The March You Beauty Box has arrived and this month’s theme is centered around the “Best of British” with a shortlist that sees a homegrown line up of beauty must-haves covering a good area of beauty from tip to toe showcasing both well known and emerging brands. I’m delighted with my picks this month’s which consists of a new discovery from Nanshy and my favourite dry shampoo from COLAB not forgetting the generous extras on board.

You Beauty Box is a monthly beauty subscription service where you get choose two products of your choice from both well-known and emerging brands and they also throw in 2-3 bonus samples. Each month you’ll find a shortlist that’s been centered around a theme.

1. Nanshy 4-in-1 Makeup Blending Sponge – RRP £5.95

My Beauty Blender is definitely on it’s way out so the Nanshy 4-in-1 Blending Sponge was the perfect excuse to try something new and it couldn’t have arrived at a better time.

The Nanshy Marvel 4 in 1 Makeup Blending Sponge is uniquely designed to make applying your makeup as easy and flawless as possible. It has 4 surfaces which means it can do just about everything you need for you to achieve the perfect finish.

The quality of the sponge especially for the price is really impressive and boasts being cruelty-free too. I can’t wait to have a play over the weekend.

2. COLAB Sheer & Invisible Floral Fragrance Dry Shampoo  – Travel Size 50ml RRP £1.99

I’ve raved about the COLAB Dry Shampoo countlessly on my blog and even after trying some high end brands nothing even comes close so it really was a no brainer to add this travel size version to my shortlist.

So you may be wondering what’s the big deal, it’s just a dry shampoo right? Wrong, it’s so much more than that, it works great for dark haired girls, soaks up that unwanted oiliness effortlessly, gives lifeless looking hair much more oomph and they come in a variety of wonderful scents that leave the hair smelling freshly washed.

3. Extra samples inside the box:

As always, the You Beauty Box always includes some extra bonus treats and this months edition features the Charles Worthington SalonHome Moisture Seal Hair Healer (Travel size 50ml) and a face mask duo from Ooharr.

My Verdict

I love my picks this month which include a travel sized version of my holy grail dry shampoo as well as a brand new sparkly make-up sponge from Nanshy, two great brands born and bred in the UK, and when you combine the generous extras that have also been thrown in it really is a great way to explore exciting new brands and those that are already established and loved at such an affordable price.

One of the aspects I love about this box is that I have full control of what’s inside as well as receiving some additional bonus samples too meaning it’s less hit and miss! If you’re new to the beauty box concept then this is definitely a great purse friendly box to start off with and If you do happen to fall in love with something there’s a few discount codes from the brands featured this month too.
