2016 has already been such an exciting year for beauty boxes and we’ve seen a couple of new launches as well as the usual favourites wowing us with their curations including Look Incredible who haven’t been in the game for long but I’ve been truly impressed with what they’ve delivered so far. Excitingly they’ve just upped their game with their newly launched *deluxe edition that’s available as a monthly subscription for £35.00 plus free postage and I’m delighted to report that their first ever edition really does shine when it comes to brands and value. It’s stuffed with some seriously lust-worthy products that showcases mainly make up as well as a full size fragrance. I know quite a few of you were interested in seeing what the box contained so this is a very brief post that simply unveils what’s inside.
First up and a firm favourite of mine from this month’s line up is a NARS lipstick in the shade Catfight (Full Size RRP £21.00), a semi matte, musk pink that looks absolutely incredible on my skin tone and it’s muted enough to not send you into Barbie territory!
If you are looking for the perfect sun kissed glow this spring/summer, then you’ll love the Tarte Princess Matte Bronzer & Glow (Full Size RRP £13.00). In the squeezy tube you’ll find a whipped mouse-like texture in the form of a bronzer and within the lid there’s a cheek tint. Both of the products contain Tarte’s Amazonian clay and maracuja blend, which is amazing for the skin.
I’ve not tried much from Lancome so I welcome the addition of the Hypnose Doll Lashes Mascara (Full size RRP £21.00). With a cone shaped brush that’s been carefully developed to assure the ideal load on each lash, the exclusive Fibershine formula is enriched with nylon powders to offers perfect load and beautiful curve for seductive fanned out lashes.
Last but not least is the ever so pretty Guerlain Shalimar Parfum Initial L’Eau (Full Size 100ml RRP £71.50), a perfume inspired by a love story of Shah Jahangir and his wife, Mumtaz Majal who built the Taj Mahal in her honour. The magic of Shalimar is indisputable and it starts off with the mysterious design of the beautiful bottle right through to the oriental fragrance that contains notes of jasmine , iris, rose, as well as lemon and bergamot.
