My first unboxing post of 2020 features the Sleep and Revive themed Glossybox and I think there’s some great essentials to kick start the year with, most of which I can see myself using and there’s even a few new brand discoveries for me! I’d say January is probably my least favourite time for beauty boxes as there’s usually more emphasis on skin care but I’m kinda liking this month’s edition and although it does mainly feature skin care they’ve also included some other useful bits in addition to a surprise Nakd Bar! Other than the Kueshi oil based cleanser which was featured in May 2018 (it’s great for removing stubborn mascara so I’m not too sad it’s made a return), the remainder was all new finds for me. The pink tweezers from Basic Beauty was very welcomed as I’m forever misplacing mine however on the flip side they don’t look the greatest quality. While we’re on the subject of brows I’m also looking forward to trying the brow gel as I’ve not tried the ModelCo formula as my go-to is the one from Pixi Beauty. CBD is such a hot topic and boasts so many benefits so I’m really keen to try this plant-based mask by Beauty Pro which is infused with CBD, Lavender and Rosehip. I’ve not tried the Strawberry Booster as of yet but I think it’s a great choice for this time of the year. So there you have it, the first Glossybox of the year and I think you’ll agree it contains a fab range of treats to uplift and refresh your January beauty routine plus every single item is full sized!
