The June My Little Box has landed and although the full extent of summer is yet to join us, this month’s French Riviera theme in collaboration with designer Sarah Lavoine has got me drifting off into a summer time day dream – bikinis, soaking up the sun, ocean waves, a mild breeze and just having fun! The design, the colours to the contents inside just oozes summer and definitely tops last month’s edition. As always, this box never fails to impress me with this months edition being no exception it beautifully captures the essence of summer with everything being so spot on.

My Little Box is a hand-picked and beautifully designed box of beauty, fashion and lifestyle surprises. With fashion accessories, beauty products and other goodies created exclusively for you and based around a different theme every month, each box promises to delight their subscribers. They also produce their in house beauty products known as My Little Beauty.

The June edition features an impressive line up with summer in mind and includes a mixture of beauty products alongside two lifestyle items. Enclosed is the My Little World Magazine which is no longer a magazine as such but folds out inside, it’s not the most friendliest approach when it comes to reading!

1.  Loved by Sarah Lavoine Nail Polish in 501 – Full Size RRP £6.50

How amazing is this nail varnish for summer? The teal shade looks absolutely stunning in bottle but it’s true beauty comes to light when you apply just one coat. It’s such a unique colour within my collection and I can see myself reaching out for this all year round. It’s definitely one of the highlights for me inside this edition.

2.  Kerastase Thermique Blow-Dry Care for Unruly Hair  – Travel Size 50ml

Kerastase Discipline is a fairly new line that promises to leave your hair straight whilst making it that little more easier to deal with.  It promises gets to rid of majority of the frizz and also helps you blow-dry your hair about 33% faster!

Whilst I love discovering products from the Keratase range I can’t help but feel that the brand has been featured quite a few times already in previous editions but nevertheless I’m looking forward to putting this to the test.

3.  My Little Beauty Sea Salt Fresh Scrub – Full Size 75ml RRP £8.50

I think it’s pretty amazing that My Little Box also have their own beauty range which is called My Little Beauty.

This month see’s a full sized Sea Salt Scrub and the fragrance alone transports you straight to the beach! Made with sea salt and ajonc water this claims to be refreshing and judging by the scent I think it definitely will be! It’s a great addition that arrives aptly for getting your skin looking and feeling fantastic ready for summer.

4. Lifestyle Items

This month’s box included two lifestyle items which really complemented the theme, although I really wouldn’t expect anything less from My Little Box.

First up is the Sarah Lavoine Sunglasses (RRP £18.00) in a dark purple shade with a matte finish. I do love a pair of the sunglasses and these look very different to the one’s I currently own. I’m still umming and ahing  if these suit me but they’re a great addition to this month’s line up.

Last but certainly not least is the Planters Duo (RRP £6.50), two beautiful and practical storage solutions so whether you use these as planters or storage they’ll brighten up any area. Being really light weight I think these would come in really useful when you’re staying in a hotel just to keep everything neat and tidy in one place!

 My Verdict

Month on month, inside and out, My Little Box truly wows me. The extra little touches, the intricate details alongside the line up fits in aptly with the theme and brings the essence of all things summer straight to your doorstep. I loved the combination of the turquoise and sea green colours that were used this month, it definitely gives off that summer vibe with great contents to match.

This box offers something very different compared to the other boxes and if their previous boxes are anything to go by you will certainly not be disappointed. It’s definitely a showstopper and one which is beautifully composed with their very own in-house illustrator, Kanako. Every month the box truly captures me and the contents and loveliness inside is even more pleasing, it’s something which My Little Box do extremely well.

If you like chic and adorable lifestyle items along with good beauty brands, you will simply fall in love with this box and I can’t recommend it enough! It really does deliver something very magical which is guaranteed to make you smile.

My favorite items are the planters Duo and the salt scrub. i love that they have their own line of beauty products. The planters duo is even so practical and you are right, they can be used in many ways.
