This month’s My Little Box has landed and as expected arrived aptly dressed for summer centred around a Los Angeles theme with beautiful artwork to match created by the one and only and very talented Kanako! Covering a good balance on the beauty and lifestyle front, I think I was more drawn to the lifestyle treats as opposed to the beauty products this month however having said that I do love that all the body care they’ve featured have coconut infused in them as nothing says summer like the smell of coconuts so I thought this was a nice touch!

My Little Box is a hand-picked and beautifully designed box of beauty, fashion and lifestyle surprises. With fashion accessories, beauty products and other goodies created exclusively for you and based around a different theme every month, each box promises to delight their subscribers. They also produce their very own in-house beauty products known as My Little Beauty.

Here’s what they featured inside their June edition:

1. The Beauty Products – 3 Items

Each month My Little Box include 3-4 beauty products from both well-known and emerging brands, all of which are either are generous full sizes or samples.

Up first is the Burt’s Bees Soap Bark and Chamomile Cleansing Cream (Travel Size 20g), a deep cleansing cream that’s formulated with natural soap bark to gently remove dirt, excess oil and makeup and is infused with chamomile and aloe to soften skin while the hint of menthol, known for its cooling properties. It’s also 99.9% natural and contains no parabens, phthalates or petrolatum.

On the body care front we have the Palmer’s coconut oil body lotion (Travel size 50ml) which contains ethically and sustainably sourced Coconut Oil and Tahitian Monoï Oil, infused with Tiaré flower petals. These raw, natural ingredients deliver luxuriously rich moisturisation for decadently pampered skin. It provides 24 hour moisturisation and contains high levels of naturally occurring fatty acids and proteins that are essential in keeping skin radiant and healthy looking.

Lastly and from the My Little Beauty collection is the Coco Sunrise Body and Hair oil (Full size 75ml). I’m yet to try this but the scent is really summery!

2. Lifestyle Items – 3 items

This month on the lifestyle front you can expect to see a Pom Pom Bracelet, Fluffy Stickers and a good sized Tote Bag which is the perfect size for lugging around those beach towels!

My Verdict

Again, and this is just my personal opinion I think there was lots they’ve could of done with this theme and I’d say the lifestyle treats somewhat outshone the beauty products this month but nevertheless everything does gel together well and seems pretty usable so it’s not a bad edit plus I’m absolutely loving the summer vibes they’ve incorporated inside this month’s theme and even a couple of the beauty products were infused with coconuts which was a really nice touch for this theme. Other than the stickers and the map of Los Angeles which was rather pointless, I think this was definitely one of their better attempts as I haven’t been overly wowed by the last two edits so here’s to hoping they deliver a good one for July.

If you love a mixture of unique lifestyle items that are exclusive to My Little Box only along with beauty treats then you really can’t go wrong with this pretty parisienne box.
