There’s beauty boxes and then there’s the *Look Incredible Deluxe edition and just when you think you’ve seen the very best out of them they go and pull out quite possibly the best curation to date for their August edition! Featuring a wealth of quality brands this month’s box really has the wow factor for me and showcases feminine washes of colour that will take you from day to night effortlessly. Featuring mainly make-up there’s so much to love not forgetting the AH-mazing brands on board, Inside there’s six items inside something you can always expect to see and it’s another value for money edition which totals an incredible £90.49.
On the skincare front you can expect to see the Pro Collagen Hydra Gel Eye Mask (x2 £16.99) by the skincare gurus Elemis. These hydra gel eye masks are formulated to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and contain potent plankton extract, combined with padina pavonica and chlorella that provide a skin-tightening effect, whilst hyaluronic acid hydrates the fragile eye area. Leaving the eye area feeling refreshed with a cooling sensation, the mask moulds to your skin and stays in place so it’s a great choice when you are getting ready to go out or relaxing on the sofa at home.
If you read my blog regularly you’ll know that I very rarely step outside the black eyeliner zone but oh my this is definitely an exception, it’s absolutely stunning! The Giorgio Armani Waterproof Eyeliner in Copper (RRP £22.00) is an instant eye brightener and is creamy, glides on effortlessly without any tugging and the peachy shade really is a unique addition to my make-up stash.
A hybrid between a lipstick and a gloss, the Too Faced La Creme Color Drenched Lipstick in I want Candy (RRP £18.00) really is a little ray of sunshine and will not fail to get you into that summer mood. The glossy and moisturising finish has great pigmentation, something I wasn’t expecting as these types of formulas are usually quite sheer. With a Vegan friendly and Paraben free formula, it’s also infused with Lotus Flower Extract, peptides and anti-oxidants. *shades may vary
The Clinique Chubby Stick Cheek Colour Blush in Plumped Up Peony (RRP £19.00) are packaged very similarly to their Chubby Stick lipsticks, except these are much chubbier! Plumped Up Peony is a beautiful berry toned blush with no shimmer or glitter and leans more towards the sheer side, but it’s very buildable something I prefer so I can ensure I don’t end up with bright clown cheeks! The formula is very smooth, creamy, easy to blend and offers the loveliest glow to the cheeks.
Just like it’s powder counterpart, the Benefit Hervana Ultra Plush Lip Gloss (RRP £14.50) is such a universally flattering hue that will suit a variety of complexions. This perfect summer accessory offers a a glowing pink-ish nude tint to lips. It glides on like a dream, is super smooth and feels incredibly moisturising on the lips.
My Verdict
I think you’ll agree there’s so much to love about the lust-worthy August Look Incredible Deluxe edition, it really does come with the wow factor this month and in comparison to previous editions this month’s box has definitely made it’s way to the top of the list. In terms of the brands and the selection of products they’ve really nailed it in terms of my likes I absolutely adore the feminine pops of colour and the Elemis Eye Masks are a really handy addition for travel or a quick pick me up. Showcasing a wealth of quality brands with a line up dominated mainly by make-up (yay!) it’s a great haul that’s definitely worth the £35.00 splurge!
