It looks like the Pink Parcel fairy has worked her magic again as the *July edition is bursting at the seams and really does deliver on the pick me up front in addition to a generous amount of monthly essentials that have you covered from the first day to the very last. Not only is it a great resource for ensuring your fully stocked but it also does an excellent job in cheering you up when you need it the most.

With three dispatch dates to choose from, Pink Parcel literally take care of everything and will ship your box before your period is due. If you’re worried about flows and absorbency’s, they have that covered too as you can choose your preferred brand as well as the type of sanitary items to suit your flow making it completely bespoke to your needs.

1. Period Essentials

No matter what your cycle length is the amount of sanitary items and liners included within the box is impressive. You can also choose between receiving pads or tampons from a good selection of brands.

I was particularly happy to see popular brands on board such as Tampax, Always and Body Form. If you’re anything like me then this really helps avoid last-minute runs to the supermarket! There’s also a useful drawstring pouch filled with pads and liners that you can pop into your handbag straightaway.

As well as the above, you’ll also find a pack of Tampon Disposal bags from Fab Little Bag (RRP £1.99) however if you don’t use tampons then these can be used for liners instead!

2. Beauty & Lifestyle Treats – 7 Items

If you love discovering beauty products then this month’s edition has you covered with a line up that includes key essentials for everyday as well some additional treats to help you look and feel great all summer long!

If you read my posts regularly you’ll already know that I love affair with nail varnishes so I was happy to welcome the Lottie London Polish in ‘Rainy Days’ (RRP £5.99) to my out of control ever growing collection! It’s a lovely nude that you’ll be able to pull off all year round.

Fuelling another obsession of mine, the Patisserie De Bain Hand Cream in Cranberries & Cream (RRP £3.99) is another welcomed addition and it smells utterly delicious and leaves the skin feeling soft and nourished without that greasy feel.

What better way to soothe your tired summer feet than with the Freeman Bare Foot Lavender & Mint Foot Cream (Sachet sample RRP £1.50), an Aroma-therapeutic foot cream that promises to deliver skin-soothing comfort as Vitamin E improves skin softness.

If you love anything rose gold then you’ll love the oh so pretty Vintage Cosmetic Company Slanted Rose Gold Tweezers (RRP £8), are fantastic quality, sharp and being slanted  they do a wonderful job of gripping even the tiniest hairs and it’s an exclusive launch inside this months Pink Parcel which is so amazing plus there’s also a Vintage Cosmetic Company x Pink Parcel nail file printed with a 20% discount code.

On the make-up front you’ll find the Bellapierre Gel Eye Liner in Ebony (Full size RRP £14.00) that’s such an apt addition as it’s completely weather-proof meaning no matter what the weather throws at us it stays put so you don’t have to worry about those panda eyes. If there’s one make-up item I can’t live without it’s definitely eye liner and this one has very quickly become a favourite of mine.

Last but not least is the Jelly Pong Pong Supercharged Eyeshadow Duo in Lightning (RRP £17.95), a stunning duo that really packs a punch with a super intense, groundbreaking formula in a proprietary cream-powder concentrated base that allows extreme long wear and maximum pigment focus. Not something I’d wear during the day but it’s a great choice for the evenings.

4. Tea and Sweet Treats – 4 items

As well as the beauty line up you can also expect to see a sample of tea and a pack of indulgent and ever so yummy biscuits, the perfect mix to satisfy those cravings and as always they sure do hit the spot but they always disappear so quickly!

We all crave something sweet during the time of the month  and the pack of Bahlsen Choco Leibniz biscuits really satisfies those sweets cravings and you can also expect see a sample of the La Via Del Te Tisana Sweet Relax Tea.

My Verdict

Delivering those much needed pampering treats as well as bringing those days of being caught unprepared to an end, Pink Parcel have curated a lovely edition this month with a very fitting summer-ready line up showcasing some practical products for everyday, evenings out, as well as some much needed pick me ups in the form of biscuits and tea. As always they’ve covered a good ground with a little bit of everything so there really is something for everyone to enjoy plus I love that they’re always sourcing new products with a good rotation of brands as it makes that unboxing experience so much more exciting. If you’ve haven’t got on the Pink Parcel train yet then it’s definitely a subscription I highly recommend and the thrill of the surprise will not fail to make you look forward to that time of the month!
