I really enjoyed last month’s Nourish Beauty Box but the April edition definitely tops it with a refreshing mix of luxe beauty treats that covers skincare, make up and an aftershave balm and together they form the perfect line up for those warm and sunny days ahead of us. As always there’s discoveries from new and exciting natural and cruelty-free beauty brands from across the globe, something that I really love as it makes the unboxing experience that little more interesting plus everything’s skin friendly so you don’t need to worry about any nasties. The value once again beats the actual cost of the subscription and boasts all full sized products, perfect for judging whether you like them or not.

Every month, the Nourish Beauty Box will offer 3 full-sized beauty products ranging from skincare/bodycare to makeup products, plus a limited edition eco-friendly tote bag, all of which can be purchased within their online shop if you happen to fall in love with something. The price of the box is $34.95 (£23.00)/month (FREE Worldwide delivery) and subscribers get at least $70 (around £46.00) retail value in every box.

The April edition features products from Prim Botanticals, , Dr Severin, Studio Aroma and a limited edition eco-friendly canvas tote bag from Nourish Beauty Box.

1. Prim Botanicals Lip & Cheek Glow – Full Size RRP £15.41

The first of the new discoveries is a brand that’s featured in a previous edition so I couldn’t wait to try out this palette from their collection.

The Lip & Cheek Glow palette contains two pretty pops of colour, perfect for injecting a little bit of spring to your make up bag. The palette also contains a mirror but I’d definitely would have liked to of seen a mini brush inside too.

2. Dr Severin Body Aftershave Balm for Women – Full Size RRP £27.31

Regenerating and cooling, the Body Aftershave Balm by Dr Severin not only soothes the skin but promises to act quickly against itching, irritation and protects against inflammation of pores and naturally fights unpleasant odour with sensitive skin in mind. Its paraben- and alcohol-free formula and also boasts being vegan and cruelty-free.

The aftershave itself is of a gel like consistency that’s very runny so you only need a very small amount as the tub will definitely last well even with very frequent use. The scent is quite overpowering but it’s very clean and crisp.

My skin is often sensitive and irritated after shaving so this tub of magic really is such a godsend and is refreshing, soothing, gentle and calms and reduces irritation my skin.

3. Studio Aroma San Rose Serum – Full Size 100ml RRP £19.61

Studio Aroma is a modern aromatic apothecary that provides therapeutic aromatherapy and handcrafted body care products using botanic extracts and minerals and hails all the way from Canada where the brand was born.

The San Rose Serum helps to calm your skin and improve blood circulation throughout your face to maintain a radiant glow and contains Rose Hip Oil, Golden Jojoba, Damask Rose Essential Oil, Sandalwood Essential Oil.

4. Eco-Friendly Canvas Tote Bag with Limited Edition Print – RRP £15.86

This month’s Eco-Friendly Canvas Tote Bag has such a fun feel to it – Peanut Butter and Jelly, it’s such a cute design!

My Verdict

Month on month, the Nourish Beauty Box really does live up to its promise by delivering an all-natural and cruelty-free line up from make-up, skincare and body care products to a lifestyle item in the form of the canvas bag and the April edition is definitely my favourite edition so far. Featuring a good mix of beauty treats sourced from across the globe they’ve included some really interesting brands, all of which I wouldn’t have come across otherwise so it’s great for those who want to discover some hidden gems. This months line up definitely ticks all the boxes for me with the hero product being the Dr Severin Body Aftershave Balm, it’s such a useful addition and it works! At £23.00 per month, the price point is a little bit more steep compared to other subscription but you can always expect to see full sized products with RRP’s that always exceeds the monthly subscription cost.

If you love organic, natural and cruelty-free products or want to detoxify your beauty regime with a more friendly alternative the Nourish Beauty Box is the perfect way to enhance your beauty the natural way and also benefits the environment too.
