You Beauty Discovery is a monthly beauty subscription service where you get choose two products of your choice from both well-known and emerging brands and they also throw in 2-3 bonus samples. Each month you’ll find a shortlist that’s been centered around a theme.
1. Balmi Roseberry Blister Cube – RRP £4.99
I’ve been recovering from a rotten cold so my lips are in dire need of TLC at the moment so I thought I’d treat myself to to this nourishing lip balm packed with goodness from Balmi (I promise it wasn’t the gold packaging that tempted me!) but one thing for sure I was pretty intrigued by the Roseberry!
This stunning little cube of lip balm contains anti oxidant rich vitamin E, soothing Shea butter and Jojoba oil which leave your lips super moisturised, smooth and also benefits from SPF 15 and UVA protection.
As well being super fun and unique looking it really is a clever lip balm that not only fits nicely with the natural curve of your lips but it’s incredibly moisturising too with a delicate berry scent.
2. Bamford Geranium Body Wash – Travel Size 50ml.
Bamford are a brand that sit pretty in the heart of the Cotswolds, a place known for its beauty and their Geranium, Lavender and Peppermint Body Wash is the perfect pick me up.

My Verdict
I’ve had a rotten cold that I’ve been trying to shift for over a week now so I’m pretty chuffed with my selections and definitely made the right choices this month. The Balmi lip balm contained within a very pretty exterior has kept my lips super-soft whilst the Bamford Shower Gel really is a breath of fresh air with its beautiful awakening scent. I love the extra’s this month although the snail gel is a repeat from a previous month.
Coming in at only £6.95, not only is it affordable but it also gives subscribers a great opportunity to sample products from well-known, loved and emerging beauty brands. One of the aspects I love about this box is that I have full control of what’s inside as well as receiving some additional bonus samples too. If you’re new to the beauty box concept then this is definitely a great purse friendly box to start off with and If you do happen to fall in love with something there’s a few discount codes from the brands featured this month too.
