This month, innovation and a host of new discoveries are at the forefront of the *June Glossybox so if you want to shake up your beauty routine this summer then the line up features a collective of exciting and useful beauty finds from suncare must-haves to skincare, hair and make-up pick me ups and is definitely a curation that’s sparked my interest with a refreshing mix of new finds as well as a couple of brands I’m already familiar with. Everything also seems geared towards the season with some key essentials on board and combine the four full sized products too I’m really impressed.

Glossybox is a monthly beauty subscription service. The box consists of 4-5 selected hair, make-up , body and nail products from well-known brands and new brands and includes a mixture of full sized and sample products.

1.  Origins GinZing Energy Boosting Moisturiser – Sample Size 15ml. Full size RRP £24.00

How apt is the addition of the Origins GinZing Energy Boasting Moisturiser? This little orange tube kickstarts your day with a shot of caffeine extract from coffee beans (yay!) and Panax Ginseng to give your skin a boost of energy.

I was fully expecting to be hit by a strong, musky herbal smell due to the Ginseng but it doesn’t smell anything like it neither does it smell like coffee instead your senses are hit with oranges and it doesn’t fail to wake you up! I didn’t notice any glow but it did keep my my skin hydrated throughout the day.

2.  Emite Make up Lip & Cheek Tint – Full Size RRP £12.50

I’m not a hug fan of tints but the Emite Lip and Cheek tint has definitely rekindled my love for them, everything about it is just perfection from the formula to the very wearable shade and don’t be fooled by the deep red as it’s a really subtle hue that accentuates the natural shade of your lips. In terms of the formula it’s feather-light making it a great choice for this time of the year but the longevity isn’t great I’m afraid!

3.  Ladival Sun Protection Spray SPF 15 – Full Size 150ml. RRP £19.99

Some subscribers received a sun cream last month including myself so I’m little miffed as to why they’ve included another one which isn’t necessarily a bad thing as it will definitely get used up but for those who did miss out all subscribers can expect to see a very generous full size Ladival Sun Protection Spray that’s worth more than the actual box itself!

Ladival is a brand that I’ve seen quite a lot of recently and I can really see why as not only do they their products boast advanced ingredients but they host a wide array of skin-caring benefits to ensure we’re protected from harmful damaging rays, four times more than those currently on the market thanks to their advanced Infrared-A protection system (IR-D Infrared Defence™).

With an impressive ingredient list the formula claims to be gentle, non-greasy and does not contain any preservatives, perfumes, colorants, fats, paragons or PEG emulsifiers making Ladival ideal for sensitive or oily skin. It’s also water resistant and keeps working even when you go in the water.

4.  De Bruyere After Sun Lotion – Full Size 50ml. Full Size RRP £9.48

The De Gruyere After Sun Lotion makes the perfect pairing with the sun lotion and is such an essential for the summer.   Promising to treat sunburn or to prolong a tan it’s enriched with Monoï (gardenia petals soaked in coconut oil), and Vitamin E, to hydrate, nourish and calm skin with an amazing summery scent!

5. Spa to You Konjac Sponge – RRP £6.99

While this isn’t a new discovery for me I’m really delighted to see The Spa to You konjac Sponge, this squishy sponge feels amazingly gentle on the skin and will be your skin’s new best friend!

The Spa To You Konjac Sponge is made from 100% pure, natural konjac dietary fibre and due to it’s softness and gentleness, it’s ideal for everyone to use, including new born babies and those with delicate and sensitive skin. With daily usage, it promises to bring back the natural glow and softness of the skin.

6.  Aussie Hair Care 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor Deep Conditioner  – Sachet sample. RRP £1.09

Last but not least is the Aussie Hair Care 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor Deep Conditioner and is something I think the majority of us have tried at least once!

In a matter of minutes this 3 Minute Miracle will help reconstruct damaged hair, smoothing and soothing until it’s manageable and ready to go. Using a unique and very, very top-secret formula with Australian Balm Mint, this handy sachet is ideal to have on standby when your hair needs rescuing.

My Verdict

As much as I love seeing brands that I love and know, it’s such a nice change to see what’s new and up and coming in the Beauty industry and the June Glossybox has definitely put some great brands in the spotlight this month. With a very generous four full sized products as well as a couple of samples totalling a combined value of £50.05, I think there’s a great mix of summer must-haves that I’ll certainly be turning to during the warmer months and I have to say, I was impressed with pretty much everything and while I wasn’t expecting to like the Emite Lip & Cheek Tint, it’s the one product that surprised me the most – the beauty of beauty boxes!  Whether you’re home or away this month’s box will fight off whatever the sun throws at us as well as keeping our hair and skin glowing!

July Spoiler: Achieve flawless summer skin in your sleep with UTAN & Tone.
