You know what the best cure is for a bad day? A good soak in the bath accompanied by your favourite bath bomb to instantly lift the mood and retreat to that happy place – something I really need to dedicate more time to! With this in mind, there’s a brand new subscription launch from Miss Fizz who send out four bath time treats in the form of bath bombs straight to your door, each with their own unique design and fragrance. All of the bath bombs are handmade, cruelty free and sourced from small businesses here in the UK, meaning you will get to try unique and fragrant bath bombs that you wouldn’t necessarily come across otherwise and on first glance not only do they look pretty but the fragrances are just as lovable and there’s one for all occasions and moods! Don’t forget to take advantage of my exclusive 20% off code at the end of this post!

The Miss Fizz bath bomb subscription box costs just £10 + £2.99 P&P on their monthly plan, which can be cancelled or paused at any time.Your first box will be shipped straight away so you won’t have to wait long to start enjoying your subscription. Recurring boxes are then billed on the 1st of each month and shipped on the 15th.

Here’s a quick overview of what was inside their May edition:

Up first and a true treat for the evenings after a long day at work is the Whole Lot of Love Bath Bomb (RRP £3.50) which not only is delicately scented with rose to help you relax and unwind but the rose petals in the centre can also be picked out and scattered in the bath beforehand which is such a lovely touch and sets the scene perfectly – all that’s missing is a glass of bubbly and some candles!

My ultimate favourite is CocoBanana (RRP £3.50), a fruity cocktail of coconut and banana which sounds like a great mood lifter and judging by the scent this bath bomb will not fail to turn your bathroom into a tropical paradise! It’s made with crushed dried banana and desiccated coconut to hydrate the skin.

Wonder ball (RRP £3.50) is a floral bath bomb that’s made with orris root and extracts of birch leaves and the colour of the water transforms from yellow to blue just like magic!

Last but not least and something to delight that inner child within us is Glam Rocks (RRP £3.50), a bath bomb that’s laced with brightly coloured glittering salts and promises to deliver an effervescent bathing experience, retro style!

My Verdict

I’m a strong believer in the power of a good bubble bath, they always seem to make the worst days a little bit better and the Miss Fizz Box is such a fun and refreshing addition to the subscription realm and is something I can see being popular with both kids and adults! Geared towards all moods and occasions, the box featured a good mix of bath bombs and between the scents, colours and the ingredients list each one is completely unique. For me the only downside is the value which totals up to around £14.00 which isn’t great when you take into account the price of the subscription but if you want to explore some under the radar bath bombs that are hand-made, high quality and cruelty-free then the Miss Fizz is the perfect destination for that all important ‘me time’!
