New brides to be rejoice as this brand new subscription launch is just for you! Wedding planning is exciting and fun but on the other hand it’s also immensely stressful and exhausting especially when you’re trying to perfect every single detail for your big day and I for one was ever so relieved when it was all over and done with – if only back then there was a subscription box for inspiration and ideas for the big day as well as products to help step up your beauty routine in the months leading up to your wedding and even after! Cue the *Witwoo Box which not only is a beautiful packaged distraction but it’s such a welcomed concept to the subscription box market and the only one of its kind in the UK – I wish someone gifted me something like this!

Founded in 2016, the Witwoo Box is the UK’s first monthly bridal beauty and lifestyle subscription box that offers subscribers sought-after makeup, skincare, haircare, nail care, fragrance products in addition to a glossy magazine with tips and tricks to help us plan, prepare & pamper before the special day and even after. With subscriptions starting from £20.00, each month you’ll discover 5 full-size products all beautifully packaged inside their signature box. It doesn’t end there though as they also have a team of wedding and beauty experts, who will guide you through your wedding journey offering advice, tips, wedding inspiration and the best suppliers to help plan your special day – genius right?

Here’s a quick overview of the products inside their first ever debut:

Whether you’ve got a busy day ahead of you or just need a quick pick me up say hello to the Grounded Face Scrub (60g RRP £8.95), a guilt-free way to get your coffee fix in the morning! With a hint of sweet orange oil, this face scrub packed with the vitamins and minerals for extra soft skin and a bright complexion. The formula is made up of extra fine ground Robusta coffee, brown sugar and sea salt to to slough away any dry, dead or flakey skin and also benefits from vitamin E, cold pressed sweet Almond oil and extra virgin Coconut Oil to keep the skin hydrated while the added bonus of Sweet Orange oil and Vitamin C help cleanse pores and brighten the skin.

Up next we have the ultimate treat from Spectrum Collections, a brand that very quickly captured my love when they featured inside a previous Birchbox and needless to say they are my preferred choice when it comes to make up brushes. Inspired by mermaids there’s so much to love about their Tapered Powder Brush (RRP £7.99), a medium sized brush for fine application of highlighter, bronzer, or translucent powder to give you the perfect finishing touch and not only does it look awesome, the softness of the bristles feels pretty amazing on the face too.

To get your glow on the Manna Kadar Radiance Bronzer & Highlighter (RRP £16.70) is a really pretty duo of complementing shimmery shades. The formula is smooth and buttery, and is a great choice to fake that sun-kissed look and perk up dull winter skin – it can also be used as an eye shadow too!

I love multi-purpose products and the Dr Lipp Original Nipple Balm (RRP £12.00) is something that’s extremely versatile, healing and nourishing thanks to one key ingredient, Lanolin. The formula is 100% natural, hyper allergenic, odourless and contains no parabens. I already use this as a lip balm and it’s great for chapped or sore lips and is a true hero during the colder months. The balm isn’t just restricted for the lips, it soothes dry and sensitive skin and can be used for dry cuticles, dry skin patches, burns and abrasions, sore nipples, split ends and eczema.

On the nails front is the Nails Inc Nail Gel Effect Polish in Mayfair Lane (RRP £15.00), a pretty pale pink that’s the perfect hue for all year round! I love the gel effect polishes from Nails Inc as not only do they give you that high shine salon finish but they also wear well usually a week for me.

Last but not least and an extra gift this month is the Witwoo Tote Bag, a good sized bag that you can use around the house to store your planning paperwork or when you’re out and about shopping.

My Verdict

So there you have it, the first ever debut of the UK’s first beauty box for brides to be and it’s a very positive first impression and something that definitely has a place in the subscription market.

From the beautiful packaging to the intricate attention to detail it feels like a true treat even before you’ve had a chance to delve into contents! I really love the idea behind this box, I think it’s a great way to de-stress and check out some fun new products and ideas! Line up wise everything’s full sized and covers a good area of beauty from skin care, make up and nails not forgetting the extra treat in the form of the gorgeous tote bag. Even if you’re not a bride-to-be, the box would make a super cute engagement gift for a friend or family member plus did I mention you can also purchase this box for £25.00 without subscribing!
