Hello all, I hope you’re all well and looking forward to the summer months. As you’re aware I took a little break from the reviews due to my recent cancer diagnosis and whilst there has been progress in terms of tumour shrinkage it’s not quite there yet so I’ve been given another six weeks before I have another set of scans. With this in mind, I’ve decided that it’s time to slowly get back into the swing of things by doing some bite sized reviews with the first being the June Glossybox which is themed Summer Soiree. In all honesty, this month’s edit isn’t one of my favourites and my reasons are outlined at the end of this post but nonetheless I’m very intrigued by the £85.00 Avant Primer and very grateful that Glossybox included such a high value product.

I think you’ll agree the star of the show on paper definitely goes to the Avant Primer and although I’ve not had the opportunity to try it yet, I’m hoping it’s not a magic potion that makes my skin look absolutely amazing as I don’t think I could justify buying the full size! As mentioned at the beginning of my post, I wasn’t blown away or particularly fussed with the remainder if I’m completely honest and it was disappointing to see yet another contour palette so soon not to mention the Hask Mask which has already been featured. On the plus side the shade of the Model Co Lip Crème looks promising. If you’re not aware Look Fantastic and Glossybox are both part of the Hut Group and sometimes there’s a little bit of a crossover now and again when it comes to products hence if you’re subscriber of both you may come across repeats.
