I’m back today with an unboxing and review of one of my favourite subscriptions. Say hello to the empowering June Pink Parcel which celebrates PROCESSIONS, a campaign celebrating 100 years since females won the right to vote. With this in mind not only is the this special limited box dressed in the Processions colours and branding but every single item within the For You box has been created by girl bosses, co-founders or are PROCESSIONS limited editions. Line-up wise it’s another good all-rounder and of course includes all those period essentials to get us through that time of the month  – you can wave goodbye to those last minute runs to the supermarket thanks to Pink Parcel’s genius concept.

If you’re new to Pink Parcel it’s a subscription service for your monthly cycle who send you what you need, right when you need it as well as some lovely treats to brighten up those days of the month. With three dispatch dates to choose from, Pink Parcel literally take care of everything and will ship your box before your period is due. If you’re worried about flows and absorbencies, they have that covered too as you can choose your preferred brand as well as the type of sanitary items to suit your flow making it completely bespoke to your needs.

Without further ado here’s what you can expect to see inside this month’s Pink Parcel:

Up first and on the makeup front we have the GRLPWR Liquid Lipstick in Piedaho from The Beauty Crop (Full size), a brand I’m quite familiar with but it’s the first time I’ve tried their liquid lipstick. The formula feels really comfortable on despite the fact that it’s matte and full coverage and ticks all the boxes in terms of what I look for however on the flip side the shade Piedaho which is a deep, rich, burgundy looked too dark for my skin tone – maybe I’ll be able to pull this off in the winter months.

You can’t go wrong with lip balm it’s a daily staple for me but having said that I’m not too sure when I’ll be able to get round to this one as I have lots to get through! Nonetheless, The Organic Pharmacy Antioxidant Lip Balm (Full size) is a rich nourishing balm infused with Shea Butter, Pomegranate, Rose Hip and Vitamin E to protect and restore lips. You can use on its own or on top of lipstick to keep lips super soft.

One of the tell-tale signs that warns me that dreaded visitor is on its way is spots and they are usually dotted around my chin area so absolutely anything targeted for this is a very welcome addition! Unfortunately, I was hoping for the charcoal one but received the Vitamasques Marine Gold Sheet Mask insteadThis bestselling anti-ageing masks is designed to work in harmony to hit the reset button on your skin. Its one mask having infinite possibilities. Our Marine Gold mask is a complete lifting and firming treatment created for a youthful you. The marine collagen comes exclusively from the sea, is a superior source of protein that is easily absorbed and works to reverse ageing from the inside out.

Up next we have a set of hair ties from BANDZEE’s Suffragettes edition and if you’re forever losing hair ties like me you’ll really appreciate these plus they are super cute and are so apt for this particular edition!

Lastly on the beauty front is the Marvis Cinnamon Mint Toothpaste (travel size), a product I’ve seen quite frequently on social media! Boasting a unique flavour, Marvis Cinnamon Mint Toothpaste combines cool mint with sweet cinnamon for an irresistible, fresh taste and a tingling sensation. It also helps prevent tooth decay and targets plaque and tartar, whilst keeping your breath fresh.

Tea and Sweet Treats – 2 items

As well as the beauty line up you can also expect to see a sample of tea and foodie treats – the perfect mix to kerb those cravings and as always they sure do hit the spot but always disappear so quickly!

Inside this month’s curation you can expect to see a bar of Montezuma’s MINTED Milk Chocolate with Crunchy Peppermint Mini Bar and a sachet of the Teapigs Snooze Sleepy Tea.

My Verdict

While I loved the idea behind this month’s special edition, there were a few nit-picky disappointments with this edition (namely getting a too-dark lippy colour and a mask that I wasn’t too fond of) but nonetheless I was still pretty happy with the contents overall which once again covered a good area on the beauty front. It goes without saying we all need that extra bit of TLC during that time of the month and I particularly enjoyed this month’s foodie offering in the form of the Montezuma chocolate but it’s such a shame the foodies items are a little on the small size but that’s just me being greedy! Priced at £10.50 a month, Pink Parcel is without a doubt incredible value and I personally love the convenience of getting all my monthly essentials sent straight to my door which in turn really takes the hassle out not to mention it does a great job lifting up the mood with all the extra treats inside!
