If you love your scents as much as I do then you’ll love Latest in Beauty’s latest instalment of fragrance boxes in collaboration with The Perfume Society, all of which have curated to perfection and with three different themed editions there’s something for every nose! Ranging from high-end fragrances to unique perfumers, you’ll discover a selection of fabulous scents to help you find your signature fragrance and the *Florals and Florientals edition is brimmed to the top with a beautiful mix of feminine, sensual and sweet perfume samples. I’ve literally been in perfume heaven the last few days  so if you’re a fan of floral scents this box definitely hits all the right notes!

Whilst there’s no full-sized products there’s a good mix of vials and generous sized bottles introducing to you to a variety of brands and scents and the best part is that they’re all new discoveries for me. Inside the box you can also expect to find information cards for each and every scent with a detailed overview.

1. L’Occintane Neroli & Orchidee – Sample Vial 1.2ml

The first thing I noticed about the Néroli & Orchidée scent is how amazing and decadent it smells. It’s a soft musky scent with some sweeter and floral tones making it a very versatile for everyday!

If you really love big, floral scents, I think this one is a good pick for something a little more youthful, with a very sunny, floral twist.

2. Orla Kiely Eau De Parfum – Sample Vial 1.2ml

With an impressive list of ingredients, this perfume has light floral notes, with natural extracts of rose, geranium and bergamot, subtly balanced with fresh fig and a hint of chocolate. It’s light yet sexy and sultry. I think this is a beautiful day perfume and whilst it’s more of a summer scent it has a slight spicy sharp/crispness about it which could easily be worn during the winter months.

3. Carven Le Parfum Sample Vial 1.2ml

If you like florals as much as I do, this scent blossoms with an abundance of flowers, which pleases me enormously. It’s airy and fresh but at the same time elegant and modern. Overall, it’s the kind of fragrance that is suitable for every day, but also for the evening or special occasions.

4. The Body Shop White Musk Smoky Rose – Deluxe Size 30ml

White Musk from The Body Shop is a collection that I’ve been a big fan of since I’ve was a teenager, I’d actually go as far to say it was probably the first perfume I ever bought! It’s still as fresh and light as White Musk, but with a sweet floral rose undertone that makes it a perfect scent for the Autumn/Winter.

5. Balmain Extatic – Sample Vial 2ml

This scent is bold and unusual although I don’t think it will be to everyone’s taste. I really can’t decide whether I like it or not, it’s strong at first and after a hour or so the floral and fruity notes come through.

6. Penhaligon’s Vaara – Sample Vial 1.5ml

The packaging of this sample is absolutely gorgeous although I wouldn’t expect anything less from Penhaligon’s.

This is an ideal scent for autumn and winter, as it is warm, soft, and also contains elements of summer. I wasn’t too keen on the scent at first but once settled its true beauty really shines through.

7. Fragonard Soleil – Sample Vial 7ml

This starts out with a lovely wisp of all things exotic and rich! It leans slightly over to the masculine side when it’s wet, but that quickly changes to more of a warm vanilla scent and the best bit the scent sticks around for quite some time too!

9. Caudalie Parfum Divin – Sample Vial 1.5ml

For those who are familiar to the Divin range from Caudalie will recognise this scent immediately! This has serious power flower and the longevity is truly impressive.

This scent has a lot of body and character just like the oil and reminds me of warm summer days.

9. L’Occintane Shea Butter Hand Cream

If you read my posts regularly you will already know that I’m a fan of hand creams so I very much welcome this mini sized version that’s perfect for popping into the handbag or even the smallest clutch bag.

The cream is light in texture and enriched with shea butter and vitamin E to help soften both the hands and cuticles. It absorbs into the skin almost instantly without feeling sticky or greasy.

My Verdict

I literally jumped for joy when I heard about Latest in Beauty’s new collection of boxes in collaboration with The Perfume Society, I’m a perfume fanatic and being typically drawn to floral scents this edition really hits all the right notes. With flowers in mind this blossoming edition has truly been curated to perfection with a super luxe assortment of high-end fragrances to unique and artisanal perfumers giving you the perfect opportunity to discover some new and exciting perfumes.

Admittedly I’m not one of those people who stay loyal to just one perfume and prefer to mix it up so this box is great for that, I don’t think I’ve ever finished a bottle of perfume mainly because I chop and change my scents based on my outfit, occasion or how I’m feeling! Overall I’m really impressed and whilst some of the samples are small there’s enough of each one to use for at least 3 days or more giving you plenty of time to decide which one(s) you like best. What I love the most about this box is that there’s a selection of scents which you would definitely be able to pull off during the winter months too.

I’m already lusting after the full sized of quite a few of the ones I’ve tried and whilst summer has come and gone in a flash these scents really inject a little sunshine into your day.
