Ladies and gents, it’s time to get excited, because another Beauty Expert Limited Edition has landed! As always these beautiful collections are absolutely fantastic value, so whether you want to #treatyoself to some new beauty products, or are in need of an easy gift idea I’d highly recommend checking them out – Mothers Day is soon approaching! Their newest curation is titled * “The Spa Edition” and is packed full of super luxurious skin and body care from a wealth of quality brands all of which are presented inside a good sized travel pouch plus the Omorovicza Mask alone is worth £65.00 so it’s definitely worth picking up!

Without further ado here’s what made the cut inside their Spa Edition:

When it comes to skincare, nothing excites me more than a good face mask! Needless to say, the item that caught my attention straight away was the Omorovicza Ultramoor Mud Mask ( Full size 50ml RRP £65.00), a deep cleansing treatment that promises to clear congested pores and draw out impurities with a luxurious scent and thick texture to create that ultimate spa treatment at home. This flash-lifting anti-ageing mud mask provides gentle exfoliation and deep pore cleansing to leave the facial contour more sharply defined and the complexion brighter and is made with kaolin and Hungarian mud. However, in addition to the mineral-rich base, the Ultramoor Mud Mask is packed with yeast ferment extract, marine exopolysaccharides, and essential oils of sage, geranium, chamomile, rosemary, rose, and camphor.  If you’re a regular reader you’ll know that I don’t usually jump for joy when I see a skin care product inside my beauty boxes but oh my this is such a beautiful brand and the best bit of course is it actually targets some of my skin concerns so I can’t wait to slather this on!

Sticking to skin care we have the ESPA Optimal Skin ProSerum ( Full size 30ml RRP £51.00) that’s described as an intensely nourishing serum to strengthen skin’s natural moisture barrier and help even skin tone, while enhancing elasticity to help minimise the early signs of ageing. Echium Oil and Sunflower Concentrate replenish ceramides and omega oils, White Lupin helps smooth and firm while Turmeric brightens for beautifully radiant skin.

I’ve not really tried much from Elemis so the Pro-Collagen Marine Oil (Full Size 15ml RRP £65.00) is another welcome discovery plus that bottle is so pretty! This oil is fairly new to the range and has been formulated with a trio of seaweeds – Padina Pavonica, Golden Seaweed and Roaring Water Kelp – to deliver maximum hydration, whilst reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. White Poppy seed oil plumps the skin with moisture and leaves the complexion looking revitalised and radiant.

Another skin care favourite – am I feeling okay? I’m not going to lie but I’ve never really been wowed with Nuxe apart from their lip balm which is amazing by the way but their Micellar Cleansing Oil (Full 150ml RRP £15.50 ) has definitely sparked my interest! Suitable for sensitive skin types, the Rose Petal-infused micellar cleanser effectively lifts away makeup (including stubborn waterproof formulas), sunscreen and impurities to leave the complexion feeling supple, fresh and comfortable with no greasy residue. Rose and Geranium fragrance specifically developed for sensitive skin.

Moving onto body care is the Caudalie Huile Divine Oil (50ml RRP £18.00) and it’s one of my most favourite oils to use in the summer. This multi-use, luxurious dry oil moisturises, nourishes and enhances thanks to its unique formula made with exceptional blend of oils (grape, hibiscus, sesame and argan) combined with our patented anti-oxidant Polyphenols. It envelops the skin with a subtle, floral and sun-kissed fragrance, with woody notes meaning you can skip the perfume as the scent lingers for quite a while.

I’ve tried quite a few of the Neom candles however I’ve never ventured into their body collection so the Nourish, Breathe & Calm Hand Balm (Full Size 50ml RRP £15.00) was another welcome addition. This luxurious hand cream comprises a natural fragrance that combines pure essential oils. Enriched with a blend of French Lavender, Jasmine and Brazilian Rosewood, the skin-loving formula envelops skin in a calming aroma that banishes feelings of stress. The balm is complete with a hydrating combination of Shea and Cocoa butter, which quench skin’s thirst and leave hands smooth.

My Verdict

If you’re in need of a little beauty pick me up or the weather is playing havoc with your skin, Beauty Expert is one step ahead of the game and has curated another amazing limited edition collection full of glamorous goodies to restore and pamper you on any day of the week. From luxurious and nourishing body and skincare treatments there’s a host of amazing products packed inside this edition that make the whole ‘spa night in’ worthwhile! On the downside the line-up did lack variety on the beauty front and I think the addition of maybe a candle or a bath soak would have balanced it out a lot more but other than that I really can’t knock this, it features all full sizes totalling up to an incredible £220, an excellent selection of brands and I think it’s one of their best editions yet.
