The Glamour Edits are undeniably one of my favourite collaboration boxes from Latest in Beauty there’s so much to love about them and their latest installment The Glamour Summer Edit is no exception and one not to be missed as it just so happens to be their best edit yet. With summer nearly upon us the box boasts an incredible line up of well-known brands and features 9 beauty must haves to maintain a fresh face, glowing skin and bouncy shiny hair alongside some bright colour popping make up and nail varnish, all housed within a vibrant and fun designed box that alone has really got me yearning for the hot sunny days ahead.

1.   Vita Liberata Trystal Minerals and Luxury Kabuki Brush – Deluxe Sample 3g

What better way to fight off dull skin than with globally renowned self-tanning brand Vita Liberata. This revolutionary mineral bronzer offers instant bronze coverage while developing a natural-looking tan lasting up to five days. I was so excited to see this inside the box as it only launched this year and has been a huge hit with celebrities and retailing for £35.00 I think it’s a really generous sample with a good quality kabuki brush thrown in too!

2.   L’Occitane Aromachology Repairing Shampoo and Conditioner – Sample Size 35ml each.

This duo set from L’Occitane’s Aromachology collection consists of both the shampoo and conditioner from their repairing range.

Formulated with a natural complex of 5 essential oils this duo helps to repair dry, damaged or colour treated hair. As with all L’Occitane products they smell absolutely gorgeous.

3.   Pixi Glow Tonic – Sample Size 15ml.

If you’re a regular reader within the blogging community then you’ve most probably already heard about the Pixi Glow Tonic. It’s a much hyped up and loved product that I’ve been wanting to try for ages.

The Glow tonic is infused with aloe vera and ginseng suitable for dry, dull and aging skin. It helps to tone, firm and tighten the skin whilst also removing dead skin cells for healthier looking skin.

This translucent orange tonic smells very fresh and feels lovely on the skin. It’s gentle formula leaves the skin feeling refreshed and extremely comfortable, with no tightness or dryness. Ginseng is prized as an rejuvenating and detoxifying ingredient making it really beneficial for the skin. I can’t wait to see what this does for my skin.

4.  Balance Me Super Toning Body Polish  – Deluxe Size 50ml.

I can get a little lazy on the body polishing front, but with the warm sunny days finally here it’s a great time to start using a body polish. The Balance Me Super Toning Body Polish boasts some great key benefits that includes improved skin tone, smoothness, and elastin-boosting properties. The product uses ground walnut shells and blackberry leaf extract to work powerfully to slough away dead skin cells and to encourage cell renewal. The signature blend by Balance Me also includes naturally active essential oils including, juniper, geranium, lavender and bergamot which help to purify the skin giving it a wonderful relaxing scent.

What I love about this is how relaxing it smells making it great to use for a pampering session, as well as an everyday scrub if you need it. Overall, this is a great product for really getting your skin looking and feeling fantastic ready for summer.

5.  Nails inc Gel Effect Nail Polish – Full Size. RRP £15.00

I’m always happy to see Nail Inc especially their Gel effect formula which delivers a high shine finish. There’s a few shade variants and I received Uptown which is a beautiful nude with brown and pink tones, it’s definitely my type of shade and a wearable colour for summer and pretty much all year round.

6.  Caudalie Divine Oil – Deluxe Sample 15ml.

I’ve received this oil from Caudalie in various boxes in the past and it’s something that I use up rapidly, it’s the most luxurious way to moisturise and hydrate the skin making it a perfect addition inside the box.

I love using a body oil no matter what time of year it is, but there’s something about this thirst-quenching glow that the Caudalie Divine Oil gives to  my skin. Whether you are looking for deep down hydration, a refreshing summer scent or a little of both this is great.

7.   Bourjois Color Boost Lip Crayon – Full Size. RRP £7.99

Summer means time for colour and the Bourjois Color Boost Lip Crayon in the shade Fushia Libre is a juicy pink shade which really packs a punch with it’s pigmented formula. I love that the colour is  buildable so you can go for sheer pink during to the day to something much more brighter for the evenings.

There’s three shade variants which equally look very wearable. I’m really tempted to try some of the lighter or more neutral colours from the collection as there very similar to chubby sticks but at a fraction of the price.

8.   Eucerin Sun Protection SPF 30 Face Creme – Full Size 50ml. RRP £15.00

I burn very quickly (I guess that’s the norm when you’re nearly as white as Edward Cullen) so with holiday season in full swing soon this necessity will definitely come in handy.

Specially developed for sensitive skin, this sun cream offers comprehensive protection from damage caused by the sun. With EU approved UVA/UVB filters, natural deep cell protection from licorice extract and glycyrrhetinic acid to support skin renewal, this sunscreen is an all-rounder which also benefits from being d

9.   Seekers of the Sun Temporary Tattoos – 1 sheet. RRP £10.00

If you’re a regular reader you’ll already know my view on these but for the first time ever I’m really liking these one’s from Seekers of the Sun, their so dainty and pretty, definitely something I would consider applying. They have been exclusively designed for the Glamour edition which makes them that little more special.

My Verdict

This box is a delightful bundle of summer joy and will most definitely kick start your summer to ensure you have all the essentials you need whether at home or away. In terms of the line up it ticks all the boxes for me with everything being very usable and practical that literally covers all areas showcasing a great array of brands with a mix of good sized samples and full sized products. The box is presented beautifully, a lot of cuteness and attention to detail which I love, it definitely brings the excitement of warmers days and sunnier times. There’s some products I’ve been really curious about and wanted to try so it was great to see these inside the box too. I love the tattoos too which is a first for me! I don’t think there’s anything that I won’t make use out of which is quite novel.

For me summer definitely calls for a change and trying new things when it comes to beauty and The Glamour Summer Edit delivers some key essentials for everyone to enjoy.

Individually, the products would cost over £90.00, but you can get your hands on the whole lot for just £17.99 making it super-affordable and exceptional value for money and it also happens to be their best edition yet.

If you need to get yourself sorted for holidays, or any of the multitude of festivals coming up, the Glamour Summer Edit is a great place to start and it’s available now.
