If you’re a regular reader of my blog, you’re probably aware that I’m a huge fan of my Pink Parcel delivery and although I wasn’t so in love with last month’s offering their February edition has made up for the shortfall and is most definitely one I’ve been excited about ever since I had a cheeky peek at the spoiler! Covering a good area on the beauty and lifestyle front this month’s theme is all about self-love something that’s certainly lacking within my busy lifestyle at the moment but with no plans this weekend I’m certainly going to make the most of that pampering time! This little survival kit not only is a great resource that equips you fully in terms of sanitary essentials but it also delivers cheer and key essentials to help you look and feel more human again!

Pink Parcel is a subscription service for your monthly cycle who send you what you need, right when you need it as well as some lovely treats to brighten up those days of the month. With three dispatch dates to choose from, Pink Parcel literally take care of everything and will ship your box before your period is due. If you’re worried about flows and absorbencies, they have that covered too as you can choose your preferred brand as well as the type of sanitary items to suit your flow making it completely bespoke to your needs.

Without further ado here’s what you can expect to see inside this month’s Pink Parcel:

1. Period Essentials

No matter what your cycle length is the amount of sanitary items and liners included within the box is impressive. You can also choose between receiving pads or tampons from a good selection of brands.

I was particularly happy to see popular brands on board such as Tampax, Always and Body Form. If you’re anything like me then this really helps avoid last-minute runs to the supermarket! There’s also a useful drawstring pouch filled with pads and liners that you can pop into your handbag straightaway.

2. Beauty and Lifestyle Treats – 5 Items

Up first we the Merci Handy Toothpaste (Full size RRP £3.42), a brand whose products I’ve really enjoyed discovering – they just smell so divine! So a tube of toothpaste may not be a glamorous addition but it’s certainly a practical addition and I’m really intrigued to see how they’ve incorporated their fun scents into something that’s undoubtedly a little dull! Using 98% natural ingredients, it contains a fruity burst of blackcurrant! I can’t say I’ve been so excited to try out a toothpaste well that was until now!

I’ve had the most crappiest week at work so this weekend will consist of relaxing and pretty much doing nothing which is very rare and the soapNskin Lavender & Lime with Calendula Oil Himalayan Crystal Bath Salts (Travel size 50g) is definitely on the agenda for that all important pampering time! Infused with lavender, lime & calendula oils and topped with dried lavender buds, these salts create a wonderfully detoxing and relaxing bath soak.

Sticking to the pampering theme you can also expect to see one of three variations of a sheet mask from Vitamasques (RRP £3.99). I received the Pomegranate Face Mask which promises to moisturise and lift your skin with an innovative triple layer sheet technology designed to enhance the moisture content within the mask which in turns leads to an increased absorption rate within the skin.

Up next is the Trifle Cosmetics Buttercream (Full Size RRP £12.95), a delicious, buttercream-scented body lotion that hydrates your skin without any stickiness. Formulated to revitalize parched skins and restore suppleness to your skin, the scent will leave you smelling delicious just like a cupcake!

Even though I own more nail varnish than I could probably use in a lifetime, I still love receiving them inside my boxes! Unfortunately I’m not fan of this particular pale peach shade in Amazing Gracie by Ciate (RRP £9.00) but I’ll definitely give it a go and hope by doubling up the coats it might not look so bad!

On the lifestyle front is the exclsuive Pom Heart Hoop Necklace (RRP £12.99) that’s been especially created for Pink Parcel Subscribers. This very delicate necklace is ever so pretty.

3. Tea and Sweet Treats – 3 items

As well as the beauty and lifestyle line up you can also expect to see a sample of tea and foodie treats, the perfect mix to satisfy those cravings and as always they sure do hit the spot but always disappear so quickly!

Inside this month’s curation you’ll find a generous line up consisting of the Divine White Chocolate Bar (RRP £1.00), Lovolio Fondant Lovelies (RRP £3.00) and a sample of the Yuyo Yerba Mint Tea.

My Verdict

Working full-time, blogging and life in general sometimes seems to overtake all at once leaving me with very little time for pampering and recuperation, so after a week of feeling rather frazzled I was delighted to see this month’s Pink Parcel and it’s the perfect excuse and line up to take some time out and indulge! Their February edition features some great highlights and with nine products crammed inside the box it’s another value for money edition and is definitely one of favourite curations from them. With no plans this weekend, I should be recharged and fresh-faced come Monday – a brand new me fingers crossed!

If you haven’t got on the Pink Parcel train yet then it’s definitely a subscription I highly recommend and the thrill of the surprise will not fail to make you look forward to that time of the month!
