My *May Pink Parcel has finally arrived and it’s another show stopping edition bursting with everything you could possibly need for a happy and stress-free period, I think it’s their best yet! From beauty to lifestyle treats as well as a generous amount of monthly essentials they’ve got you covered from the first day to the very last with lots of new discoveries and is just one of the reasons why I love my Pink Parcel delivery. Not only is it a great resource for ensuring your fully stocked but it also does an excellent job in cheering you up when you need it the most.

Pink Parcel is a subscription service for your monthly cycle who send you what you need, right when you need it as well as some lovely treats to brighten up those days of the month. With three dispatch dates to choose from, Pink Parcel literally take care of everything and will ship your box before your period is due. If you’re worried about flows and absorbency’s, they have that covered too as you can choose your preferred brand as well as the type of sanitary items to suit your flow making it completely bespoke to your needs.

1. Period Essentials

No matter what your cycle length is the amount of sanitary items and liners included within the box is impressive. You can also choose between receiving pads or tampons from a good selection of brands.

I was particularly happy to see popular brands on board such as Tampax, Always and Body Form. If you’re anything like me then this really helps avoid last-minute runs to the supermarket! There’s also a useful drawstring pouch filled with pads and liners that you can pop into your handbag straightaway.

2.  Femfresh Freshening & Soothing Cloths – RRP £1.60

With the new changes taking into effect from next month this may be the last of the feminine hygiene products but I was really pleased to see a different brand featured this month.  The Femfresh Freshening & Soothing Cloths boasts a gentle pH-balanced formula, with calendula & soothing aloe extracts, perfect for a quick refresh whilst on the go as well as being hypoallergenic, dermatologically & gynaecologically tested

As well as the above,  you’ll also find a pack of Tampon Disposal bags from Fab Little Bag (RRP £1.99) however if you don’t use tampons then these can be used for liners instead!

3. Beauty Treats – 5 Items

If you love discovering beauty products then this month’s edition has you covered with a line up that includes key essentials for everyday as well some additional treats to help you look and feel great.

First from the beauty line up is the Cougar Perfect Pout Lip Plumper that has a whooping RRP of £29.00 and is such a generous addition when you take into account the price of the box! If you love plumping up your pout like the stars, then this non-abrasive formula has your name written all over it! With an active ingredient of Volulip, this lip plumper mimic’s hyaluronic acid injection by doubling its synthesis level but also strongly stimulates the synthesis of matrix and dermal-epidermal junction molecules. This making an improvement of the internal and superficial lip texture with a visible impact on the lip shape: increases the volume of the lips, Decreases anti-ageing and anti-sagging effect on the lips and improves hydration and softness of the lips.

Make up tools aren’t featured often inside beauty boxes so the Lottie London Concealer Brush (RRP £4.99) is definitely a welcomed addition and the bright pop of colour will not fail to stand out within your brush collection. Subscribers will receive one of four different Lottie London brushes this month.

I’ve been curious about Badger products for quite some time so I’m delighted to see them on board. Hailing all the way from New Hampshire in the US they’re known for their high quality, natural based products which promise to heal, soothe and protect.  If you do struggle to sleep during your period then the Badger Lavender & Bergamot Sleep Balm (RRP £4.99) comes to the rescue when you need little bit of calm at bedtime. Containing a blend of essential oils to help ease the mind and melt away daily stresses, the Rosemary and uplifting Bergamot help clear your mind, whilst Lavender and Balsam Fir induce feelings of relaxation to help you drift off.

On the skincare front is the Simple Soothing Facial Toner (50ml, RRP £1.29), a handy travel sized essential which is a great choice for those who do breakout before and during their period. The toner removes the last traces of make-up and cleanser and helps to clarify and refresh your skin with the goodness from Chamomile to gently soothe and Witch Hazel to help tone and tighten the pores.

Last but not least is another gorgeous True Brit London Nail Polish in the shade It’s a Monthly Thing (RRP £12.50) that’s been created especially for Pink Parcel subscribers making it such an unique addition again this month, it makes the perfect pairing with the pretty pink we received last month.

4. Tea and Sweet Treats – 4 items

As well as the beauty line up you can also expect to see some foodie items this month, the perfect mix to satisfy those cravings and they sure do hit the spot!

We all crave something sweet during the time of the month and the Fudge Kitchen White Chocolate & Raspberry Cube (£12 for 10) and the Rococo Mini Bee Bar in Honeycomb Crunch (£1.50 for 20g) really fulfils those sweets cravings, I just wish I had some more as they didn’t last long!

Last but not least is the English Tea Shop Chocolate Rooibos & Vanilla Teabag (x1), the perfect indulgent treat that’s caffeine-free with rooibos, blended with dark chocolate and real vanilla pods – Yum!

My Verdict

Once again this months Pink Parcel is well rounded and there isn’t anything I feel disappointed in which in itself is quite novel when it comes to these types of boxes! With a little something of everything from the beauty department to those all important yummy pick me ups they’ve covered all areas plus it’s always fun trying new products and exploring new brands something that keeps on coming when Pink Parcel are involved. Value-wise this box was definitely solid and worth well over £50.00 so it’s a true treat. There’s quite a few products that I’m really excited to try not forgetting the generous amount of sanitary items which will see you right through your cycle with a few to spare too – I definitely don’t miss those last minutes runs to the supermarket!

It’s no secret that I absolutely adore my Pink Parcel delivery it’s such a great resource and a wonderful distraction from the dreaded monthly visitor and whilst you won’t find any magic potions the goodies make a great antidote. If you’re looking for a true treat that spoils you rotten when you need it the most Pink Parcel comes out on top. It’s a monthly gift that you’ll definitely want to keep and the thrill of the surprise makes me really look forward to that time of the month! If anyone knows the way to a girl heart it’s Pink Parcel.

In other news: There’s some really positive changes taking place from June. Putting their subscribers at the forefront of their ever-evolving concept they’ve listened to the feedback and I think the future is definitely looking bright for Pink Parcel. Here’s the low down:

They’ve made the box bigger! Shifting some bits around meant that there’s some extra space so they can send you a little bit more each month. This might mean slightly bigger or full-size products, or maybe even one or two extra treats!

We all know that Pink Parcel are very generous when it comes to the sanitary products but in my opinion they send out way too many so they’ve made a couple of reductions!
