It’s that time of the month again and I’ve got to admit I’ve really struggled shortlisting my beauty pick of the month as April’s been a pretty great month for subscription boxes and while it’s great to offer your opinion on the latest launches or pretty make-up that’s instaworthy I thought it would be nice to talk about a product that garners less recognition yet is such a staple for everyday…cue my April Beauty Pick of the Month!
If you’re a regular reader of my blog, you’re probably already aware that I’m a huge fan of Merci Handy products and ever since I discovered their Hand Cleansing Gels they have very quickly become permanent residents inside my handbag and at my desk at work and thanks to this month’s Glossybox and Look Fantastic Beauty Box I gained two more additions to my collection. As you can see I’ve been on a little mission to collect them all and I think I’m just missing two so if anyone comes across ‘Oh My Lemon’ or ‘Coco Rico’ please let me know!
Born in Paris, Merci Handy make everyday cosmetics, with lots of love and tenderness in the form of hands cleansing gels, refreshing face mists, hands cream and even toothpaste – they quite simply put the fun back into beauty products!
When it comes to keeping my hands germ-free these Hand Cleansing Gels are pretty much my favourite product – they come in a wide range of scents, they’re a little over priced at £2.70 (30ml) but their practical size makes them really are easy to use and are perfect for when you’re on the go too plus I love that they’ve transformed something rather dull into something super colourful, fun, cute and fragrant.
So what’s so special I hear you ask? Well these still have alcohol in them to kill germs, but they also have skin-beneficial ingredients such as tiny emollient pearls, Vitamin E, Aloe barbadensis leaf juice and Glycerin to keep our hands hydrated and protected, plus they smell so, so good!
