Today we have an unboxing and review of the July Pink Parcel and not only is it full of lovely surprises to lift the mood and help pamper us during that dreaded time of the month but it also completely eliminates the hassle of having to stock up last minute at the supermarket – something I really don’t miss! This month’s ‘Summer Chill’ edition is exactly that and features a pretty relaxed line-up and they’ve even managed to capture summer via scents and flavours which was such a lovely little touch! Once again it’s another solid line up and features a good balance on the beauty and lifestyle front from popular brands in addition to those that are little unknown.

Pink Parcel is a subscription service for your monthly cycle who send you what you need, right when you need it as well as some lovely treats to brighten up those days of the month. With three dispatch dates to choose from, Pink Parcel literally take care of everything and will ship your box before your period is due. If you’re worried about flows and absorbencies, they have that covered too as you can choose your preferred brand as well as the type of sanitary items to suit your flow making it completely bespoke to your needs.

Without further ado here’s what you can expect to see inside this month’s Pink Parcel:

Up first we have the Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Daily Cleansing Pads (sample size x 5 pads) which are great little multi-taskers! Soaked with glycerin, glycolic acid and sodium hydroxide (a.k.a hyaluronic acid) among the top ingredients, the pads provide extra exfoliation and hydration. They also make great lazy-day fixes when you want to cleanse, exfoliate, tone, and hydrate, in one easy step. Unlike other pads I’ve tried, these actually feel good on the skin and the formula is so gentle that it doesn’t cause any irritation or stinging from the acids or alcohol.

A pamper session wouldn’t be complete without a face mask and the Skin Lounge Firming Face Mask (RRP £4.00 -type may vary) promises to lift, restores firmness and provides vitality to dull and fatigued skin. Formulated with hyaluronic acid, trehalose and natural extracts of purslane and granada, this mask strengthens the skin’s elasticity and suppleness, helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and signs of aging. Skin immediately appears more firm, toned and sculpted.

On the hair care front is a completely new discovery from a newly launched brand called Chirp who combine the finest ingredients Mother Nature has to offer, to create decadent products that soothe, revitalise, and rejuvenate your face, skin, and hair – naturally! Their Softnest Hair Mask (sample size) is specifically designed to deliver softer, shinier and more manageable hair and is infused with a unique blend of nourishing oils that are easily absorbed into your hair providing ultimate hydration and nutrients to every strand, to restore hair from the inside out. I can’t use chemical-laden hair products due to my extensions so this good sized sachet will definitely get used.

Urban Veda was one of the first brands I took a liking to when I discovered the realm of beauty boxes so it’s lovely to be reacquainted again. Their Radiance Body Wash (Travel size 50ml) which by the way smells so lovely, is infused with brightening botanicals to enhance vitality and uplift lack-lustre skin and it’s packed with lots of goodness such as natural Ayurvedic herbs and botanical extracts.

Nothing says summer than the scent of coconuts and the Emily Victoria Candle (RRP £2.50) smells absolutely divine, comes in a cute miniature sized jar and burns for an incredible 8 hours!

Lastly is the POM Friendship Bracelet (£12.99), a bespoke gold-plated bracelet that’s been created exclusivily for Pink Parcel subscribers.

3.Tea and Sweet Treats – 2 items

As well as the beauty and lifestyle line up you can also expect to see a sample of tea/coffee and foodie treats the perfect mix to satisfy those cravings and as always they sure do hit the spot but always disappear so quickly!

Inside this month’s curation you can expect to see a packet of Joe & Sephs Coconut and Chia Popcorn, Truffles from Monty Bojangles (x3) and a Chill Out Mint Tea sample from Hoogly Tea

My Verdict

Another month, another well-thought out Pink Parcel! Covering all bases on the pampering front as well as incorporating those summer vibes I think they’ve done a fantastic job with their July edit – it certainly didn’t fail to lift the mood and the line-up was also very well balanced. I’m really looking forward to having a good pamper session this weekend minus the chocolate and popcorn which of course got eaten as soon as I photographed everything but all in all I thoroughly enjoyed unboxing all the goodies this month and if you can’t wait until August to see what Pink Parcel have in store then here’s a little sneak peek https://www.pinkparcel.co.uk/3-reasons-why-you-cant-miss-augusts-pink-parcel/

If you haven’t got on the Pink Parcel train yet then it’s definitely a subscription I highly recommend and the thrill of the surprise will not fail to make you look forward to that time of the month!
