My *April Pink Parcel has finally arrived and what a lovely array of treats they have in store for us for this month, it was definitely worth the wait and it certainly didn’t fail to leave me beaming from ear to ear! Featuring a lovely haul of surprises from beauty to lifestyle as well as a generous amount of monthly essentials that’s got you covered from the first day to the very last, they’ve sparked my interest once again with a bundle of new discoveries/brands so it’s another exciting unboxing and is one of the main reasons why Pink Parcel is one of my favourite boxes. It really does an excellent job in cheering you up when you need it the most, provides you with all the sanitary essentials so you’re fully equipped and is a great choice for discovering both beauty and lifestyle treats that you wouldn’t have come across otherwise so it’s definitely a win win situation! They’ve even included some recipes and discount codes so it’s a jam packed edition this month!

Pink Parcel is a subscription service for your monthly cycle who send you what you need, right when you need it as well as some lovely treats to brighten up those days of the month. With three dispatch dates to choose from, Pink Parcel literally take care of everything and will ship your box before your period is due. If you’re worried about flows and absorbency’s, they have that covered too as you can choose your preferred brand as well as the type of sanitary items to suit your flow making it completely bespoke to your needs.

1. Period Essentials

No matter what your cycle length is the amount of sanitary items and liners included within the box is impressive. You can also choose between receiving pads or tampons from a good selection of brands.

I was particularly happy to see popular brands on board such as Tampax, Always and Body Form. If you’re anything like me then this really helps avoid last-minute runs to the supermarket! There’s also a useful drawstring pouch filled with pads and liners that you can pop into your handbag straightaway.

2.  SASS Intimate Purifying Cleanser – RRP £8.00

Leaving no stone unturned, all subscribers will receive a feminine hygiene product each month and my box includes a full sized Purifying Cleanser from SASS.

The SASS Purifying Cleanser has been specially created to help you feel fresh throughout the day. Their gentle formula contains special Ecodermine technology that acts as a probiotic to maintain intimate harmony, soothes the skin and helps you be at your best.

As well as the above,  you’ll also find a pack of Tampon Disposal bags from Fab Little Bag (RRP £1.99) however if you don’t use tampons then these can be used for liners instead!

3. Beauty Treats – 4 Items

If you love discovering beauty products then this month’s edition has you covered with a line up that includes key essentials for everyday as well some additional treats for some well-deserved pamper time.

First from the beauty line up is the NPW Pomegranate & Paw Paw Face Mask (RRP £1.85), a face mask that leaves you feeling fresh and glowing for a night out or alternatively I think this would also be a great option to perk up dull winter skin.

If you love make-up then you’re in for a real treat as subscribers can expect to see one of three products from NEW CID Cosmetics, a brand that I’m not too familiar with so it’s definitely a welcomed addition. I received the i-pout (RRP £18.00) in the shade Pink Bliss which not only boasts a beautiful colour for everyday use but there’s a little mirror and a light making those touch ups on the go a complete doddle, plus there’s an exclusive 15% off discount code that you can redeem via their website.

After a long week at work, I think most of us welcome a good, stiff drink, but for all those days in between you can smell like your favorite cocktail thanks to the Boozi Body Care Hand Cream (RRP £3.95). This lightweight and hydrating hand cream promises to revive dry hands on the go effortlessly with an irresistible fragrance of tropical pineapple and sweet, sharp raspberries – yum!

Last but not least and definitely the show stopper is the True Brit London Nail Polish (RRP £12.50) that’s been created especially for Pink Parcel subscribers making it such an unique addition this month. Sticking to all things pink this candy floss pink shade is exactly what I would have picked out myself and it’s perfect for spring. Next month they’ll be featuring another unique shade so I can’t to see what they pick.

4. Tea and Sweet Treats – 4 items

As well as the beauty line up you can also expect to see a very generous selection of foodie items this month, the perfect mix to satisfy those cravings, some of which are guilt-free too.

We all crave something sweet during the time of the month and the Mallow & Marsh Bar (£18 for a case of 12) really does hit the spot! This classic coconut marshmallow bar can be eaten on it’s own or for a true gourmet marshmallow experience you can dip one in live yoghurt or a devilish chocolate sauce.

Covering the savoury side too this month and with World Health Day in mind, Pink Parcel have included a pack of Nairn’s Rough Oatcakes (£1.29 for 291g), a naturally energising snack packed with coarse, wholegrain oats and are high in soluble and insoluble fibre. Not only that, but they are full of complex carbohydrates giving you a wholesome boost to help you get the most out of your day.

The cute smiley face chocolate by Cocoba which was hiding in the plastic envelope nearly made it’s way to the recycling bin so I’m relieved that I managed to rescue it! To celebrate the tampon tax being abolished which is such a huge milestone as we’ve been fighting for it for years, Pink Parcel in collaboration with Cocoba have marked the occasion by including this additional treat  and needless to say it didn’t last long!

Last but not least is the TeaPigs Chamomile Flowers Tea (x1), the perfect addition to help you unwind and relax with a sweet, surprisingly juicy flavour of chamomile.

My Verdict

I think you’ll agree that Pink Parcel have definitely nailed the April edition (no pun intended!) with a fabulous array of treats and it’s my favourite curation so far this year and covers such a good ground this month. There’s an excellent balance on both the beauty and lifestyle front and in terms of the discoveries everything’s all new finds for me plus it was amazing to see their very own shade of pink created by True Brit. It’s no secret that I absolutely adore my Pink Parcel delivery and whilst the practicality takes the chore out of your buying your monthly essentials, the thoughtfulness and the love that goes into their curations month on month really does give you something to look forward to when you need it the most – it really is a box filled with cheer and they’re always sourcing new discoveries so it makes the unboxing experience so much more exciting.

If you’re looking for a true treat that spoils you rotten when you need it the most Pink Parcel comes out on top and is an instant pick me up that’s incredible value for money. It’s a monthly gift that you’ll definitely want to keep and the thrill of the surprise makes me really look forward to that time of the month! If anyone knows the way to a girl heart it’s Pink Parcel.
