The May #LFHelloBeautiful Look Fantastic Beauty Box absolutely pops this month with it’s ever so pretty colour theme and includes a whole range of beauty treats to show off and grow the beauty we were born with. With this in mind the line up is very skincare dominated along with a couple of hair treats too so if your skin and hair needs a little pick me up then this months box has your name on it! Showcasing a few regularly featured brands plus some newbies the box is worth over £50.00 and includes 7 products with a mix of full sized and travel sized samples as well as a copy of the June Elle Magazine and combine all that together it’s such a great value for money edition.
The Look Fantastic box offers a selection of handpicked, must have beauty fixes wrapped in a beautifully presented box and delivered straight to your door. The beauty box will always include a minimum of six products and offers a selection of skincare, haircare, cosmetic and body products, catering for every beauty lover.
This month’s box is filled with a generous mix of treats and showcases the brands REN, Eve Lom, Wet Brush, Decleor, Vichy, Revlon and Ioma Paris.
1. REN Wake Wonderful Night-Time Facial – Sample Size 10ml.
Although I try to get the recommended dose of beauty sleep there’s no harm in powering it up a little and this is where the Wake Wonderful Night-Time Facial by REN comes to the rescue!
This skin saver which works while you sleep promises to leave skin visibly brighter, more luminous, refined and even toned in the morning. Containing a unique complex of actives, this delivers a 3-phase treatment while you sleep that gently renews the skin, boosts skin cell vitality and infuses skin with plumping moisture.
2. Vichy Liftactiv Supreme Day Cream – Sample Size 15ml.
The Vichy Liftactiv Supreme Day Cream contains Rhamnose, a plant sugar that has been experimented on skin cells grown in the lab and has been found to be very effective when it comes to boosting anti-aging properties of the cells and the unique formula promises to boost radiance, make wrinkles look smoother and skin feel firmer.

Ioma Pais isn’t a brand I’ve heard of before but these really useful pods are so handy for those breaks away. Hailing all the way from France, IOMA are all about highly specialised, personalised skincare and using the best ingredients at their optimum concentrations.
The Youthful Moisture Cream also doubles up as a night cream promising to protect and moisturise the skin, stimulates cellular activity, corrects first wrinkles and boosts collagen production.
4. Eve Lom Cleanser and Muslin Cloth – Sample size 5ml
If you’ve followed Look Fantastic’s journey from the start, this cleansing balm by Eve Lom has been featured a couple of times already but I absolutely love slathering this on so happy to have this sample sachet on standby plus there’s a muslin cloth within the pack too.
Perfect for even the most sensitive skin, this pioneering cult beauty balm which featured in Vogue Magazine was recognised as probably the best cleanser in the world. Whilst its heavenly formula removes traces of make-up including waterproof mascara it also works well as decongesting, toning and exfoliating the skin gently. The scent is really nice too and stems from a bespoke blend of skin loving ingredients such as Chamomile, Eucalyptus, Cloves and Hops.
5. Decleor Intense Nourishing Cocoon Cream – Sample Size 5ml
Expertly blended using some of nature’s most potent ingredients, this delicately scented, rich cream brings instant relief and comfort to dry, tight skin and helps protect it from the elements. I’m very loyal to my Tangle Teezer however when my hair is really knotty I turn to my Wet Brush that I received inside a previous Look Fantastic box, this one’s much bigger so it’s definitely a welcomed addition but two of their brushes were featured only last year!
The Wet Brush effortlessly removes knots and tangles from hair without snagging, tugging or pain with thin, strong and flexible Intelliflex™ bristles which glide through any type of hair and bounce back to their original form after every stroke to prevent split ends and reduce hair breakage. The SofTips™ make the detangling brush suitable for even sensitive scalps and work effectively to massage the scalp, stimulating circulation at the follicle.
The brush is also coated in rubber to prevent it from slipping out of your hand which is essential when using on wet hair especially the amount of times my brush has gone flying!
7. Revlon Uniq One All in One Hair Treatment – Sample Size 9ml
The Uniq One Coconut All In One Hair Treatment is a leave-in hair treatment spray which offers a host of benefits to all hair types, 1o to be exact! From shine and frizz control to heat protection and UVA/UVB protection against colour fading it also adds silky smoothness and enviable body and volume. If that’s not enough it can also be used as a detangling spray and also works to prevent split ends.
There’s nothing that says summer to me like the smell of coconut and with all those multiple benefits contained inside I’m really looking forward to trying this out.
My Verdict
I’m a sucker for pretty boxes and this month’s edit definitely delivered on that front and once again they’ve stuck to the theme throughout something I really welcome as everything’s a little more fused together as opposed to the items just being thrown into the box! There’s definitely a couple of highlights that I’m really excited to try and whist I really wanted to love the line up this month for me personally it’s my least favourite mainly due to the skincare overload but having said that if you’re a skincare junkie or a new subscriber there’s definitely a good variety to trial plus you can’t really go wrong with a multi-purpose hair product and a hair brush. Showcasing both well-known brands and a a newbie, there’s a couple of repeated products which for me really lets the box down especially if you’ve been a loyal subscriber so I hope Look Fantastic start to source some other brands from their huge portfolio. All in all despite the above, there’s no questioning that for £15.00 a month you’re definitely getting a good valued beauty haul and it’s a great opportunity to explore some high-end brands and whilst the line up mainly consists of travel sized samples they make great companions for short breaks!
