The Glamour Edits are undeniably one of my favourite collaboration boxes from Latest in Beauty there’s so much to love about them and their latest installment *The Glamour Beauty Power List features a selection of shortlisted products which have claimed their spot in the pantheon of beauty greats, chosen by Alessandra Steinhurr, Beauty Director at Glamour Magazine. The all-star line up covers skincare, nails, tanning, make up and hair so it’s a pretty good all-rounder worth an incredible £92.87 with the majority being full-sized. If you love discovering the latest and greatest or need to refresh your beauty regime for autumn this edition is definitely great for that.

1. Eyeko Mascara in Blue or Black – Full Size 4ml

With trends moving more towards eye makeup as the focal point of the face rather than a statement lipstick, mascara has definitely stepped up its game, too with quite a few make up brands expanding their existing collections with lots of other shade variations.

Whilst I prefer the classic black option I’m always willing to experiment with something new and the Eyeko Mascara in Midnight Blue is a captivating bold blue which really makes a statement and will not fail to get you noticed!

The depth of the blue is probably one of the best I’ve tried and really shows up on my dark lashes and best of all it amplifies your lashes in a really fun way whilst also making the eyes look brighter.

2. Rimmel 60 Seconds Supershine Nail Polish – Full Size 8ml .

You really can’t go wrong with Rimmel nail polishes, they apply well, last on the nails and of course are very purse friendly! With three variations available I received “Lose your Lingerie”, an off-white pink with a creamy finish.

I love the shade but it’s definitely more suited for spring and summer time, although I might be able to pull off a french manicure with this.

3. Philip Kingsley Geranium and Neroli Elasticizer – Travel Size 40ml.

Philip Kingsley’s hero product, the Elasticizer has been recreated in a limited edition Geranium & Neroli version inspired by his annual trips to Portofino. It’s infused with neroli, geranium, lavender, rose and orange oils and smell absolutely gorgeous.

The Philip Kingsley Elasticizer is an intensive, super-moisturising pre-shampoo treatment for all hair types” that promises to add “elasticity, manageability, bounce and shine” and for me it’s a great quick-fix when I need my hair to behave! I can’t wait to give this one try.

4. Kiko Velvet Touch Creamy Stick Blush – Full Size

Whilst I’m a fan of cream blushes, I’ve only owned one in a stick form before which I rarely use but this one by Kiko caught my attention straightaway as I’ve never tried any of their products!

I received the shade “04 – Hot Pink” not something I would of picked out myself but contrary to what I expected this is a nice pigmented pink which can be toned down quite easily with a brush if you just want a natural rosy flush of colour. I’ll definitely be looking into some of their other shades in particular the “Natural Rose”.

5. Revlon Ulta HD Lipstick – Full Size

With three different variations available I’m so happy that I received “Gladiolus”, a bright red with subtle orange undertones that looks absolutely flattering on my skin tone.

The texture of Revlon Ultra HD is very smooth, creamy with an incredible lightweight and luxurious feel to it with a great colour pay-off.

6. Garnier Miracle Sleeping Cream – Full Size 50ml

This innovative, self-smoothing texture cream by Garnier envelops the skin and visibly helps reduce the appearance of signs of fatigue during the night, promising visible results from the 1st morning. Whilst this is branded as an anti-ageing product it also focuses on tired skin and claims to leave the skin looking fresh and radiant while helping to regenerate the skin too.

7. Nails Inc Nailkale Superfood Base Coat – Full Size 14ml

The superfood kale has made its way into Nails Inc’s very own base coat promising healthy and shiny fingertips. I’ve had my eye on the Nailkale Superfood base coat for quite a while now so I was  delighted to see this inside the box.  The formula boasts a range of  fortifying ingredients such as aloe vera, lemon, ginseng, pomegranate and grape to really nourish, smooth and brighten the nails as well as vitamins A, C, E, F and H for added nourishment and protection against breakage and splitting.

This is definitely a key essential for the coming season and I can’t wait to give this a go, hopefully they’ll be less breakages!

8. Vita Liberata Self Tanning Night Moisture Mask – Sample Size 10ml.

Cheat your way to glowing skin with Vita Liberata’s Self Tanning Night Moisture Mask, infused with a touch of tan to help you build a natural glow as you sleep without staining your pillow case. The antiaging HyH20™ Technology leaves the skin hydrated, healthier looking and the Vitamin-rich sunflower seed helps to calm the skin and joins forces with tocopherol to protect from free radical damage.

As we ween ourselves off the heavier alternatives and switch to gradual tanners for a more natural look I think this is great addition inside the box.

My Verdict

If you’re looking for a beauty haul that covers all areas of beauty then this box definitely has you covered at a complete steal. The line up is impressive and showcases a selection of skincare, tanning, make up, nails and hair products making it a complete kit which not only has the latest and greatest innovations from brands we all love and know but the value is absolutely amazing. Chosen by Alessandra Steinhurr, Beauty Director of Glamour Magazine there’s a great opportunity to try many different products, perfect for refreshing your beauty regime for the change in season. There’s quite a few  products I’ve been really curious about and wanted to try so it was great to see these inside the box and I love that the majority were all new discoveries for me too. With the majority of the products being being full sized it’s incredible value for money.

Without a doubt, 2015 has definitely been Latest in Beauty’s year, it’s amazing how many editions they have already released not to mention the new partnerships they have formed. I can’t wait to see what else they have lined up.
