Sunnier days definitely call for brighter and fresher scents and is just one of the things I undoubtedly love most about spring and Secret Scent Box for their April edition have featured three travel sized spring-appropriate scents. Showcasing a collection of beautiful florals as well as something a little more mysterious for the evenings too, together they represent the season perfectly. If you’re new to Secret Scent Box, it’s a monthly subscription that contains three surprise fragrances with at least 30 days use and with popular perfume houses within their portfolio it’s the perfect destination to trial new launches and classics in the comfort of your own home and also boasts being letter box friendly too so you don’t have to worry about missed deliveries!

Here’s what they featured inside their March edition:

1. Ted Baker W

Top notes: fig leaf, peony, african violet and parma violet. Middle notes: cassis, orchid and raspberry. Base notes: vanilla and cedar.

W from Ted Baker is described as a gentle, sophisticated fragrance created for the modern woman. I’ve not tried any of Ted Baker’s fragrances before I tried W but I really love this, it’s floral and is such a fun and youthful scent.

2. Cacharel Amor Amor

Top notes: Blackcurrant, Orange, Mandarin Orange, Cassia, Grapefruit, Bergamot. Middle notes: Apricot, Lily, Jasmine, Lily-of-the-Valley, Rose. Base notes: Amber, Tonka Bean, Vanilla, Virgina Cedar, Musk

Another favourite and a new discovery among the line up is Amor Amor by Cahcharel, an easy to love, sweet floral with some fruitiness thrown in. This is such a pretty and feminine scent that’s sweet, light and fresh and transitions so well from day to night.

3. Guerlain Mon Guerlain

Top notes: Bergamot, Carla, Lavender. Middle notes: Paradise, Sambac Jasmine, Coumarin. Base notes: Iris, Vanilla Tahitensis, Album Sandalwood

I’ve tried a a couple of scents from Guerlain and unfortunately I just wasn’t a fan this but this new launch is so elegant, feminine and lovely! The opening is fresh and floral and then turns a delicate and soft scent that’s perfect for evenings out.

My Verdict

Last month’s edit wasn’t to my liking but this month’s offering definitely makes up for the shortfall as their April line-up hit all the right notes when it comes to my personal preferences even more so as I’m extremely picky when it comes to fragrances. I love the selection they handpicked and each scent was perfect for this time of the year but the scent that surprised me the most was W by Ted Baker and it’s super affordable too however the only downside is the longevity isn’t the greatest. With three good sized travel samples you’ll have at least 30 days use and I really appreciate the letter box friendly sized box as there’s nothing worse than missing a delivery plus everything’s packaged nice and snug meaning the samples are guaranteed to arrive in one piece! If you don’t have a daily go-to scent or just want to try something new then it’s worth checking out Secret Scent Box and they also do a men’s box too.
