I’m such a sucker for a good theme and chuck some nail polishes into the mix too – this is where my nail polish collection grows unnecessarily larger! When MeeBox released their RiRiMee theme for May I just couldn’t resist signing up I think the curiosity just got the better of me if I’m honest but if anyone knows how to pull off a theme it’s MeeBox! With six hand picked goodies carefully tucked inside its happy facade, the collection definitely channels all things Rihanna with a sexy and classy bunch of nail varnishes to full on nail art as well as nail care making your at-home mani that little easier.

If you love discovering on-trend and classic colours from both well-known and emerging brands or simply want to grow your nail varnish collection then *MeeBox is a nail subscription box that delivers nail polishes, treatments and tools right to your front door each month with a theme to match.  Each month you can expect to see a themed curation containing a generous mix of products from nail varnish, manicure tools and even hand creams, all of which are from well-known brands that we all love and know as well as some new discoveries too.

The May edition features OPI, WAH London, Zoya, DangleFoot, Rad Nails and Sparkly Nails, all of which are enclosed inside MeeBox’s very own branded box with everything packaged nice and snug so you don’t need to worry about breakages.

1.  DangleFoot Polish in Higitis Figitis – Full Size. RRP £6.75

Oooh there’s an indie brand on board and for me it’s such an exciting discovery as it’s my first ever one!

This polish is absolutely mesmerising and it grabbed my attention straight away. It has tiny flecks of micro glitter and the formula is very pigmented so you can easily get full opacity with just the one coat. The shimmer in this is subtle enough without being over-the-top and it also benefits from being 5-free and vegan.

2.  WAH London in Love My Team – Full Size. RRP £9.00

This fiery red shade is an instant confidence booster and is one of the best pillar box reds I’ve come across. I’m huge fan of WAH London and as with all their varnishes the formula applies like a dream.

3.  Zoya Satin in Leah – Full Size. RRP £8.95

Best described as a lavender tinged taupe cream, this boasts an exclusive Satin finish which is a hybrid between matte and glossy polishes and is not intended to be worn with a top coat. I love that they also included something a little more muted and it’s the perfect 9-5 shade that you’ll be able to pull off all year round.

4.  Nailcare and Nail Art treats

In addition to the pretty nail varnishes, Meebox have also included a mini Nail Strengthener from OPI, Cuticle Tattoos from Rad Nails and a pack of Nail Art Studs from Sparkly Nails

My Verdict

With curiosity getting the better of me I’m so delighted I took the plunge and subscribed to the May MeeBox, there’s truly lots to love and they’ve stuck to the theme throughout with a collective of well known names from the industry as well an indie brand too. Channeling all things Rihanna with bold and sexy hues to something a little sophisticated there’s something for all occasions and the addition of the nail art and tattoos are perfect for the upcoming festival season or evenings out.

On the presentation front, I love the little details that go into every Meebox, the coordinating paper crinkles and tissue paper, it really does add that extra something special. I know I have more nail polish than I probably could use in a lifetime, but it’s so much fun discovering new brands and shades!

If you tend to stick to classic shades then this box gives you the opportunity to try something which you normally wouldn’t reach out and it’s the perfect guilt-free treat for those who simply want to grow their nail varnish collection or just love all things nails!

Eeek! June’s theme is centered around mermaids and it’s available now via www.meebox.co.uk
