1.    Skin & Tonic Steam Clean (15g) and Organic Cotton Cloth (Full Size)

It was only last month that I discovered the Skin & Tonic Steam Clean, a true gem which really puts the pleasure back into my cleansing regime.

Skin and Tonic are committed to creating beautiful, sustainable beauty products that are good for both our skin and the planet. This cleansing balm is organic and made from a blend of nourishing and invigorating oils that leaves the skin feeling so refreshed, clean and full of life. It does a great job removing all of my make up and due to the oils I can even get away with not applying a moisturiser. The eucalyptus and spearmint essential oils really awaken the senses which is something I really love about this balm.

This balm really makes taking make-up off a pleasure, it’s so easy, lovely to use and such a treat when your skin needs a pick me up.

2.    John Masters Birch & Cedarwood Cleansing & Shaving Bar –  Full Size

I’ve really been liking what I’ve tried so far from the John Masters collection and welcomed another new discovery within this month’s box.

This multi-purpose soap is an all-over body cleanser and shaving bar that lathers into a soothing foam for a close and comfortable shave, for both men and women. It contains Organic palm and coconut oils and is enriched with the antiseptic properties of essential birch and cedarwood oils alongside a high glycerin content, leaving your skin clean and soft – with no irritation from shaving and is suitable for all skin types.

I love multi-purpose products and I’m really drawn to the fact that this can also be used for shaving too, although I’m quite curious to see how this measures up against my beloved shaving foam, it certainly smells much nicer.

3.    Green People Fruit Scrub Exfoliator – Travel Size 30ml

I’ve not tried much from Green People so it was great to see their delicious scented fruit scrub within this month’s edition.

This effective natural exfoliating facial cream deeply cleanses to reveals to radiant skin and claims to be suitable for all skin types.

The product itself is true to it’s name and very fruity indeed with an uplifting citrus scent. The texture is quite creamy  with small round natural kernels suspended inside, great for tackling areas of dryness gently which not only leaves the skin soft to the touch but thoroughly cleansed too.

4.    Balance Me Pure Skin Face Wash  – Travel Size 50ml

Balance Me promise natural but affordable skincare and don’t use any harmful ingredients in their products, and where possible are 100% naturally sourced.

The Balance Me Pure Skin Face Wash is recommended for all skin types and I can really see why, it’s creamy and gentle enough for drier skins whilst at the same time the ingredients help to thoroughly cleanse the skin without stripping making it ideal for those with oil prone skin too.

The formula benefits from the most purest of ingredients to leave your skin happy, non irritated and contains a wonderful blend of skin calming essential oils that helps to balance troublesome skin, and I can definitely vouch for that as after using this my skin is left feeling clean and just looks so much fresher with a natural glow. It also removes make-up effortlessly and foams really well  using the tiniest amount. It’s very soothing but at the same time it’s got a sharp citrus awakening smell of frankincense making it perfect for the mornings.

5.    Madara AHA Peeling Mask  (Sample Size 12.5ml) and Madara Micellar Water Sachet (Sample Sachet 2ml)

This active AHA peeling mask by Madara gives instant radiance with nature’s superdose of active acids.  Fruit acids and vitamin C from Quince fruit, blended with hydrating lactic acid and soothing Elderflower provides efficient exfoliation for bright, radiant and smoothed skin. As harsh as it sounds mainly due to the acid part, the mask is on the gentle side of the spectrum as it contains natural fruit acids which are very beneficial for the skin.  I don’t think any of my products benefit from AHA’s so I’m looking forward to trying this.

As well as the mask there’s also a sachet sample of Madara’s Micellar Water, something that I’ve been wanting to try so was happy to see this although I wish the sample was a little bigger!

If you love organic, natural and cruelty-free products or want to detoxify your beauty regime with a more skin friendly alternative this is definitely a box you don’t want to miss out on and at only £9.95 it’s affordable, great value and gives you the perfect opportunity to try out some both well-known and emerging beauty brands. For those of you who don’t want to commit to a subscription, the Naturisimo beauty box can be purchased as an one off with the added advantage of being able to see the contents too.
