This month’s *Cohorted Beauty Box has arrived and I absolutely love what they’ve featured for their September edition. Containing a double dose of my favourite hair care brand, a stunning eyeshadow palette, a neutral nail polish shade and a sample from MAC it’s a really good all rounder and boasts both well-known brands in addition to a new find too. The majority is full sized so it’s a fantastic haul for £35.00 and is the perfect destination for that much needed beauty fix or a guilt-free treat!

The September edition showcases the brands Percy & Reed, Kure BazaarCargo and MAC all of which are beautifully presented inside their signature black box secured with a ribbon giving it a very luxurious look and feel. Here’s a quick overview of what they featured for September:

Ok, so I may be a little biased but I love that there’s a double dose of Percy & Reed inside this month’s box! Not only are they my favourite hair care brand ever but their products really work wonders for my unruly hair so I was delighted to see them featured. The Percy & Reed No Fuss Fabulousness Dry Shampoo (full size RRP £12.00) is excitingly something I already love and use so this will definitely get used up very quickly!

The Wonder Overnight Recovery (full size RRP £18.00) is a fairly new addition to the Percy & Reed line and promises to transform your hair while you sleep. This ingenious, leave-in treatment absorbs instantly into dry hair, helping to nourish, rehydrate and even to repair damage. Containing natural protein boosts the hair’s ability to retain moisture, while potent conditioning agents resist humidity, fight frizz and boost shine.

You really can’t go wrong with a pale pink nail polish, it goes with every outfit and fits every occasion so this new discovery from Kure Bazaar (RRP £15.00) in the shade French Rose is such a welcomed addition. I love the dainty hue, it such a versatile shade that you’ll be able to pull off all year round.

I think Cargo is a totally under appreciated brand but thanks to Cohorted I’ve been introduced to quite a few of their make up bits and the Land Down Under Palette (RRP £35.00) is just another gem from their collection. Inspired by the fabled sights and beaches of Australia, this palette mimics the theme perfectly, it features sunburnt browns and golds that flatter all skin-tones in addition to some cool toned shades in ocean-hued blues and a bright foliage green. I usually shy away from bold shades but this palette strikes the perfect balance and features some every day neutral shades along with a few bright pops of green and blues that look absolutely stunning when swatched.

Last but not least is a sample of the MAC False Lashes Mascara (sample size 3ml) and is something I already own so it’s always handy to have a miniature. For me personally this works best for lengthening and applies really smoothly without clumping even after a couple of coats. For those who have short lashes, the MAC False Lashes will definitely lend a helping hand if you’re more interested in lengthening rather than volume.

My Verdict

This month’s Cohorted edition definitely had my name written all over it and while some subscribers may not appreciate two products from the same brand which I totally get I’m delighted that I’ve got a back up of the dry shampoo plus something new to trial from the Percy & Reed line as my unruly hair is going to need all the help it can get as we approach the colder months! In addition to the hair care there’s a nice assortment of make up plus a new find from Kure’s so it’s another well rounded box this month. I think Cohorted have definitely upped their game as of late and I really hope curations like these are something we’ll see more of however I can’t help but feel the overall value has slipped a teeny bit but nonetheless I’m delighted with my new beauty treats!

If you lust over premium and high end brands or simply want a guilt-free treat each month the Cohorted Beauty Box really is great for that.
