With the party season fast approaching, Glossybox have come up with a pretty awesome curation for their *November edition to get us prepped, primed and pampered tip to toe – they’ve really got us covered with quite a few handy additions! Featuring a little bit of everything ranging from skin, body and hair fixes as well as a gorgeous make up discovery and chocolate (yay!) it’s another well-rounded addition that puts both familiar and unknown brands in the spotlight plus the majority is full sized so it’s another great value for money haul this month.
Glossybox is a monthly beauty subscription service. The box consists of 4-5 selected hair, make-up , body and nail products from well-known brands and new brands and includes a mixture of full sized and sample products.
1. De Bruyere Jumbo Eye Pencil – Full Size RRP £13.35
Last month Glossybox revealed that all subscribers will receive this Jumbo Eye Pencil from De Bruyere, a French brand that some of us got to experience inside our June edition in the form of the aftersun lotion.
Khaki grey is a very pretty metallic hue and is something I’ll definitely be able to incorporate into a multitude of looks. Formula wise, it’s creamy, blendable and best of all it looks so flattering and I can definitely see this suiting all skin tones.
2. Large Tapered Blending Brush from Ruby Professional – Full Size RRP £7.12
When it comes to mastering that perfect smokey eye, a blending brush is definitely a must have within my collection to achieve a defined finish especially when blending around the crease. While I already own a few of these brushes I guess I wasn’t overly excited to see this but it comes from a brand I’m not familiar with so it will be interesting to see how this performs.
3. 111Skin Bio Cellulose Facial Treatment Mask – x1 RRP £20.00
When a medic from Harley Street combines his experience with hi-tech cutting edge technology, amazing results and pound signs spring to mind! The 111SKIN Bio Cellulose Mask which retails for an eye watering £20.00 utilises the most advanced mask technology on the market to deliver beneficial nutrients into the dermis and mimics a second skin. The gel like structure of the mask will instantly cool, regulate body temperature, instantly locks moisture into your skin and enables a deeper penetration of three key ingredients such as Arbutin to brighten, Silk Amino Acids to condition and Centella Asiatica to stimulate collagen production.
In terms of the price, this mask is very expensive and makes some really bold claims so I’m expecting wonderful things!
4. Nanogen Root Boost Hair Thickening Spray – Sample Size 30ml
This light, fast-absorbing hair thickening spray promises to lift each root and thicken every strand with just a few spritzes! You simply spray from root to tip, give your hair a blast of warm air to activate the thickening proteins and the result -thick, bouncy hair that’s full of life!
I love to turn up my hair volume especially for special occasions so this is definitely something I’m looking forward to trying out even more so as the reviews are pretty amazing.
5. Wilkinson Sword Quattro for Women Raspberry Rain Disposable Razors – X3 RRP £5.69
Last but not least and something I’ll definitely get use out of is the Wilkinson Sword Quattro for Women Raspberry Rain Disposable Razors which comes in a pack of three. With a raspberry scented handle and 4 high performance blades, the razor promises to give you an incredibly close, smooth shave for long lasting smooth legs. The ergonomic rubber handle is easy to grip making it so much better than your average disposable razor plus it smells so fruity!
My Verdict
I think this month’s Glossybox was curated so well, it contained things I’ll definitely make use out of and every single product inside matched the theme perfectly – the chocolate was a nice touch too! I love the variety this month, it contained everything from daily essentials to evening must haves but what stood out the most was all the new discoveries mainly from brands I’ve not come across before so it was definitely an exciting unboxing! So far the eye crayon is my personal favourite but I’m particularly excited to try out the mask and the hair thickening spray both of which have glowing reviews! Four out of the five products featured are full sized and totals up to £46.16 so it’s another good value edition this month.
