the type of sanitary items to suit your flow making it completely bespoke to your needs.

1. Period Essentials

No matter what your cycle length is the amount of sanitary items and liners included within the box is impressive. You can also choose between receiving pads or tampons from a good selection of brands.

I was particularly happy to see popular brands on board such as Tampax, Always and Body Form. If you’re anything like me then this really helps avoid last-minute runs to the supermarket! There’s also a useful drawstring pouch filled with pads and liners that you can slip into your handbag.

As well as the necessities, you’ll also find a pack of Tampon Disposal bags from Fab Little Bag (RRP £1.99) however if you don’t use tampons then these can be used for liners instead!

2.  SASS Intimate Soothe and Smooth Shave Gel – RRP £10.00

Leaving no stone unturned, all subscribers will receive a feminine hygiene product every month and this edition includes a very generous sized Soothe and Smooth Shave Gel from SASS, a pH balanced formula to prevent irritation, crystal clear so you can shave precisely and has a unique formula to protect against ingrown hairs and razor bumps.

3. Beauty and Lifestyle – 5 Items

If you love discovering beauty products as well as lifestyle items too then this month’s edition has you covered with a line up that includes key essentials for everyday as well some additional treats in the form of a cute little frame and an eye mask.

First from the beauty line up is the Aussie Miracle Moist Conditioner (Travel Size 75ml) that promises to lock in moisture and protect against the elements. It’s enriched with Queensland Macadamia nut and rich nourishing oils that revitilises dry and damaged hair. It’s been years since I’ve tried any Aussie products so I’m happy to be reacquainted again, although I would have liked to have received a sample of the shampoo too.

If your skin’s in need of a little extra TLC then the Merumaya Melting Cleansing Balm and Youth Serum (Sample Sachets) boasts integrative, effective, evidence-based, anti-ageing skincare properties that are valued for their active ingredients. Their skincare promises to put the pleasure, femininity and sensuality back into the experience and I can definitely vouch for that as the cleansing balm removes make-up, dirt and grime effortlessly, applies like a dream and feels utterly luxurious.

Lola’s Apothecary isn’t a brand I’ve been introduced to before but it’s so hard not to fall in love with their collection! The Sweet Lullaby Soothing Body & Massage Oil (Travel Size 10ml. Full Size 100ml RRP £36.00) is such a pretty addition inside this months box. Suitable for the face, hair and nails, it’s infused with a comforting scent of Lavender and Ylang Ylang at its soothing heart, grounded by Patchouli and Vanilla at its spicy base, and uplifted by Sweet Orange in the top note. This multi-purpose beauty wonder promotes deep healing, tranquility and miraculously transforms dull, dry, or problem skin. The rollerball sample makes this so convenient for traveling and when you’re on the go too, definitely my favourite item from the line up and it smells absolutely divine.

On the lifestyle front there’s an adorable Mini Photo Frame from Sass & Belle (RRP £2.50) which you place on your desk, bedside table or you can hang it in your car.

Last but not least is the Pink Parcel Lavender-Scented Eye Mask (RRP £5.99), a lovely addition for that all important beauty sleep and something that will definitely be accompanying me on my flight.

4. Tea and Foodie Treats – 3 items

As well as the beauty line up you can also expect to see the ever so pretty Rainbows & Whirlwinds Tea sample (RRP £10 for 20) from Lola’s Apothecary and an exclusive Double Trouble Chocolate Fudge piece from Fudge Kitchen.

My Verdict

Pink Parcel have put together a lovely haul of beauty discoveries, tea and foodie treats to keep our cravings in check as well as all the little extras making it the ultimate survival kit that’s got your back when you need it the most. As always the box never fails to put a smile to my face but in terms of the beauty line up it fell a little short for me for this month however the introduction of the Sweet Lullaby Soothing Body & Massage Oil from Lola’s Apothecary definitely made up for this shortfall, a very welcomed brand discovery this month. There’s a good selection of new and exciting things to try, something that really appeals to me when it comes to Pink Parcel and whilst I adore all things beauty, I love the addition of the lifestyle items and sweet treats to mix things up.

If you’re looking for a true treat that spoils you rotten when you need it the most Pink Parcel definitely comes out on top and is an instant pick me up that’s incredible value for money. It’s a monthly gift that you’ll definitely want to keep and the thrill of the surprise makes me really look forward to that time of the month!
