I’m a little late to the party this month but today’s post features an unboxing and review of the July Look Incredible Deluxe Beauty Box and although these aren’t themed curations I’d say this month’s edit certainly feels very apt for the summer months. Featuring big name brands such as Dior and Too Faced alongside Bellapierre and UTan, it’s not dominated by make-up unlike previous months but nonetheless the skincare products do look rather interesting plus every single item is full sized and totals up to £99.49 and does fall a little short with only four products on board this month.
Here’s a quick overview of what was inside their Deluxe Edition:
Can we take a moment to appreciate how delightfully beautiful the Too Faced Love Flush Blush Funfetti (RRP £30.00) is! Housed in a Polly Pocket style case which is super cute, the true beauty of this blush is revealed as soon as you lift the lid! This multi-toned blush has a pretty design of flowers and bunnies and I’m not going to lie but I can’t even bring myself to swatch this yet as I don’t want to spoil the design (sad I know!).
Up next on the make-up front we have the Dior Diorific Mat Lipstick (Full Size £29.50) in the shade Magique which is a lovely bright hue that’s so perfect for the summer. This lipstick has a nice weight to it and the overall feel is super luxurious. Formula-wise it offers both pigmented colour and hydration.
On the skincare front is the UTan & Tone Coconut Tanning Water (Full size 100ml £17.99), a new revolutionary coconut tanning water that promises to be the fastest and easiest way to tan your face! I’ve seen this Scottish and cruelty-free brand pop up a lot on my social media feeds so I’m quite excited to finally own something from them plus this product in particular is infused with real coconut extracts! This light weight refreshing mist develops into a sun-kissed glow in 4-6 hours and can be used until the desired colour is achieved and can even be used as a primer under make-up, as a setting spray over make-up or on clean dry skin before bed! Really excited to try this as it seems pretty fool-proof!
Lastly is the bareMinerals Blemish Remedy Prep Gel (Full size 30ml £22.00) which is formulated with Aspen Bark, Tea Tree Oil and a Peptide Complex to help promote clearer, healthier-looking skin. The weightless formula also features an oil-absorbing mineral to help keep skin looking fresh, matte and flawless.
My Verdict
While this was another loveable edition from Look Incredible and featured a line up that I can certainly see myself getting lots of use out of, I can’t help but feel that it does fall a little bit short this time round due to the fact it only contains four products plus there’s been alot of Too Faced products in recent months which doesn’t personally bother me but I’d like to see more diversity. Other than that I’d say the majority really sparked my interest even the skin care which is quite novel and my favourites so far are of course the make-up from Too Faced and Dior however I’m also looking forward to trying out the skincare too! For £35.00 and boasting a value of just under £100 you really can’t go wrong and I can’t wait to see what they have in store for August.
