1. Nougat London Sparkling Body Shimmer Cherry Blossom 100ml RRP £14.00 for 250ml
This is the first time I have come across this brand. The bottle states “Add radiance to your skincare regime with Sparkling Body Shimmer. This body lotion with mallow extract, vitamin E and wheatgerm enriched oil will leave your skin luxuriously perfumed with a hint of sparkle.” Smells lovely. I did apply some on my hand and the consistency is quite smooth and easy to apply. The shimmer was not too intense as I expected it left a nice glow on my skin. I will definitely apply this in the summer.
2. NV Watermelon Chunky Lip Crayon RRP £5.00
Again another product which is new to me. I loved the colour which I received and to my delight it suited my complexion perfectly. This lip crayon goes on silky smooth and stayed put all day. A great product and reasonably priced too. Being in a crayon consistency this will probably last longer than a normal lipstick.
3. Ciate Kiss Chase Nail Varnish RRP £9.00
I am a keen enthusiast of the Ciate brand. They are a unique and popular brand and I love the little bow attached to the bottle. I received the Kiss Chase colour which is a coral like colour. This nail varnish only requires a couple of coats and you have perfect pretty nails in minutes!
4. Maybelline Big Eyes Mascara RRP £8.99
Double the drama with a double brush mascara for upper and lower lids. I saw this recently advertised on TV and was tempted to buy this due to the dual brush concept. I was so glad that a different brush was available for the upper and lower lids. This applied well to the lashes and didn’t smudge or flake throughout the day.
5. Giovanni Eco Chic Cosmetics Chic Ultra-Moist Range Sample Size RRP £7.99
This sample included Shampoo, Conditioner and Deep moisture mask.
I am yet to use this product which is a popular brand in the US. This brand contains natural ingredients including Moroccan Argan Oils, avocado and papaya to treat and nourish the hair. I will be trying this on my locks over the weekend
My Verdict
I am loving February’s Glossy Box and very happy with the contents. Compared to other months they have definitely raised the bar this month. Lets hope they continue to deliver great products like this every month. The overall value of the contents inthe box were £30+ which is fantastic value for money.
