When Love Me Beauty announced their new arrivals for July, one of the brands which caught my attention straight away was Pixi, a brand that I’ve been really impressed with and I just can’t resist a little visit to their store whenever I’m passing by Carnaby Street.

Making your eye area look that little bit brighter and more revived, the peachy shade masks any dark and blue tones and chock-full of the good stuff such as Rose hip extract, Vitamin, Vitamin C and Vitamin E to nourish and protect. My under eyes aren’t too bad, but my whole face definitely looked brighter.
The Pixi Lip Polish (Full Size RRP £14.00) is a 2-in-1 lip exfoliator + nourisher to help to repair & protect dry, sensitive lips. The luxe, nutrient-rich formula smoothes lips with shea butter & a blend of sweet almond, apricot, and evening primrose oils. The unique massage applicator stimulates circulation, giving a healthy, plumped effect.
2. Yes to Body Care
The Yes to Coconut Dry Skin Polishing Body Scrub (Full Size 280g RRP £10.00) is infused with Coconut Husk, a natural exfoliant from the Coconut Shell and promises to gently exfoliate the skin without irritation to reveal softer, smoother, healthier looking skin and provides the skin with vital nutrients to stay hydrated whilst Sweet Almond Oil offers natural moisturisation.
Featuring a 97% natural formula enriched with Virgin Coconut and Jojoba Oils, the Ultra Light Body Lotion Spray (Full Size 295ml RRP £12.00) boasts being cruelty-free and is the perfect summer moisturiser and travel companion that comes with a handy spray nozzle making application easier and faster than a traditional lotion or cream. It’s non-greasy formula surprisingly is a cream as opposed to a mist and really packs a punch on the hydrating front without feeling too heavy and literally takes seconds to sink in. I for one find moisturising the body incredibly dull but this spray option not forgetting the delicious scent is definitely a winner.
3. Caudalie Skin Care – (15 credits each)
On the skincare front you can expect to see some skincare heroes from Caudalie, a brand that has very quickly made it’s way to my everyday regime.
The Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet (Sample size 10ml) is my go-to in the mornings, it promises to calm irritated and stressed skin with a gel-cream formula that has immediate soothing properties and leaves skin refreshed and comfortable. The formula reactivates the skin’s hydration mechanisms and restores its water reserves. The formula is seriously dreamy and really lives up to everything you would associate with a sorbet from its light-weight texture to the amazingly refreshing feeling and while it’s feels weightless it certainly doesn’t compromise on the hydrating front making it the perfect base for make up too.
If you’re in need of pick me up then the Caudalie Glycolic Peel Mask (Travel Size 25ml) comes in a handy sized tube and promised to perk up dull complexions. In as little as 10 minutes, this mask sloughs away dead skin and gives the skin a lease of new life. It’s formulated with 85.7% natural origin ingredients, which include viniferine, papaya enzymes, and glycolic acid to help leave the skin glowing.
4. O.P.I Nail Varnish (20 credits)
In addition to the lotions and potions, you can also expect to see four O.P.I nail varnishes and this one in the shade Lucky Lucky Lavender (Full Size RRP £12.50) is a creamy purple pastel and is a beautiful hue for this time of the year.
My Verdict
If you like to look your best, even when jet lagged, under-the-weather or when travelling around in the sticky hot heat then these new additions within the Love Me Beauty Boutique are great for all climates and some of the treats also have multi-purpose uses which is always a bonus when you’re trying to pack light. I love that they centred this month’s offerings around a theme as everything seems more gelled together plus they’ve partnered with some great brands this month too.
