Last month the lovely bunch at Pink Parcel announced some really positive changes after taking on feedback from their subscribers and I’m pleased to report with these now fully in force the *June edition is nothing short of fabulous and with the subscription price now lowered they’ve still managed to sustain the quality and quantity which is pretty amazing – I don’t know how they do it! This months they’ve delivered another bumper edition with a collective of beauty and lifestyle treats to help you look and feel great, a scent melt to fill your home with tropical fruity goodness as well a generous amount of monthly essentials that have you covered from the first day to the very last. Not only is it a great resource for ensuring your fully stocked but it also does an excellent job in cheering you up when you need it the most.

Pink Parcel is a subscription service for your monthly cycle who send you what you need, right when you need it as well as some lovely treats to brighten up those days of the month. With three dispatch dates to choose from, Pink Parcel literally take care of everything and will ship your box before your period is due. If you’re worried about flows and absorbency’s, they have that covered too as you can choose your preferred brand as well as the type of sanitary items to suit your flow making it completely bespoke to your needs.

1. Period Essentials

No matter what your cycle length is the amount of sanitary items and liners included within the box is impressive. You can also choose between receiving pads or tampons from a good selection of brands.

I was particularly happy to see popular brands on board such as Tampax, Always and Body Form. If you’re anything like me then this really helps avoid last-minute runs to the supermarket! There’s also a useful drawstring pouch filled with pads and liners that you can pop into your handbag straightaway.

2. Beauty & Lifestyle Treats – 7 Items

If you love discovering beauty products then this month’s edition has you covered with a line up that includes key essentials for everyday as well some additional treats to help you look and feel great not forgetting the ever so fruity scent melt from Imperial Candles.

First from the beauty line up is the Model Co Power Lash Mascara (Full Size RRP £24.00) and is something that’s already a staple in my make up bag so I’m delighted to have another as a back-up. The Power Lash Mascara is an intensely black, lengthening mascara which is created with a unique formula to give your lashes a little more oomph and a lot more drama. The applicator brush is the ideal size and fully coats my lashes without any clumping and it certainly delivers when it comes to lengthening the lashes.

Popularly more known for their fun bath time treats, I’ve not tried much from Bubble T and this month Pink Parcel have featured a very new launch in the form of their Macaroon Lip Balm (Worth £2.00 £10.00 for a set of 5) which will not only make a cute addition to your make up bag but the ultra-moisturising formula glides on effortlessly to leave lips smooth and soft. Subscribers can expect to see 1 of 5 different flavours inside their box.

Whatever our periods throw at us you can guarantee that Pink Parcel have got our backs so with festival season in mind they’ve also included a pack of NPW Halo Nail Stickers & Gems (RRP £1.50) to jazz up our nails!

Moving onto the skincare front is the Oohaar Amphora Aromatics Face Mask (various – RRP £1.50) and a duo from Amie Naturally Kind (RRP £1.00) so if your period tends to advertise on your face like mine, this trio is great for those who suffer from oily skin and breakouts.

Did you know Banzee have a monthly subscription box? If you didn’t then these Hair Ties (RRP £5.95) are such a lovely introduction and with designs being churned out regularly you’ll be spoilt for choice. Not only do they keep your hair in place without tugging or leaving kinks in your hair they make great bracelets too!

Last but not least and a firm favourite inside this months box is the Guava Scent Melt by Imperial Candle (various scents RRP £1.99), a lovely addition to help you relax and unwind and the infusion of Guava does not fail to bring those tropical vibes inside your home making it the perfect summer scent.

4. Tea and Sweet Treats – 4 items

As well as the beauty line up you can also expect to see a sample of tea and a pack of popcorn, the perfect mix to satisfy those cravings and as always they sure do hit the spot but I was a little disappointed that there was no chocolate this month!

We all crave something sweet during the time of the month  and the Joe & Seph’s Salted Caramel Popcorn really fulfils those sweets cravings so it was nice to see them swap out the chocolate for something a little different I guess!

Last but not least is the The Tea Shed Emergency Tea  (x1), a classic English Breakfast to have on standby when you need it the most!

My Verdict

Delivering those much needed pampering treats as well as bringing those days of being caught unprepared to an end, Pink Parcel have definitely incorporated some positive changes to their revamped concept and despite the price reduction of their monthly subscription their June edition still came out on top with an impressive amount of treats. Covering all basis ranging from skincare, to lifestyle items, to make up and nails in addition to the tea and delicious popcorn there’s a lovely mixture of products plus it’s always fun trying new products and exploring new brands something that keeps on coming making it such a fun surprise and a nice guilt-free treat to look forward to. Value-wise this box was definitely solid, my only complaint is I wished it included chocolate, but this is just a personal preference but other than that I’d say well done Pink Parcel!
