I’m a little late to the party but the *September Look Fantastic Beauty Box is the perfect curation (and box design!) in celebration of their 1st Birthday, I can’t believe it’s been a year since they launched their very own box. To mark the occasion they’ve put together a celebratory line-up of worthy beauty samples, showcased within a beautiful limited edition box. I think you’ll agree there’s a lot to love about this month’s box and for me it definitely ticks all of the boxes with lots of new discoveries on board from both well-known and emerging brand.

The Look Fantastic box offers a selection of handpicked, must have beauty fixes wrapped in a beautifully presented box and delivered straight to your door. The beauty box will always include a minimum of six products and offers a selection of skincare, haircare, cosmetic and body products, catering to every kind of beauty lover.

This month’s box is filled with an incredible 8 travel-sized beauty treats which have been carefully selected and showcases products from Bliss, Caudalie, Phyto, Tanworx, Codage Paris and Professional Sebastian.

1. Bliss Fabulous Foaming Face Wash – Travel Size 30ml

The Bliss Fabulous Foaming Face Wash is a two-in-one oil-free exfoliating formula suitable for all skin types. This fresh, fruity cleanser contains rose hip extract, milk thistle, passion flower and chamomile in a non-stripping formula.

The liquid consists of micro-beads, that aren’t harsh unlike certain scrubs and with just a little amount, this face wash definitely leaves your skin feeling soft and fresh. Whilst it didn’t remove all my make up, the natural oils did leave my skin feeling soft. I really love how it makes my skin feel moisturised, rather than giving it that tight feeling and the scent really reminds me of bubblegum!

2. Professional Sebastian Shampoo and Conditioner – Travel Size 50ml each

The Penetraitt range is a rescue formula dedicated to strengthening and repairing over processed, chemically treated hair. Guarding from every day stresses and deeply penetrating to remove debris and product build up, the rich concoction with colour safe Active Rescue System will reconstruct the hair follicles and effectively cleanse for revitalised, strong and soft results

Due to daily use of heat styling tools my frazzled ends are in desperate need for some TLC. I’ve heard great things about the Sebastian Professional Penetraitt range so I’m delighted to finally get my hands on the shampoo and conditioner duo.

3. Codage Paris Scrubbing Cream – Travel Size 25ml

This is a rich and soothing emulsion made from fine rice particles which enables optimal facial exfoliation. Respectful of even the most sensitive skin types, this scrubbing cream eliminates impurities and dead skin cells, while stimulating elasticity and cellular renewal.

Codage Paris isn’t a brand I’ve come across before but I’m looking forward to giving this a go.

4. Phyto Phytokeratine Extreme Cream Conditioner – Travel size 30ml

I’ve loved what I’ve tried so far from the Phyto range so I was really excited to see their extreme Cream Conditioner, it’s a great addition as we approach the colder months in such a really generous size.

Developed for ultra-damaged, dry and brittle hair, the Phytokeratine Extreme Cream Conditioner from Phyto is a leave-in cream to nourish and repair hair. It also benefits from providingthermal protection up to 220ºC to prevent further breakage and split ends and shields from humidity so you can experience frizz-free, silky smooth locks.

I have naturally wavy/curly hair so I’m prone to frizz so it will be interesting to see if this lives up to it’s claims.

5. Caudalie Vinosource Moisturising Sorbet and SOS SerumSample Size 10ml each

Following my success with Caudalie’s Vinoperfect serum I was excited to try a couple of samples from their Vinosource range.

Suitable for those with sensitive and dehydrated skin, the Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet claims to have an immediate and long-lasting calming and soothing action. It reactivates the skin’s hydration mechanisms and restores its water reserves. As skin becomes stronger, it feels softer and more comfortable.

Simply vowing to moisturise your skin, it certainly does and feels rather comfortable on the skin without any greasiness.

My absolute favourite from this month’s line up is the SOS serum and for me it arrived at the perfect time as my skin is in need of a little TLC at the moment. Targeted for dehydrated skin, this serum is super light, doesn’t clog pores and magically brings your skin back to life.

6. Tanworx Tan Maintainer Travel size 60ml

Working to maintain your tan for longer the Tanworx Tan maintainer is formulated with carrot oil, coconut oil and sunflower oil to moisturise the skin, plus Hyaluronic Acid and Seaweed. Perfect for avoiding streaks and helps you to maintain your golden glow throughout the colder months.

My Verdict

This month’s box is quite possibly one of their best editions this year and they’ve definitely treated their subscribers to a wide array of discoveries, all of which are generous travel-sized samples. I love the design of their celebratory box and in terms of the contents it definitely ticks all of the boxes for me.  Whilst the box features a good area of beauty I would of loved to have seen a make up item or a beauty tool but nonetheless there’s a really generous amount of goodies with plenty of new discoveries from brands we all love and know to those which are less familiar. As well as the beauty treats Look Fantastic have also included various vouchers totaling a value of £40 to redeem across their sister sites.

The Look Fantastic Beauty Box without a doubt gives you ample opportunity to try more upmarket beauty brands without the hefty price tag and for only £15.00 it’s a great way to trial beauty products from brands we all love and know alongside some new discoveries too.
