The change of seasons is always bittersweet especially when transitioning from summer to autumn and while I love being snuggled up inside a blanket, burning my favourite candle in the evening, and being able to dig out my beloved boots I’m really not liking the chill in the air and the dark nights drawing in! On a brighter note this month’s Nourish Beauty Box comes to the rescue full of cheer and features such a lovely line up consisting of make up and skin care to sustain that summer glow.

Every month, the Nourish Beauty Box will offer 3 full-sized beauty products ranging from skincare/bodycare to makeup products, plus a limited edition eco-friendly tote bag, all of which can be purchased within their online shop if you happen to fall in love with something. The price of the box is $34.95 (£23.00)/month (FREE Worldwide delivery) and subscribers get at least $70 (around £46.00+) retail value in every box.

The October edition features products from Seraphine BotanticalsTisserand, Peony Cosmetics and a limited edition eco-friendly canvas tote bag from Nourish Beauty Box.

1.  Tisserand Argan Beauty Oil – Full Size RRP £16.00

I’ve been wanting to explore more from Tisserand so I was really delighted to see their Argan Beauty Oil within this month’s line up. Benefiting from being 100 % Natural and fragrance-free this rich-textured oil is extracted from the fruit kernels of the Moroccan Argan tree and is packed with skin-nutrient vitamins A and E and nourishing fatty acids.

Ideal for dry or mature skin and for smoothing the texture of hair, this really packs a punch and is a little on the heavy side texture wise for my oily skin (sad face)!

Argan Oil is renowed for its multi-purpose uses and not only does it provides deep hydration and nourishment for thirsty skin but it also acts as a barrier against all those nasty winter elements making it such an handy addition for the colder months.

2. Peony Cosmetics Pink Cloud Blush – Full Size RRP £15.57

I’m such a sucker for anything in the pink family especially when it comes to make up! Described as a luscious powder blush that transforms your entire complexion from sallow to healthy, it’s infused with Argan Oil with a soft, airy formula

On first swatch the formula has a nice, medium level of pigmentation that gives your cheeks a healthy looking flush without looking overdone and it’s buildable too.

3. Seraphine Botanicals Tinted Rose Balm – Full Size RRP £20.24

The Tinted Rose Balm is hand-blended with Bulgarian Rose & Rosehip Fruit oil, providing an abundance of rich Omega 6 fatty acids, antioxidants and essential botanical oils which nourish, condition, and soften the lips. Shea Butter acts as a natural SPF (6) protectant, Carnauba Wax seals in hydration to lips while tomato extract provides a tinted glow. The shade is a beautiful pinkish red and actually looks quite flattering on my skin tone, something I wasn’t expecting at all. The only aspect I didn’t like was the overpowering rose scent!

4. Eco-Friendly Canvas Tote Bag with Limited Edition Print – RRP £15.71

As always you can expect to see a Eco-friendly canvas bag with a different design each month and while these do tend to pile up they are the perfect companions for shopping trips as the material is super light yet robust plus they look the part too!

My Verdict

The Nourish Beauty Box is definitely my go-to when it comes to exploring natural and organic beauty brands/products and the more I trial the more I find myself gravitating towards this option so it’s a great choice for those who want to make the switch or explore more from an industry that’s ever evolving. With a new season upon us I love that they’ve featured something to weather proof our skin against the winter elements in addition to a couple of make up treats to keep that summer glow, all of which are tucked inside an ever so cheerful bag design! While the oil felt a little heavy on my oily skin I’m hoping it injects some much needed moisture into my parched hair instead! In terms of the price point the Nourish Beauty box is a little more steep in comparison to other subscriptions but you can always expect to see full sized products with RRP’s that always exceeds the monthly subscription cost and they do feature brands that offer quality products and amazing ingredients.

If you love organic, natural and cruelty-free products or want to detoxify your beauty regime with a more friendly alternative the Nourish Beauty Box is the perfect way to enhance your beauty the natural way and also benefits the environment too.
