The September *Look Incredible Deluxe edition has landed and it’s another fabulous curation that contains a double dose of Too Faced (yay!), a pretty lip colour from Tarte and a skincare treat from Bareminerals and while I’m delighted with their picks I can’t help but feel their standard edition has stole the show this month. Once again they’ve featured some great brands with a line up that showcases mainly make-up line up and excitingly within the mix it features a palette I’ve been wanting to try for so long!

Here’s a quick overview of what’s inside this month’s edition:

On the skincare front you can expect to see the bareMinerals Deep Cleansing Foam (Full Size RRP £20.00) that’s powered by the bareMinerals ActiveSoil Complex. Described as a non-drying formula which bursts into a rich lather when activated with water it deep cleans pores and instantly refreshes your skin, lifting away any impurities. Formulated without parabens, synthetic fragrances and artificial oils, this sounds perfect to keep my oily skin in check.

Who doesn’t love a good filter on Instagram! I was very excited when I saw the Too Faced #Tfnofilter Selfie Powders (RRP £32.00) inside this month’s box as it’s something I’ve been wanting to try for so long! This ingenious palette contains light filtering photo enhancing powders which are designed to disperse light that reflects on the skin to instantly brighten any complexion, all while setting your make up and reducing shine.

Black eyeliner is a staple within my make up bag so it’s always a welcomed addition as I enjoy trailing other brands to see how they stand up against my beloved Charlotte Tilbury liner – unfortunately to date nothing’s come close! The Too Faced Bulletproof 24 Hour Shadow Liner (RRP £19) in the shade Ooh and Aaah  promises 24 hour wear and a creamy texture which can be smoked out before it sets down. The product itself is double ended, with a standard twist-up dispenser for the eyeliner, and a foam tip for blending at the other end. The waterproof and stay-put claims of this liner is very accurate and once on it doesn’t shift! While the longevity is great as an eyeliner, I found it really difficult to achieve a smokey eye as it sets very fast and doesn’t give you enough time to blend.

The LipSurgence Natural Matte Lip Stain (worth £18.50) in the shade Lucky is another firm favourite inside this month’s box. While the formula is matte, it does a fantastic job at keeping your lips hydrated. Infused with skinvigorating™ ingredients like vitamins C & E, this nourishing formula smooths the appearance of lips while delivering natural-looking colour with a soft matte finish. I love the subtle hue it’s the perfect 9 to 5 shade.

My Verdict

Look Incredible hardly disappoint with their editions and without fail there’s always something that I manage to fall in love with but the main appeal for me is the fact it introduces me to products from brands that I love and know, majority of which are all from the aisles of department stores so it’s a great way to add to your current stash without making a hefty splurge. In terms of the products they’ve really nailed it again in terms of my likes and needs, I don’t think there’s anything that I won’t continue to use but having said that their standard box definitely sparked my interest more this month! As always everything’s full sized so it’s a great haul for only £35.00.
